The only problem I have with Chloe Liese is having to wait so long in between her books! I was sooo glad to get approved for this, as I was dying for Rooney and Axels story, so thank you to Victory Editing. As always, Liese knocked it out of the park. She gives stories with real people and real issues, that aren't just quickly and easily resolved. I loved the drawn out slow burn and Axel and Rooney finally admitting their feelings together, of course after they are already married. It had a good pace, even though I was dying for their get together to happen sooner! I loved that the whole romance isn't just a glamorous portrayal of two perfect people. Axel struggles with showing and understanding feelings due to his autism and Rooney was dealing with a chronic illness that greatly impacted her life. It makes it all more relatable. Liese leaves enough sprinkled in to leave you dying for the next story, so I can't wait to see Oliver's story and what was causing his turmoil in "With You Forever."

Ahh, Axel and Rooney. These two lost souls tore my heart out and then stitched it back together. This book celebrates a gentle love that makes you feel safe to be yourself and love the best way you know how.

I adored the IBD rep. As someone with an autoimmune disease that affects my stomach, I could relate so much to Rooney and her bathroom escapades. I also highly appreciated the autism rep in Axel, especially all of his self-reflection and discovery.

The book made me literally laugh out loud, tear up, and say "aww" more times that I can count.

Tropes:
Grump/sunshine
Forced Proximity
Fake Marriage

“He’s serious. And quite possibly very shy. Not everyone is as social as you and me.”

“Why not? I don’t get it.”

Glancing over my shoulder, I watch Axel adjusting his cuffs, clearing his throat. He looks nervous. “I don’t either. But that doesn’t mean we can’t try.”

You know that feeling of drinking the perfect cup of coffee? The first sip hits your tongue and you almost shudder at the pleasure. The entire cups feels like pure contentment and the last drop tastes like more? That’s how it felt sinking into Chloe Liese latest novel.

With You Forever tells the story of the grumpy, eldest Bergman brother, Axel and the brainy, beautiful, ray of sunshine, Rooney. We’ve glimpsed these two before and now we get to see the sparks fly in this contemporary romance marriage of convenience.

Chloe’s characters are unmatched in their authenticity. They are human, flawed and all the lovelier for it. I keep thinking I could bump into any one of them on the street {fingers crossed for Ren!} Rooney & Axel’s story in particular is based on honesty and overflows with attentiveness and devotion. I wasn’t sure how the arranged marriage trope would fair in modern times but Chloe’s writing of it was note perfect.

Thank you to NetGalley & Chloe Liese for this ARC in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.

With You Forever is available for pre-order and is out Sept 14th, 2021.

“It’s exactly what I want. You’re everything I want, and I’ll do whatever it takes to make life together possible. I love you more than I’ll ever be able to say, Rooney, but it’s no less true.”

I've adored (and inhaled!) every single Bergman Brothers book by Chole Liese. With You Forever follows Axel and Rooney, and it just might be my favorite one yet!

Axel is a quiet, outdoorsy guy who prefers to paint in peace. Rooney is a loud extrovert who needs some one-on-one time in nature. After escaping to the Bergman's A-frame for a solo staycation, Rooney stumbles into Axel, and sparks fly.

I love a story when two people are doing everything they can to deny their feelings for each other. There is lightening between Axel and Rooney, but neither want to nor think they should acknowledge it. The marriage of convenience is a fun storyline that only increases the delicious slow-burn between these two.

As always, Chloe writes stunning characters with disabilities but does so in an incredible and honoring way. Life is messy and beautiful and hurtful and soothing and the reader will get all of that, plus more, in With You Forever.

This is the fourth book in the Bergman Brothers series but can be read as a stand-alone. However, I strongly recommend reading the series from the beginning in order to appreciate the Bergman family dynamics.

This is my favorite of The Bergman Brothers books so far! I loved grumpy Axel and sunshine Rooney. I also loved the marriage of convenience trope. What I loved:

-Autism rep (own voices)
-Chronic Illness Rep
-Skylar (so adorable)
-Loved that the setting of this book was the A Frame and Washington
-Marriage of convenience
-Harry & Skugga

I requested this book so fast! I fell in love with the Bergman family in book 3, went back and read the first two books, and loved this book too. I love a marriage of convenience story and I love a big family. This was a little bit of a slow burn--I thought there would be an "only one bed" scenario immediately! That said, the slow burn worked, and I felt like we really got to know these characters both separately and as a couple. Add in the pets and I'm sold! Chloe Liese does a great job writing chronically ill and neurodivergent characters, and I hope to see characters who are diverse in other ways in future books. I'm really looking forward to the next one.

