It introduces readers to extraordinary women who have made their mark throughout history. Readers are asked to imagine themselves in similar situations. Designed to inspire discussions between children and adults, thought-provoking questions are asked, such as “If you could meet any woman from any country and time in history, who would it be? What would you ask her?”
“If you could be a singing sensation, what type of music would you sing? If you could perform a duet with anyone in the world, who would it be?” Such questions inspire children to think about their own specific answers in a creative way, thus encouraging creativity in children. This is a unique one-of-its-kind book that will make waves in the world.

This is a slightly different take on the usual Rebel Girl series. Instead of learning about famous women, although we are, we are being asked to think about what they did. Such as Ada Lovelace, credited with creating the first computer programming, before even computers had been created. But knowing that about here, the questions are "How many machines do you think you use in an average day?" and "If you were going to invent a machine, what would you want it to do?"

It is a good way to begin a discussion, and to think about your life, and how you feel. It is probably best done in a group setting, where you can ask others their opinion on the matter.

So good resource for teachers, but it can also be read on its own just to see the wmen picked, frm all over the wold, and all walks of life.

Questions for Rebel Girls is a well thought out collection of prompts collected by the editors at Rebel Girls. Due out 19th Oct 2021, it's 144 pages and will be available in paperback and ebook formats.

These are refreshingly deep and thought provoking questions/prompts in different contexts to start discussions and self-examination. They can be used for group discussions or for solo work, such as journaling or self-learning.

The art is exuberant and colorful (like all of Rebel Girls' materials) and graphically appealing. The art is full page. The first part of each entry contains a portrait of a female icon (Lady Gaga, Ada Lovelace, Jane Goodall, and many many others) followed by questions to expand on the theme (how did you feel when..., what are some things which..., if you dedicated your life to studying....).

Five stars. This is a worthwhile book from a genuinely worthwhile publisher. It would make a good choice for public or classroom library acquisition, writing groups for youngsters, activity groups, or gifting to a young friend who enjoys writing. Long live Rebel Girls!

The authors have done it again. This edition of Rebel Girls, ask thought provoking and life changing questions, while providing brief snapshots of the lives and achievements of other Rebel girls and women.

Utterly fantastic and a welcome addition to any school, library or home collection.

Rebel Girls is a great organization that is trying to encourage the girls of today. Looking through this book, it made me think of the American Girl books in the past, the ones that talked about social issues. Rebel Girls is doing just that. Using famous women from the past and today, there are plenty of questions for the reader to be engaged. Who knows? Maybe one of the readers will be the next Rebel Girl.

This installment takes a bit of a different approach to the Rebel Girls series. It presents different figures from a variety of backgrounds and careers and also asks questions to the reader. It asks a variety of different questions to get young girls to think about the world around them and what they feel and want. I think this is a fantastic installment to the series and is a great way to get any reader, not just young girls to think. The illustrations are just as stunning as they are in every installment of Rebel Girls.

What a fun book! This book takes inspiration from the lives of famous women and poses questions to the reader based on those lives. The book may give a quote with follow-up questions for the reader to think about, journal about, or talk about. Alternatively, the book gives facts about role models and gives questions based on that. It would make a great addition to a classroom that utilizes journaling or discussing.

This addition to the Rebel Girls series is a little different, it still includes snippets about many different women/girls and what they are known for, but the main aspect of this one is asking questions of girls who are reading it. Some of them are very deep and introspective questions, some are questions that are simpler such as 'this or that' questions and there are even questions sent in by readers! The colors are bright and fun, and as in the other books the artwork is done by different artists that showcase their individual styles. This is a great addition to the series as a whole.

Bright, concise and timely, Questions For Rebel Girls gives punchy little snippets into important women in society and gives really interesting questions for the youth of today to mull over. Would be great for a classroom setting or if you have youngsters that you want to have perhaps difficult or timely conversations with at home. Incorporating quotes from prominent women, highlighting various milestones and accomplishments from famous women in history, and sharing would you rather questions from every day kids, Questions for Rebel Girls is the type of interactive text that is perfect for children of all ages.

I could see myself sitting down with both of my daughters and going through these pages together. The subject matter asks questions about feelings, social justice movements, courage, and more innocuous, sillier things that are tailored to a child's life experience. Everything is treated with sensitivity and is a judgement-free. And, as always, the vibrant colors and illustrations are a huge draw.

This is a great expansion of the Rebel Girls universe. I cannot wait to order this for my own kids.

