Thank you to netgalley for an ARC of this book.

I absolutely loves it i feel like i have been waiting for it forever. Axel is by far my favourite character of the whole series and he did not disappoint.

I have absolutely adored all of the Bergman Brothers books thus far and With You Forever is no exception! What is not to love about this grumpy & sunshine marriage of convenience slow burn romance with ASD representation? Nothing. All of Liese’s books cover serious topics and they make you think about the bravery that is required to enter into a romantic relationship. However, With You Forever also packs a punch on the comedy front and I found myself laughing out loud more than once. This book is steamy and sweet, it is hilarious and it is heartfelt, but most of all, it is literary perfection. Liese proves that opposites attract… or maybe Axel and Rooney aren’t so different after all.

• WITH YOU FOREVER • #gifted @chloe_liese @netgalley • Pub Date: September 14

I've been not-so-patiently anticipating Axel and Rooney's story since it was first hinted at and I was not disappointed. Each book in this series has been incredible; I'm a little sad that we're over halfway through now (but beyond excited for Oliver's story next!)

Every story by Chloe has such wonderful characters, they feel like friends, like real people. Whenever I pick up one of these books I've been able to find something I can relate to, but also an experience different from mine that I can learn from.

I thought this was the perfect story for Axel and Rooney, full of angst, pining, tenderness, humor and a slooowww burn that was so worth the wait. I'm already looking forward to re-reading this when my paperback copy arrives.

If you haven't read Chloe Liese, what are you waiting for?! Her books are some of the most beautifully written, and they absolutely sweep you away. Each book is better than the last, and they are all incredible. I fell in love with this story and Axel and Rooney (and Harry and Skugga!) and didn't want their story to end. This book was unlike any other I've read, and Rooney was such a well written character that you feel everything she's going through. And Axel? The grumpy, sunshiney, flannel-wearing man just stole my heart! You just feel all the love he has in droves! And I love appearances by our favorite Bergmans...I just adore this family, and can't wait to see where Chloe takes us next!

I will never get enough of Chloe’s words…they are truly magnificent. The realness, the tenderness, the rawness…the heart bleeds through the page and it wraps you up and you feel safe and happy and warm while reading this story. This story will make you feel like you're reading in the woods in Washington, and wish you have an Axel in real life! Another beautiful Bergman story, and one that will stick with me!

Another 5 star Bergman Brothers story. I read this in one sitting because I fell in love with these characters on page 1 and couldn't step away. Sweet, swoony, sexy trip to a little cabin in the woods with lovable but reserved Axel and Rooney ❤

I didn’t think that a Bergman would steal my heart away from Ryder but Axel is a different story all together.

Chloe Liese provides her characters with so much insight that you feel like you know them. You can tell that the medical issues in this book have been thoroughly researched and planned through to give an authentic representation which is one of the main consistencies with all of her novels.

I loved the overall premise of this novel and how the characters went out of their comfort zones to really get to know each other on their own time and without the involvement (mainly) of others. How it provides a positive notion on asking for help when you need it and surrounding yourself with a good support system. This novel really hit home about how important it is to be able to open yourself to the people you love. And Axel and Rooney’s love story provides you with a whole lot of that mixed with a little bit of steam.

Chloe’s characterisation has left me unable to decide whether I want to date a Bergman or be adopted by them.

Can’t wait for the next books in the series!

With You Forever by Chloe Liese is the fourth book in the Bergman Brothers series and I don’t think I’ve ever loved a fictional family more. Returning to their world and getting to watch a different relationship unfold each time is an absolute JOY.

Fans of the books have been waiting (im)patiently for Axel and Rooney’s story since Liese hinted at it in Always Only You, and it’s finally here!

One of the (many, many) things I love about the series is that each book has different tropes and different kinds of representation - in this case, Axel is autistic and Rooney is chronically ill - because everyone deserves a love story if they want one.

An unexpected marriage of convenience forces Axel and Rooney to confront their feelings for each other (feelings? What feelings?), but it also gives them space to acknowledge being a little lost and figuring out what’s next. Axel is isolated and artistically blocked, while Rooney is reeling from being forced to take a medical leave from law school. Axel’s love for the A-frame and his determination to care for the people closest to him in his own way is beyond swoony, and their quiet love story in the woods with hikes and twinkle lights and small children being adorable and cinnamon rolls and rescue pets is so special.

If you haven’t picked up this series yet, I seriously can’t recommend it enough. I’m already beyond excited to read Oliver’s story next year!

