Great thriller with interesting cast of characters and all capped off by skilful writing. It's well worth your time if you appreciate great storytellers.

I was granted a free copy of this text by Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. This was a book that has been done so many times before much better. Pattenden needs to revise portions to add some life back to these characters that otherwise are 1 dimensional.

2.5 stars

I misjudged the blurb on this book, and thought it would be more about the friendships and the questions asked on the final video.
That barely factors into the book.
It was a quick read, with some good banter, but I was never fully convinced by the lifelong friendship of this group.
Not really my cup of tea.

I knew just from the description this book was going to be one to devour and devoured I did!
One Last Question was a great quick book!.

When six friends suddenly become five because Will had died.
These six boys always plan a guys weekend away once a year!
They party, laugh and have a good ol time!

Will is the one who plans for this weekend away months before his death.
So the remaining guys decide to go ahead and go!. Everything is booked and ready to to. Even tho they are still processing Wills death! They always play a game called brainmelter quiz.
Little do they know when they arrive and hit play on a video Will is the screen spilling each of their darkest secrets!
The boys find themselves in a world of trouble as events fold out and take place.
Will they make it out alive?

Y'all this book is genius and brilliant. And I was hooked from page one!
These are the books I love. Where I can't put it down and it's all I'm thinking about!

Thank you so much NetGalley, RedDoor Books and Mike Pattenden for this advanced copy!
