Dirtiest Little Secret by Skye Jordan
A Quick and Dirty Romance #

What a fun way to spend the afternoon…or a day on the beach…or perhaps locked in a winter cabin due to too much snow. This story put a smile on my face and had me WISHING I was in Ava’s place…at least with Isaac!

What I liked:
* Ava Jennings: wealthy, educated, in her family’s steel business, confronted with big choices ~ I like where she ended up at the end.
* Isaac Banks: good family, engineer, mechanic, business owner, loves his family, more than meets the eye at first glance ~ I like where he ended up at the end.
* That the H/h were equals without realizing it, at least at first
* The fantasy aspect of the beginning
* How what could have been a nightmare for Ava when she stepped on the wild side turned out just the opposite
* That Isaac loved his family as he did
* Isaac’s family – didn’t see much of them but thought they were “good people”
* The way Ava caught and dealt with her despicable fiancé
* The growth in the relationship between Ava & Isaac in the first part
* Ava’s friends stepping in to help her see the “truth”
* The resolution of the expected breakup at the end
* The steamy bits…wow…just…WOW…
* Reading a story that made me care
* Stepping into a few worlds I will never venture into
* Reading a new to me author I will look for again
* Thinking about “what if” & “What would *I* do?”
* The writing, plot, predictability, and happy ending

What I didn’t like:
* The pain both H/h felt at times in their life journeys
* Ava’s family…BIG TIME

Did I enjoy this book? Yes
Would I read more by this author? Definitely

Is it predictable and formulaic? Perhaps BUT…here are a few things I scribbled down while reading:
* Hot
* Steamy
* Sexy
* Secrets
* Fun
* Whip-smart
* Smile on my face

Thank you to NetGalley and the author for the ARC – This is my honest review.

This was fun it was short, feel good and exciting. I liked how creative it was and it really had me hooked from the first chapter. It was real and honest and it was exciting. At points I wished I were as strong as Ava because she really was a strong female lead

I received a complimentary copy of Dirtiest Little Secret from NetGalley.  Opinions expressed in this review are entirely my own.

I loved this book! This one was everything rolled into one. Great love story, backstory, build-up, etc. Apart from being deliciously predictable, this novel put a few twists on the standard formula. Very enjoyable read!

I really enjoyed this book! The relationship between Ava and Isaac was both interesting (and steamy), and played out in such a way that you were rooting for them to get together in the end. I also enjoyed how Ava's relationship with her family was fleshed out and I couldn't help but adore this strong-willed woman who goes after what she wants professionally and romantically. A great summer read!

Wow what a super hot book about two people from rich family businesses who find they're similarly disenchanted with Manhattan. They by chance cross paths, Ava not realizing the hot biker is a childhood neighbor. He on the other hand quickly discovers who she is and determines to keep her safe while she explores the wild side. I love Skye's writing because she gets into the heart of her characters and shows us how they can heal.

Ava Jennings has been striving her whole life to make her Dad proud and be an family business equal to her brothers. Her Dad is about to retire from Jennings Steel and she is looking at taking the COO position. When she catches her fiancée Matthew having sex in his office with 2 co-workers she fires him and breaks off the engagement. He Dad doesn't agree seeing it as an over emotional response. She and her best friend take some time to get drunk and maybe find a hook-up. When motorcycle mechanic Isaac Banks walks in he quickly figures out who Ava is and decides to scare her home. When Ava doesn't scare they share a really hot night. Ava tracks him down a week or so later looking for more. They start a steamy affair and learn they come from similar backgrounds and share disappointments. It comes to a head when her Dad decides to give her COO position to Matthew, whom he's hired back. That's also when Ava discovers Isaac knew who she was and lied to her. You'll have to read to find out how they found their HEA.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced readers copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

3.5/5 stars

I was so pleasantly surprised by this! I honestly had no expectations going in but the story had much more depth and heart than I was expecting and I loved the romance between Isaac and Ava. They’re both just so damn likeable and the heat between them was scorching.

I would have liked a bit more development and resolution with Ava’s relationship with her family – it came off a bit one-dimensional and the ending was pretty abrupt – but honestly I was here for the sexytimes so it really didn’t bother me that much.

This was a hot and entertaining read and I’d highly recommend it if you’re looking for something sweet and smutty that’s well-written with a decent plot. I’m looking forward to reading more from Skye Jordan!

Thank you for sharing this book with me. I enjoyed reading it.. It is a fast-paced read, with a fairly obvious plot, but still entertaining.

A very quick and fairly ridiculous novel. I was really disappointed. I think there may have been more potential had it been longer and the characters had more of a fleshing out

Star Ratings - 1 (poor) - 5(READ THIS BOOK)
· Writing Quality: 4 stars
· Story ingredient: 4 stars
· Ease of reading/Pace: 5 stars
· Plot strength: 4 stars
· Steam Level: 5 stars - open door scenes; graphic

Notes/Opinion (personal):
This is a shorter book (at least for me) loaded with steam. I did enjoy that Isaac was a definite straight shooter. Ava, on the other hand, took the route too many people take - following what someone else wants her to do for approval, instead of following what she is supposed to do with her life. She is not happy. This could have easily been expanded to a longer, more detailed book. I did feel left a little hanging with the ending but it was a complete read overall.

A family business and love what else would you need?

