Little Bear goes to live with her Daddy at the weekends, and they usually have a lot of fun playing together. This weekend, however, Daddy Bear has to do some work on his computer, and Little Bear gets very annoyed and feels anxious waiting so long for him to finish. Eventually, she gets so bored that she goes into her own room to play alone. Daddy Bear comes looking for her, but he is surprised by her reaction to him. Can they make things right with each other and enjoy the rest of their weekend together?

I read this book with my daughter, and she thought Daddy Bear was like me, as I also like working on my computer. The book was good to show her that after I have finished doing my computer work, I will always come back to her and make sure we have fun together. Great book!

Many thanks to the author, publisher and NetGalley for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Very pleasing little read for (hopefully) very pleasing little readers. Having a weekend at her father's as usual, Little Bear is disgusted to find he has too much computer work to do to play with her. It takes so long for him to be finished in fact that she has a perfect revenge waiting for him. Not only is this a charming, bijou little story, wonderfully presented with bold illustrations, but it has a strong moral as well, of having patience for the good things in life. Perhaps it's true that the best things come to those who wait – and it may even be that they're better for the waiting. Either way, this is an ideal way to get that lesson taught.
