Based on B.B. Easton’s memoir, ‘44 Chapters about 4 Men,’ this novel tells the story of a young 15-year-old BB and her relationship with troubled teenager, Knight.

I would not necessarily call this book a romance in the strictest sense. It deals with a lot of difficult subjects, including eating disorders, violence, suicide, and abuse. Their relationship is also decidedly toxic.

Having said that, it’s a wonderful book. BB herself really resonated with me, and she is incredibly authentic. Her relationship with Knight is similarly authentic, in its depiction of how we sometimes find love in challenging and toxic circumstances, and how even the worst experiences help us to grow and learn and change.

If you are looking for a heartwarming teen romance this isn’t the book for you. However, if you want a brilliant coming-of-age story, I highly recommend you check this one out.

Skin by B. B. Easton is unlike any romance I've read before. It's a hard book to describe, and I'm not sure it's possible for me do it justice in a couple of sentences or paragraphs. It's the kind of book that you just have to pick up and experience for yourself.
Being a teenager is hard, and this book portrayed that perfectly. I felt all the beautiful highs and heartbreaking lows right along with the characters...every funny, awkward, sweet, strange, terrifying, fucked up little thing.
After I finished reading I just couldn't get a hold on how I felt enough to write a proper review, Months later, what I can tell you is that it's a book that stayed with me for a long time after I read it. It's not a novel that you put down and never think about again. It's one you ponder and reflect upon.

I love BB and all her books are so amazingly beautiful and reliable. Skin is no exception and I can’t wait to dive in her next ones.

So unless you’ve been living under a rock for the last few months your bound to have seen all the reaction videos to Sex/Love and *that* scene. The series is based on @author.bb.easton’s memoir 44 Chapters About 4 Men.

Following the success of both BB has now released 4 books, one dedicated to each of the four men starting with Skin. BB is a teenager. She’s at high school and is trying her hardest to woo punk hunk Lance Hightower. Knight however has other ideas.

BB introduced Skin as part memoir part fiction inspired by BB and Knight and how things would have happened for them in situations. Knight was the edgy, slightly manic, bad boy and one of BB’s first boyfriends. He definitely comes across as dangerous and intense at times so might not be everyone’s cup of tea!

I think the fact that this is part memoir is what makes it so good and real. The writing is witty and draws you into the characters and the story. There are three more standalone’s in the series and I’m eager to read more!

A great read. Really fast paced with well written characters. I was rooting for BB all the way through. I definitely recommend this book.

I really enjoyed reading this book. I started it in the morning and I had finished it by 6pm.
I almost forgot it was her life but bb is awesome I love her personality and how just goes with the flow.
I loved knight although he is a badass he is also really loving too and I liked that.
Can not wait to read speed to see how her relationship pans out with knight and Harley.

Ronald "Knight" McKnight was the meanest, most misunderstood boy at Peach State High School . . . perhaps on the entire planet.

Knight hated everyone, except for me, BB - the perky, quirky punk chick with the locker next to his.

I, on the other hand, liked everybody . . . except for Knight.

I was scared to death of him, actually. All I wanted was to marry a Prince Eric-lookalike Lance Hightower and have a million of his babies.

Unfortunately for me, Knight was even better at getting his way than I was, and once he got under my skin, my life would never be the same

This was an edgy hot read ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Blimey. I need a rest after reading Skin. It is edgy, action orientated and non stop dragging the reader through the emotions of 15 year old BB. Only BB is absolutely on fire and is a definite anti hero, lusting after one person, getting together with another and trying to make sense of her life at the same time. A teenage pregnancy, lots of smoking, drug taking and random violence later and you have an epic tale of a teenager working out what life is.