Ava Jennings is a part of her family Steel business, then problems with her personal life disrupts the business too. She makes a decision about both that her family doe not agree with so she decides she needs needs to get away from work and let loose. She goes out with her friend and runs into Isaac Banks, a boy from her past that she does not remember. Can one night together be enough and will she ever be a part of her family like a real daughter should? A must read to find out. I really enjoyed this read and would recommend it to others..

Warning there is some cheating BUT also lots of passion and love.

Loved it. Sassy writing, a great heroine in Ava and a sexy biker in Isaac. The opening few pages are great and set the scene for some emotional dialogue, some sarcastic and funny qu’ils as well as steamy sex. The sex scenes are well written and natural and don’t come across as stilted and add to the character development and the plot. Throw in an idiot family and a gang of bikers and you have a book that just ends too soon.

Absolutely enjoyed this quick little story. The chemistry between Ava and Issac was scorching. Loved Ava's personality, she was taking no shit from the men in her life and I was here for it. I also appreciated Isaac's vulnerability in acknowledging how a particularly traumatic event in his life saw him changing his trajectory, and how supportive his parents were.
A nice palate cleanser if you find yourself in a reading slump.

ARC received from Netgalley and author/publisher in exchange for an honest review. Opinions expressed are my own and have not been influenced in any way.

Dirtiest Little Secret by Skye Jordan is a steamy,naughty but albeit sweet book.
This book follows Ava Jennings; an ambitious career woman trying to climb the corporate ladders of her family business and Isaac Banks; a simple bike mechanic with hidden depths.
When Ava finds her fiance cheating on her  she fires him and goes to a biker bar for letting go for one night. There she meets Isaac, with whom she has sparkling chemistry. I'm not kidding, the chemistry and romance between them was crackling!

He ignored her plea. He was having way too much fun. He was fascinated by the sight of her. " Don't rush me, baby. I've found a new addiction. And I'm obsessed "

I loved Ava, she was very confident and sultry. I liked how she stood up for herself in the first chapter and went after what she wanted. I hated her family though, they didn't care about her and were completely selfish.
What i didn't like about this book was the little interaction between Ava and other members of the family, we only get to know their names. Also i wasn't sure about the ending, i don't think she should've worked as a receptionist.
Nonetheless this book was perfect for a short erotic read!!

Dirtiest Little Secret is an erotic romance. Ava Jennings has spent her life dedicated to her family's steel business. She is engaged to one of the management team at the company. After catching him engaging with extra curricular activities under his desk with two co-workers, she fires all three of them on the spot. Her family supports her breaking the engagement but not the firing. Although Ava works harder than her brothers and the ex-fiance, she is not given respect as she is a female.

Ava decides to do something totally out of character and goes to a well known wild biker bar. She is determined to prove that she can be capable of spontaneous wild sex. She turns down come of the older bikers but she is attracted to an edgy motorcycle mechanic. Isaac Banks is not a member of the club but he is the best bike mechanic in the state. Ava doesn't realize that the sexy man is the awkward kid that used to come to her family dinner along with his parents when they were kids. She is a part of the world that he left behind. She is the woman that he had adolescent fantasies about so he decides to give her one night. This is a good book that I recommend.

Dirtiest Little Secret, by Skye Jordan, follows Ava, who has recently found her ex-fiancé cheating on her with multiple people. This shatters her illusion of a perfect life, and she’s left with little self confidence. She meets the secretive Isaac Banks, a biker with a troubled past that isn’t who he appears to be. Ava has lots of courage which was great to see her standing up for herself, as with most smut novels there is little plot. Dirtiest Little Secret was a quick and enjoyable read!

At first, I would like to thank Netgalley and Cygnet Books for allowing me to review this book. Keep in mind that my review, however, is my true opinion on this book.

Apparently, “Dirtiest little secret” is a part of a series. I had no idea before I read the book, and I did not notice when I read the book either. Therefore, I will say this to you in true honesty: This book can be read as a stand-alone!

Ava Jennings has a pleasant and decent life. But her fiancé might not be the one she thought he was. And now, she has no self-esteem and does not know how to continue her life.

We also meet Isaac Banks, who also has his own struggles. He sure is not the person he used to be.

This is a quick read, but it is a good read. You can surely enjoy this book this summer! And you should give this one a shot!

The characters are lovely. Especially Ava Jennings and her story is special, and I really enjoyed getting to know her through her actions especially. She has more power and more courage than you might think at first glance. And she is a lovely character!

This is a lovely and engaging story! Romance, love, and heat! That is what you get with "Dirtiest little secret"!

Light escapism at its finest. It’s a super quick read overall, so don’t expect the plot to get very deep. Also, it’s a smut novel. So what do you expect?

Ava discovers that her fiancé isn’t a very good guy, in the sleeping with other coworkers at the family business kinda way. So it’s easy to hate him. Ava’s best friend, like any good friend, convinces her to rebound at a biker bar. Spoiler (not really), she ends up running into a guy from her childhood but doesn’t put it together. He does though, and he always had a bit of a thing for her. Now that their adult paths have crossed, will she fall for him (and on him) before she realizes who he is? You know it.

Before you pick this up, make sure you know what you’re getting into. This is the type of book that makes you thankful kindles are a thing and you don’t have to read this in public with a cover on it. There’s infidelity, sex, a dismissive family, lots of money, more sex and mentions of a suicide. So if any of those things bother you, pass. If you’re cool with it, enjoy!
