REVIEW:
I don't know where to start, I went into this book without expectations or anything, the synopsis caught my attention but I didn't think I was going to like it too much. This book is the most beautiful, sincere and real thing that exists.
Here we meet Nash, a boy who fulfilled his dream of being a singer but no longer sees that shine, that love for music and for himself. And on the other hand we have Nora a girl who dances and frees herself by doing so and has the opportunity to fulfill her dream by joining Nash's tour but with one condition and that is that she has to make him fall in love and break his heart so that he can write another one. success And tell me that this does not make you want to read it.
I became fond of the characters because the author makes them so real, with day-to-day problems, pressure from people, trauma, love, etc.
Nash and Nora's love story is the most imperfect but at the same time the most beautiful I have ever read. Not only do they fall in love with each other, but they see what is inside and help each other overcome everything that still hurts or left a mark in their lives.
I got excited, I got nervous and cried with the last chapters, it made me see how
you can feel love and that you have to forgive in order to heal your heart and move on. I don't think I can get over their story because they left a mark on me and I want everyone to read this gem of a book.
I recommend them if you like Boy Bands, romance.
And Kat congratulations on the publication of your book, and soon I will have it in physical because I want to reread Nash and Nora forever.

This was my first experience reading anything from Kat Singleton. When I read the synopsis for this book, I knew that I had to dive in as soon as possible and I'm super thankful that I was able to receive an ARC in exchange for a review.

This book was a rollercoaster of feelings, so buckle up and prepare yourself because you're in for a ride. Without giving anything away, Nora is a dancer that is hired on to be a backup dancer on Nash's tour but she's also been hired to make him fall in love with her and to then break his heart so that he can drop a killer album based off of his heartbreak. I mean, I should just throw the synopsis your way and let it speak for itself.

This story was so unique. I literally felt so many different emotions while reading this book and enjoyed the entire ride that was Founded on Goodbye. Nora is a really great character who struggles with her moral compass all throughout the book. Nash will literally make you fall in love with him. And Kat Singleton really just wrote their story wonderfully.

The only complaint that I have is that I wish certain things towards the end of the book had been explored a little more but overall I really enjoyed this book and the way that Nash & Nora's story panned out!

It was over before they even said hello... When the opportunity arose to tour with pop star Nash Pierce, Nora was completely beside herself. This was something she had been working towards her whole life, and now all she had to do is say yes, but that wasn't the only part of the deal. She also had to agree to get close to the pop star, make him fall for her, and then cut him loose when things started to get serious. In her heart of hearts she knew it was wrong to agree to something like this, but she went ahead and went along with the plan. Hoping that Nash wouldn't pay her a second glance and she'd never have to follow through with the other part of the plan.

But his manager had other plans for them, she put them together every chance she got, and before long things started to take a heated turn. One that Nora knew she was going to regret...

Founded on Goodbye is a emotionally charged and beautifully written story about a faux romance that was never supposed to turn real. The plan was simple, Nora was supposed to make him fall for her, and then walk away. But as she began to get to know the man underneath his pop star reputation, she started to like what she saw, and she started to fall... even though she wasn't supposed to. She also knew that if he found out what was happening behind his back, he'd never forgive her. Leaving her to wonder why in the heck she ever agreed to it in the first place... there was no possible way it will end well for either of them! Or would it?

From the first page until the last this story kept me enthralled, the characters stole my heart and attention and wouldn't let go. With all the deceiving taking place and lies being told I had to see if this one would end on a happy note, and to my surprise it did. But not without a little heartache too. I absolutely adored this wonderful story and it's perfectly crafted characters, they took me on a journey I won't soon forget! Highly recommend this one, it's a can't miss read!!!

I requested an advanced copy of this title from the publisher, and I am voluntarily leaving my honest and unbiased opinion.

4.5 stars

I love this book. So much.
It was a breath of fresh air in the musician romance genre.
This could have been super cheesy and dramatic and full of clichés but instead we got raw and real characters that you like pretty easily and will root for them from start to finish.
And not only our main characters were awesome but our side characters were *chef's kiss* amazing! So amazing I'm going to need Sebastián and Ziggy and Riley's book asap.
The only reason I'm not giving this 5 stars is because I wanted more in the end and I didn't like the villain but overall it was fantastic.
This is an slow burn romance story with small bits of drama and a lot of fun.
So so good and I fully recommend it.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publishers for the chance to read this book in exchange for an honest review.

I am a new reader to Kat Singleton, and I am SO glad I choose to read this book. Although rockstars are my guilty pleasure, this book had layers that took us beyond music. So many emotions are running through a read I had a hard time putting down. Nash and Nora are captivating, very entertaining; their banter, plus amazing chemistry, kept me turning pages.

Nora is a backup dancer on Nash’s tour, but she has a little extra in her contract. My apprehension in the deception grew as backgrounds are revealed, and the two get closer. Secrets are never a good thing. Will they come out of this hurting more? Can he open his black heart?

I am glad I took the chance on this author; I recommend this read!

Thank you to Netgalley and Victory Editing NetGalley Co-Op for the advanced copy; this is my voluntary review.