I have read all of the books in this series, and was slightly disappointed with the last one.
This one MORE than made up for it. It was an absolute joy to read. This authors writing is simply beautiful in the way she can describe her characters and make them come to life. Dealing with both the hero and heroines differences was challenging and much different than the norm. I also enjoyed the Swedish aspect , of course. And the yearning. All of the yearning. A great slow burn romance. I loved it. Thank you to netgalley for the arc.

I am enjoying this series in general, but this was my least favorite of the four so far. There was a lot of repetition in this one as well as a lot of long sections of monologuing. However I am reading it primarily for the rep and cast of characters, which I continue to enjoy. For people who want an easy read it will be enjoyable, as well as disabled readers who wish to see themselves on the page.

It is a 4 book from series and it is yet another amazing love story. I loved it how yet again author shows us a person with flaws and shows us that that person could be loved. Amazing slow-burn romance that I enjoyed reading every page of.
I volunteered to review an ARC of this book for NetGalley

All the stars for this book. Chloe can do no wrong for me and somehow each book has gotten better than the last. Like, seriously, how talented is this woman???

I loved everything about it-but especially the following:
-Forced proximity
-Marriage of convenience
-Steam and oh, the pining
-Grumpy hero
-Chronic illness representation
-Autism representation
-A wonderful dog and a cat
-A stoned minister
-Supportive friends and family

My heartfelt thanks for Chloe Liese writing characters for everyone so beautifully and masterfully and to NetGalley for allowing me the chance to read and review this arc.

Make sure you pre-order this and if you’ve been sleeping on reading any of the Bergman brothers and sisters please do yourself a favor and dive in - you will not be disappointed.

So…I’m gonna need a formal apology from Chole. It was so rude how she decided to toy with my emotions like that! It took me 2 days to read this and I was a mess the entire time. I read it at work 🙄 which I hate. Cause I just wanted to lose my 💩 in peace and not risk getting fired😂😂😂

Ugh!!! I loved it! This one was a warm hug full of very complex emotions. It felt like I’ve been waiting for this story for centuries and now it’s here and it did not disappoint. Rooney and Axel seemed like a very one dimensional Sunshine/Grump situation,at first, but they did not come to play. With very complicated feelings of inadequacy that threatened their happiness this one was an emotional ride. We get Autism rep and IBS rep and it follows in the Bergman Brothers tradition of being a sloooooow burn romance. Which I’m here for.

I do, however, think we need a With You Forever 2.0 because there was so much left unanswered. Although maybe it could be answered in Oliver’s book but I don’t know, I wouldn’t want that. We wouldn’t steal Ollie’s moment like that. Besides, I feel like Oliver’s story is gonna be an emotional ride for the ages.

Law student Rooney is having a rough time, when her best friend offers her the use of the Bergman family's cabin in rural Washington. Some R&R in a peaceful setting might be just what she needs to recuperate. But when she arrives from LA, she literally runs into the one person she's been avoiding--Axel Bergman, oldest brother and secret crush.

Artist Axel has been doing his best not to think about Rooney. Not to paint her. Not to relive their accidental kiss during a family game of charades. So the last thing he needs is Rooney staying in his one-room cabin while the family A-frame is undergoing emergency repairs. Repairs that he can only afford if he claims an inheritance by...getting married.

A delightful forced-proximity and marriage of convenience romance between a woman who's hiding some important medical information from the people in her life, and a man who's chosen to live in the woods because people are too complicated to deal with. Plus a persistent stray dog, an adorable kitten, and assorted friends and family who are determined to help these two find their happily ever after.

Thanks to Netgalley, the publisher, and the author for the ARC to review. All opinions are my own.

Chloe Liese is one of my favorite authors, and her Bergmans series is one of my all-time favorite romance series. Needless to say, With You Forever was one of my most anticipated reads for 2021. I squealed with glee when I realized I got to read an arc of it!!

I’ve been waiting for Rooney and Axel’s book with bated breath. I couldn’t wait to see how Liese was going to write their love story. She didn’t disappoint. This book was everything I wanted and more.

This book has everything you could want! Sunshine and grump trope? Check. Slow-burn romance? Check. Marriage of convenience? Check. Swoonworthy romance? Check. Witty banter? Check. Great representation? Check. Seriously, what else could you ask for in a romance book?

Oh yeah, nothing.

Once I started this book, I struggled to put it down. I’m not kidding. I read it on my lunch break because working instead of reading was slowly killing me. Rooney and Axel’s romance was nothing short of beautiful. They formed such a strong friendship which then turned into a romantic relationship. Everything felt natural between them. I adore them. They understand each other on a deeper level and never judge each other.