Questions for Rebel Girls is a fun, illustrated, interactive book for children where they can read, ask and answer questions inspired by Rebel Girls. The book is beautifully designed, using the illustrations of the Rebel Girls books. The book includes all types of questions about whether the reader agrees with statements by Rebel Girls or what they would do, for example, as a leader. I think the book can inspire children to think about certain topics together with their family and/or friends.

I absolutely adore the Rebel Girl series and as soon as i saw a new installment, i just had to request it.
In this book there were quotes and really interesting questions, even some questions sent in from young girls. These questions really get you to think, whether you read it alone, with kids or someone else. It gives you a great opportunity to discuss your answers with others.

My daughter loved the other Rebel Girls book and enjoyed that this one was small bios in about people too alongside the questions.

Questions for Rebel Girls shares the stories of women have conquered society's expectations of them and stood out showing how strong, innovative, and creative women can be.

The questions helped me to reflect on my self awareness and also dare myself to keep dreaming.
Stories of women from all over the world, from Asia, Africa, Amaerici, South America, Australia, Europe, women who were/ are scientists doctors, writers, directors, musicians, athletes, entrepreneurs, activists and so many amazing professions.

Questions for Rebel Girls will inspire every girl to believe in themselves that they can stand above the status quo and define their narratives.

Questions for Rebel Girls is a brilliant resource of a book. On each page, there are these absolute powerhouse brilliant women and facts about them or things they have said. Following this there is a series of questions the child can ask themselves in order to get a better understanding of themselves and what they want from their life. There's themes of kindness, achievement, environment, personality, strength, activism and self esteem. The questions are soul searching but delivered in fun way on a page filled with cool and eye catching graphics. It also features questions from children around the world for them to consider.

The kids loved thinking about the questions posed in the book and it sparked interesting discussion when we spent time together. All in all, it's a fabulous book that you can refer to time and time again.

This book is a little different from the previous Rebel Girls books, but so much fun. Highlighting many amazing women in bit-size bios, and each bringing up it’s own set of discussion questions. You never know, the answers might totally surprise your friends and family or even open up great discussions. And although there isn’t anywhere to write your answer within, this gives the reader the opportunity to change their answers as they grow or interests change.

You know as I was reading, I could help but imagine how fun this book would be for sleepovers – having many of your close friends together reading and discussing these questions together. Just an example of some questions: “what is the most courageous thing you’ve ever done?” “if you could shape-shift into any animal, what would it be?” “if you could travel anywhere and take pictures, where would it be?”. All in all, there are 500 age-appropriate questions, and each page is colourful and fun.

A great addition for any of the Rebel girls in your life.

This was a very cool book. It would make an excellent gift for a young girl in your life who is trying to figure out who she is and what she wants.

I love the questions it asked and how it really got me thinking, but also introduces readers to some very historic women throughout history so it’s a great way to combine self discovery and learning as well.

I have read and reviewed a number of titles in the Rebel Girls series. The books are ones that encourage young women to achieve their goals and to learn about those who have come before them. These women may have struggled but that is part of what makes their achievements so remarkable.

This book is a bit different from the ones that have come before. It encourages girls to ask questions, taking their time to do so. Entries are inspired by real women. For example, the very first entry is inspired by Lady Gaga. It quotes her on kindness and then offers three questions: What is something kind that you have done for another person recently and how did it make you feel? This is followed by what do you do when someone is unkind to you and another asking what you might do if you had the money to do something kind for people you know at school. These are good prompts for either thinking about by one’s self or in group discussion.

Just a few of the many other women who inspired questions include Mae Jemison, Lupito Nyongo, tri-athlete Paula Newvy-Fraser and Temple Grandin By spending time with them, girls are given the opportunity to better understand themselves and those around them.

This title is illustrated with bright colors. Each woman’s illustration is striking.

I very much like this title and applaud its goals. It would make a terrific gift. Adults, too, may want to ponder its questions.

this book was great, like all the rebel girls books. i hope little humans can feel inspired while answering these questions and changing the world! u gotta teach em young. i hope rebel girls continue to release more books and my feminist, queer brain and i will be here to read em all!

From pop stars to athletes to ancient inventors, this book introduces girls to plenty of interesting women and then follows up with questions the reader can answer themselves. I liked that it also included plenty of questions from regular girls who had the opportunity to send in their own ideas and be a part of this book.

The book was bright, colourful, and positive. It was the kind of activity book where the reader can choose to read through the whole thing, or do a page or two a day, filling in their answers in a separate notebook. I would recommend this book to young readers who are interested in guided journaling, but loved that it was so much more than a guided journal because of all the interesting facts and quotes that were included.
