I found this murder/mystery/suspense novel to be engrossing, right up until the end. I was let down as too many people were in the pie with stories that did not really tie into the main theme. I can see it was meant to be a guessing game, but it fell flat at the end.

This was a compelling and thoroughly enjoyable read from start to finish with a great storyline, interesting cast of characters and all capped off by skilful writing. It's well worth your time if you appreciate great storytellers.

This book was a decent read! It was filled with suspense, intrigue, action , and a lot of who done it! This book had a lot of twists and turns! At times it definitely had me on the edge of my seat! I did enjoy reading this book but it wasn't my all time favorite! Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for sharing this book with me!

The good:
It was a quick, easy, fun read
I could really picture the action and it played like a good movie in my head
I kept the pages turning to see what would happen next
I loved the characters, and want to read more about them
I loved how it went from the present to the past, and back. It slowly revealed what happened in the past, and every time I thought I knew what was coming, I was wrong.

The bad
I wanted to punch the main character for some of the decisions that he kept making
It almost felt like there was TOO Much action at times. It was go, go, go go..
I didn't think the actions of the best friend rang true - I didn't think the character was consistent.

Overall., I really liked it and will be reading more books by this author. I do want to thank #netgalley for the ARC which did not impact my review.

I loved how fast paced the book was and that I was able to finish it in one sitting! The plot was fantastic and the twists are off the charts! Love!

Whilst this was a fun read,I couldn't really take it seriously.
The main character seemed to go from looser,to action hero lounging on the sofa a bit too easily.
I think the bad guy was a bit too predictable too.
Sets itself up nicely for next book in series,where I wonder,I'd the authour going to mention food quite so much again?

The beginning grabs you and pulls you into this page-turner. I simply devoured this book in one sitting!
I really hope NetGalley brings book two I can't wait to see where this book leads to because this one was just amazing!
Loved how the story went back before going forwards but without revealing too much of the story.
Great scene descriptions as well as an excellent insight into the victims mind and what is going on around.
The plot was crazy intense and outta this work, you will not see any of it coming!