One of my favorite things about this series and Liese’s writing is the representation. Her characters are diverse and written exceptionally well. So far in this series, there has been loss of hearing rep, anxiety rep, (ownvoices) autism rep, chronic IBD rep, curvy rep, and rheumatoid arthritis rep. As usual, Liese knocked it out of the park with the representation in this book. Liese wrote Rooney’s character arc beautifully. Throughout this book, we watch Rooney learn to accept that IBD is part of her life, and we see her become comfortable talking about it instead of being embarrassed. The same goes for Axel; he had grown comfortable in his ways and with his autism diagnosis. Axel had convinced himself that he couldn't have a meaningful romantic relationship with anyone. He thought he was better off alone.

I could go on and on about this book and this series, but I’ll end this review by saying everyone needs to check out this book. You’ll love it.

With You Forever - Chloe Liese

This book was an absolute JOY to read. This is truly why I read. I cried all throughout this book, I laughed, I had heart eyes... I fell IN LOVE with these characters, more than I thought possible.

Obviously I love the Bergman Brothers and Chloe Liese but she continually impresses me 😍

With You Forever follows Axel and Rooney. Axel is a Bergman brother and Rooney is Willa’s (from the first book) best friend. Rooney has ulcerative colitis, and has had a flare up and needs somewhere to stay to get away. She plans to take a solo vacation at the Bergman family’s A frame cottage, only to find out it’s unliveable and needs major construction done. She ends up staying in Axel’s small home, while Axel sleeps in a tent.

There is a marriage of convenience between Axel and Rooney and the story goes from there! I loved the side characters of Parker, Bennett, and Skyler. I loved their pets Harry and Skuggy. I loved the cozy vibes. I loved slowly watching their relationship develop and watching them open up to each other. I loved the autism and chronic illness representation. I loved diving back into this world and falling in love all over again.

Chloe, what are you doing to me? You have thrusted upon me a surly, guarded Axel mixed with the vibrant, humor filled Rooney. My heart didn’t stand a chance. This author has a magnificent way of marrying both emotion that is filled with substance and humor. Her characters are unlike anyone I have ever seen in a contemporary romance. She carefully crafts unique people that leave a lasting impression and provides representation and topics that are typically not covered. Her words pull you into the story and completely take over all your senses and fully immerse you into the story.

This is a book that takes an honest look at the intricacies of human emotions, when it’s hard to express them, and how to grow from them. I think what I enjoyed the most was that the author had two polar opposite characters each struggling with their own internal conflicts grow in a way that she only could write.

The emotional tolls of how a disease that most people fully don’t understand was depicted in a way that makes the reader feel connected to the characters and fully understand what it’s truly like to be in their shoes. There’s care and consideration that is evident with their thoughts and dialogue that the author took her time to ensure the representation was authentic.

For as much as I enjoyed Axel and Rooney, there was a huge part of the book I missed. The little presence from the Bergman clan left a void in the story and left me craving more than what was given. I wanted more of the hijinx, meddling, and sibling annoyance that the other books had. Also, I felt this book was unfinished. I was left with many questions that I felt didn’t get addressed.

Overall I think this was a solid addition to the series that brought its own unique flare. The multidimensional characters and exceptional writing style only gets better with each book. The author reinvented a classic trope by giving it a deeper meaning and once again showing there’s so much more to romance books then people realize. Thank you to NetGalley and Victory Editing for this ARC.

This book oh man! It was so good!!! It was so inclusive and real. Her writing just immediately sucks you in. You immediately fall in love with Rooney and you know some how Axel is gonna make you love him, throw in marriage of convenience, forced proximity, kinda “enemies” to lovers, and this book was a dream boat. Bring on more of the Bergman bros because I’m here for it.

This was a great romance that had some marvelous representation of autism. I found this to be a lighthearted, but also very deep, romance between two characters who are madly in love but don't always know how to confess their feelings. Axel and Rooney hold a special place in my heart now. Thank you for the e-arc.

Chloe Liese is officially on my “must read authors” list. I adored “Always Only You” so when I got the chance to review this next book in the Bergman Brothers series I was thrilled.

This book delivered 100%!

A modern take on the “marriage of convenience” trope, this book tackles issues of mental health, chronic illness and neurodivergence gracefully and kindly all while creating a scorchingly romantic story. The backdrop of a loving and caring family, funny while supportive friends and a cast of clever animals helps temper the “tragic backstory” aspects. A plot where the protagonists have real-world struggles that are handled practically and not used as a substitute for character development is such a refreshing experience.

I could write about how great this book is forever, so to avoid spoilers: just add it to your TBR list right now!

Not my favorite of the series, but I did enjoy it. I really like when author's address real world issues in romcoms, because it makes them seem less idealized (though it is still a romance!). I will continue to read the series as it comes out most certainly!
