Monty C. Floyd always writes the most adorable children's books. This one in particular takes the cake. Floyd shows that differences are what make people beautiful. Even though the toy makers threw him in the trash, Timmy found him and Letizia befriended him. This was a story of friendship and adventure, and I just know it will make the best series.

This was cute. My kid loved it! We read it together before bed. He liked the characters and the graphics.

This books is divided into two shirts stories. The first is about how Timmy discovers a discarded toy and names him outcast. I love the meaning behind accepting all toys (and people)- even if the eyes are mismatched. The second book is outcast goes to the white house. Timmy is told he has to leave outcast behind on a white house tour. While waiting for Timmy to return, outcast goes on his own adventure. This is a fun book for kids, but the stories did seem a little long for young kids.

Outcast Goes to the White House is a lovely story about an Otter who is thrown out of a toy factory for an imperfection who is luckily found by Timmy and the adventures begin. I read this to my little boy who loved it.

Poor Oscar, thrown out of the toy factory when he is found to have mismatched eyes. Thankfully he is found by Timmy and life starts to look better for the toy (now renamed Outcast).
This book has two parts - an origin story and a first adventure where Timmy, his dad and Outcast go to The Whitehouse.
I get the feeling kids will really enjoy this
