Modderkolk has brought to life a significant problem with politics and globalisation in this book, but also forces readers from different countries to look broader and recognise that these issues with hacking, tech takeovers and misinformation are absolutely everywhere. The internet as an experiment is attaining a frightening maturity and this entire book gave me shivers. I've started using a VPN and increasing my online security as best I can. It's a scary world and I'm so glad I read this.

A very interesting and well researched book that talks about very serious problems for the Net society.
Black hat hackers, fake news, ransomwares can cripple our society creating problems or simply destroying data or putting our privacy at risks.
It's as gripping as any good thriller but you add the fear caused by real cases.
It strongly recommend it as it should be read by anyone who uses the net.
Highly recommended.
Many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for this ARC, all opinions are mine