Overall: ****/5
Genre: NA Contemporary Rock Star Romance
Romance: ****/5
Steam: ***/5
Reading Rate: *****/5 I finished the book in a single day
Recommend if you liked: Punk 57 by Penelope Douglas

The story hits the ground running with Nora accepting a “deal with the devil” so to speak to move her career forward and try to outrun her own demons.
Pros:
- Fast paced and engaging story, there was never a dull moment
- I loved the premise of the dancer and the musician, I wish I could hear some of Nash’s music in real life
- Even though I knew what was coming from Page 1 of the book my heart still want not ready! This was for sure a “hurts so good” book
- The story for being short and fast managed to have some great side characters
- The bedroom scenes were more romantic than steamy but I didn’t mind it at all, it fit perfectly with the vibe of the book and I wouldn’t change it at all.
Cons:
- I loved Nash but found myself mentally shouting at Nora the whole book. She could have easily put a stop to the main issue early on, but I guess there would not have been a story if she handled it responsibly
- Then ending of the story felt a bit rushed to me, I really wanted to see more of a redemption story for both characters.
Overall I really enjoyed the story, I would 100% read more of this word and will definitely be reading more of Kat Singleton’s works in the future.

Nash is a rockstar who is struggling to write new songs. He has been hurt badly in the past and is angry about everything. His manager decides to hire Nora a dancer to be a part of his show. She wants her to make him fall in love with her and then break his heart so he can write some break up songs. Nora never thought he’d pay her any attention and she desperately wants to be a dancer so she agrees.. Of course they fall in love and she breaks his heart, but also her own.

Rockstar perfection! Kat Singleton is a new to me author, and this book spoke to my soul. The love story, heartbreak, and devastating past written by Kat are all the ingredients for this magical story.

Nora and Nash's story seems pretty straightforward from the very beginning, but there are so many layers peeled back as the pages turn that it becomes a masterpiece in storytelling.

I will be checking out more books by this.

I was surprised by how much I loved this book! It was so real and beautiful! With every single chapter you learn more about both Nash and Nora and you just fall in love with their relationship. The whole rockstar romance has been done before, but this story felt so unique in the chemistry you feel between Nora and Nash. I do wish we got to see their connection growing more in the beginning because there were parts that we’re told more than shown. Other than that, I’m in love with everything about this book and I’m hoping we get to see a sequel!

I loved the premise of this book. When the author started promoting it on Instagram, I got really excited.

The book follows the relationship of Nora, who is an aspiring dancer and Nash Pierce, a total diva singer. The plot was the most intriguing thing about this book because I knew it would bring some angst. The book was moderately paced, follows more of an insta love story as there were a lot of time jumps. The chemistry between the two MC's was believable but a little hypocritical at times, which was okay for me.

Although I am giving this book four stars, I think there are some major issues.

First, Nash is an assh***. He wants everyone to respect his boundaries and treat him like an adult who is fully capable of taking care of himself. He shows up late to rehearsal, treats most people like garbage, and has abusive habits. I wasn't a fan of him but what occurred throughout the book wasn't as bad as what Nora signed up to do to him.

Second, the whole point of this book isn't really a secret. Nora is hired to make Nash fall in love to write better songs about heartbreak. If someone were to manipulate me into hurting someone else, I don't think I could really stomach that. Nora really doesn't have any justification for why she thinks its okay to take this job and really doesn't have any emotional attachments other than the occasional "oh no, Maybe I shouldn't be doing this, he seems so nice" Nora and Nash really could have avoided a lot of childish moments by simply communicating.

Overall, I would read the story, its a quick music romance read. I would have liked to have seen this story featured in a series rather than a single book but I will defiantly read more from this author to see their progression.

I just reviewed Founded on Goodbye by Kat Singleton. #FoundedonGoodbye #NetGalley

5 Stars for this heartbreaking rockstar romance!

"You are my Rain Show" ... I just love that line! This book just kept breaking my heart over and over. Nash and Nora are both so broken and I wanted them to heal each other so much. Even though Nash was mean to Nora, the electricity between them jumped off the pages from the first time they met. The only thing is I would like liked a little more on their backstories, but it didn't take away from the book at all. I love rockstar books and this is one of my favorites. This is my first book by this author and it won't be my last.

The last time Nash's heart was broken he wrote his most popular album and those closest to him want him to write another hit album. So, they offer Nora the chance of a lifetime ... to be a backup dancer on tour with popstar Nash Pierce. All she has to do is make him fall for her and then break his heart. Nora is hesitant, but then thinks "what are the chances of Nash falling for me?" and "how many other women have they made this same offer to?" ... and she takes the job. When Nora meets Nash, she feels this gravitational pull towards him but he is such a jerk to her that she knows he'll never fall for her. But when Nash's team ups the ante and has Nora and Nash dance a solo, the tides turn and Nash becomes infatuated with her. Will Nora get her happily-ever-after or will she break Nash all over again?

Nora is a dancer with a large media following and Nash is the gorgeous sexy rockstar. His manager hired Nora to be a dancer on his tour, get him to fall in love with her and then dump him. The reason, well he wrote better songs when his girlfriend dumped him and broke his heart. Yes this is the coldest scenario I’ve ever heard but it sounds good. I love reading how Nash comes alive and falls in love with Nora and it was giving me anxiety chest pains to know she was going to break his heart, and her own. This story was fantastic, it had me ugly crying. I was an emotional wreck. Loved Loved Loved this book, I’m giving it five stars and I’m highly recommending it.

This wasn't like normal love stories that I have read before. I did feel like the author added some unnecessary stuff just to fill in more of the pages though. And the ending felt.... Well, it felt like it could have been better. But I did enjoy the characters and the story.

Absolutely loved this book. And I’m obsessed with Nash and Nora. I think the ending went on a little too much, and Nora’s traumatic backstory was hyped and then never brought up after we found out about it. Didn’t seem super influential to the story. Besides that, I think this was a sweet romance with two characters who are flawed yet still find a way to love each other and themselves. I wish we could have seen more of Nash’s recovery story rather than just the flash forwards at the end of the book. Over all, was a quick and entertaining read!
