More than a Christmas romance with interesting characters, a nicely balanced story which moved between the Italian sunshine and Dublin in the winter. Lovely descriptions of the places really bring them to life. Also the plot kept you guessing just a bit too as to how the story might end! An enjoyable feel good read.

For most of the book I thought I had the ending already pegged but thankfully it took a late minute diversion which probably saved the book. I wasn’t too big a fan of it going back in time either - it can work in some books but didn’t seem to work for me in this one.

A really easy, lovely read. A Christmas book which will give you all the right warm Christmassy feels.
Norah had a holiday romance 10 years ago and they said they would meet on Christmas Eve 10 years after.
Norahs life is a bit up in the air so she actually decides to go to Ireland to see if Andrew is waiting for her.
I’ve seen other people say they predicted what happened quite early on, but I didn’t. It wasn’t until way into the book that I was like ‘ ohhhhhhhh ‘ and the penny dropped.
I really enjoyed this. Definitely one for your Christmas list!

Although it's main theme is set around Christmas don't feel you need to wait till then to read it, it's a great story for any time of the year.

Predictable but enjoyable. It took me a few chapters in, to actually get into the story but after a slow start the book improved. I fell in love with Joe from the beginning, he was such a beautiful soul. But I’m afraid I didn’t warm to Norah. I found her annoying and irritating and Joe was far too good for her. Parts of the book felt like a tourist guide to Dublin, but it sounded like a very interesting place to visit and see the landmarks/places mentioned in the book. The last few chapters were the best and very emotional.. An easy read if you like an uncomplicated, predictable love story with a happy ending. Ah I’m on a nice high after reading this book. It was unexpectedly good after what was a bit of a slow start where a lot of angst was delivered up front. And although I thought I saw the ending coming, I wasn’t really sure and was happily going with that flow when the happy ever after did arrive. I’d definitely read another by this author again.

I loved this book! Set at Christmas time it tells the story of Norah who decides to meet a man she met 10 years ago in Ireland and see if any sparks remain. I loved the ending I'm so pleased with how it worked out.

First Christmassy read of the year and I'm here for it!

Norah meets Andrew on a summer holiday and they make a pact to meet in Dublin 10 years later. Does he turn up? Does she go?

The story is a mixture of present day and Norah's recollection of events over the years happy and sad involving Andrew, her family and her circle of friends.

It's not overly Christmas but just enough to give it that little magical feel.

A nice easy read.

I'm not sure I could love this book more!
Suitably festive in a cosy, feel good way but with bite as it tackles the way our identity changes (or gets a bit lost) as we travel through our late teens to turning 30 and I thought that was covered so well; how friendships evolve, people change, family & where we live & work all alters, and our childhood dreams can get harder to realise. I felt that Norah as a character was likeable and reminded me a lot of my younger self. Her relationships with her Mum & her Dad throughout the book, particularly in her memories of her earlier years, was beautifully written. It covers how sometimes when the present isn't what we'd hoped for we spend so much time in the past, that inevitably alters our perspectives of what opportunities we have right now and our true selves.
I adored Norah's friendship circle and how they evolved over time, comparing the present day to the younger versions in her memories.
I could picture this book throughout as an amazing Christmas romcom festive film, it would be perfect with some excellent characters, funny moments suitably tear-jerking touches.

This was a really easy lovely read - if a little predictable. A feel good Christmas tale, though there are some parts mostly in the first half set in Italy so it may not leave you feeling instantly festive! The main character got on my nerves ever so slightly but they all came through in the end. I also loved that it was set in Dublin. My first Christmas book of the year just as a heatwave hit!

A really lovely read.When Norah finds herself alone for Christmas she asks her friend Joe to go with her to Dublin where she has made plans to meet up with an old boyfriend who she hasn't seen for ten years,but things don't turn out quite like she expected. Really love the location with so many familiar sights that the author bought to life with a lovely festive feeling story. A great book to curl up with a nice hot drink and get into the spirit of the season. I loved it

The journey this book takes you on is beautiful. It weaves the events of the present day with recollections, in chronological order, from ten years ago to now, filling in the story as you go along. Granted, I did figure out the twist from the title of chapter two alone but that took nothing away from the story of love, lost and found. Norah was a character that we could all find a part of ourselves in and I enjoyed delving deeper into her story, even if it triggered some tears. This book reminded me alot of How To Save A Life by Eva Carter, which I adored. I was drawn to this book as it was set mostly in Dublin. As an Irish person I can say it paints a lovely and honest view of what it's like bustling around the city at Christmas time. This was a touching festive story with a heartfelt message of staying true to yourself.

Baby it's cold outside is a romantic Christmas tale about the choices and decisions we make, how we concentrate on what we want and forget to see the beauty of things right in front of our nose.

The story takes us on a trip to Dublin during the Christmas holidays where Norah is on a mission to reunite with her fling from 10 years ago. She things he's the best thing she ever had and is desperate to meet him again, as they promised to do the last time they saw each other.

I liked author's writing style giving us enough information of Norah's present and the past. It was great to experience the story behind that brought Norah on a spree trip to Dublin, but I felt that the characters weren't developed well enough, I couldn't "feel " their emotions fully and the outcome was predictable pages away from the end of the story.

Overall, if you're looking something quick and easy to read, this story might be just for you.

My first Christmas/Winter themed book of the year. I loved it! Don’t save it , read it now, you’re in for a treat. The main characters are so likeable and I also loved that it was set in Ireland. Needed a translator for some of those Isiah names, haha. 5 star review from me

Baby Its Cold Outside had me humming the song as I opened this enjoyable rom-com, but despite being set at Christmas, it’s the third main character of Dublin that really shines here. This slow-burn romance for Anna, the main character, is gentle but had a nice pace ticking along towards a satisfying conclusion. It really did spark a wanderlust to visit Dublin as its charm and hospitality of the people really came across. A lovely read!

You hear people talking, jokingly, about getting together in x amount of years, if you're both still single, but in Baby, It's Cold Outside, the pact to meet in ten years in Dublin is something our main character Norah Jones is seriously considering.
Having met Andrew in Italy, as a fresh-faced young woman, and been swept off her feet, fate brought them together but tore them apart too.
As the date of reckoning approaches, life throws Norah a curveball, leaving her at a loose end at Christmas, and she finds herself going to Dublin to see if this meeting will really happen, with her long time friend Joe with her.
I really loved Norah Jones, singer, turned music teacher. She's been dealt a tough hand by life, in so many ways, losing people she loved, and I really wanted her to get her happily ever after,
She gets her Happily Ever After, but, maybe, not in the way she expected.
The cast of characters within the book was great, with Norah's circle of friends, her mum, and several special other people she meets in Dublin.
And, talking of Dublin, reading this book makes me want to go and visit!
A lovely Christmas story to warm the cockles of your heart.

Yes it might have been a bit predictable but I still enjoyed it, just like I enjoy the Christmas movies they show on TV!
I loved Norah and Joe and what I loved the most was the music, I am definitely putting together a playlist of all the songs in the book.

What a sweet romantic book I really enjoyed this. It’s set at Christmas which adds to the magic. We join Norah who after getting dumped by her mum for Christmas she decides to keep a date with an old flame that was set up ten years ago. With her trusted friend Joe along for the ride to Dublin will she finally find love this Christmas or is she in for a real disappointment.
