This is an amazing children's book about a little fox cub who has to find 101 daffodils, so that he can prove it is really spring time, and so that he can get a party with his family and friends. The book is really cute and it has beautiful illustrations and simple, easy to read text. My daughter and I really loved the book and she enjoyed counting all of the daffodils. She loved the animals too!

Many thanks to the author, publisher and NetGalley for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This was such a sweet book to read! The illustrations added so much to the book , with the beautiful drawings and colouring that will capture children's attention , it has everything you need in it.

I will admit I totally felt for Mable the mole when Dusty shouted at her (think it was the tiny tear that did it for me lol ) , but it was a great book celebrating springtime and how much they also means too the animals in woodlands with lots of opportunities for them. The team work element of the book was subtle enough that it didn't feel like it was a lesson in a patronising way.

I would definitely recommend this book for anyone with children

Very decent story of a fox cub waking up to his first spring and being told that what really makes a spring the season it should be is when you find 101 daffodils – that's when you can have a humongous party, as well. Endeavouring to do that, this cub soon realises he needs help in the shape of his bezzie mole friend, but when he snaps at her is there still going to be any chance of success? It's not really a book about getting over such hurdles in friendships, it's just about cute and winsome adventures of animals hunting round for daffodils impatiently. And that seemed to make a fine book for the very young, in my mind. A strong four stars.

What a lovely children’s book. It’s about a fox looking for daffodils and when she finds 101, it’s springtime. The story and illustrations are beautifully done. My child loved the story and counting the daffodils. It kept her engaged in the story. She loved finding the different characters on the pages and finding out what was happening next. Well written and colourful for children.