Another fun edition to the Bergman family As always, a nice balance of humor, lightness, sizzle, and heart. Recommend the whole series! Rooney and Axel were delightful.

With You Forever follows sunshine incarnate, Rooney Sullivan, and gorgeous grump, Axel Bergman as they navigate a dilapidated family A-frame, secret marriage of convenience, and typical Bergman family meddling. Rooney and Axel are genuine and complex characters that learn and grow together throughout the story. They push each other to be brave, without them even realizing it. With You Forever is filled with the slow burn and tender moments that Chloe is so good at crafting that left me full of feelings and heart flutters. I appreciate how dedicated and respectful Chloe is at making sure she does the research when creating her characters, and that love and respect seeps through onto the page. I do wish that the Bergman family realized how much Axel had done to the A frame out of love for them, and that they realized Axel and Rooney were married. I was so happy to see another Bergman Brother's Summit where they all came together to help Axel and Rooney get their happily ever after. In short, I loved this installment in the Bergman sibling series, and as always, I cannot wait for the next one!

I'm not sure i have ever hit the "Request"! button so fast before now. I am borderline obsessed with the Bergman Family... but please don't ask me to pick a favorite member, because that is not a hill I want to die on (unless Ryder is there. or Axel. or Dr. B.... or.... someone stop me. there are still so many family members)

It 's not often (or ever) that I read a series and a) enjoy every installment released or b) love each subsequent book more than its predecessor... yet here I am.

Chloe Liese writes books that quite frankly just move me. With You Forever was a love story in more ways than one. There were elements of platonic love, familial love, romantic love, and self love. They were all explored with such gentleness and authenticity. Axel.... **fans face with hand** he is quite a character. I think what I loved most about Axel was that his grumpiness was so endearing. Yes, he was a grump but he was never cruel or mean-spirited. I loved his candor and honesty.

Rooney. really grew on me in this book. I never had much of an opinion of her from previous books other than seeing her as Willa's friend. I don't know why but I imagined her to be flighty and sort of unpredictable - it's safe to say I do not see her in that light any more. If I had to describe the relationship between Rooney and Axel in one word it would be, "tender." The way they care for each other and attend to the others' needs is just so lovely.

With You Forever is another beautiful story by Chloe Liese filled with love, acceptance, and advocacy. Chloe Liese has a true gift of writing characters who encourage us to dig deeper. I love that her characters are not seen as problems to be fixed, rather mysteries to be solved and hearts deserving to be loved. I'm not one to highlight in my e-reader or underline quotes I want to return to. UNTIL NOW. There were so many inspired lines and moments in With You Forever that I found myself wanting to make note of them so I could circle back again later. Even after receiving an ARC of the book, I have preordered it and I'm already anticipating reading it again when it is officially released!

This book will definitely be worth the wait!

Thank you to NetGalley, Chloe Liese, and Victory Editing NetGalley Co-op for the ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review.

'With You Forever' is the fourth book in Chloe Liese's Bergman Brothers series, and it features probably the most enigmatic of the siblings, Axel, and Willa's ever-present BFF, Rooney.
When Chloe announced this pairing would be the couple for book 4, I was beside myself with excitement. The sexual tension and attraction from these two goobers has been an underlying theme in the first three books so I was excited to see how it would play out.
It's trope-tastic and an EPIC slow burn... We have a modern day marriage of convenience, opposities attract, sunshine & grump love story.
Rooney jumps at the chance to make use of the infamous Bergman A-Frame cottage in Washington state while she sorts out her life and tries to figure out what suits her best as she's going in and out debilitating pain from her UC/IBD chronic illness. Willa lets her know it's not being used. It of course coincides with Axel's alloted time, even though he has his own home on the property - which he is using to do some MAJOR and necessary renovations. Finding himself in dire need of a major cash influx, and having been unable to paint his "normal" kind of art thanks to an impromptu charades kiss from Rooney months prior - safe to say, Axel is a little off kilter. Enter, Rooney.

Just when I think Chloe has peeled back enough layers of my heart & soul, she comes in with a story like Ax & Roo. This book is a BEAUTIFUL story about how two people, who are so wildly different in life but are not only compatible physically (thanks to their long-suffering attraction to one another that of course the other doesn't know about), but emotionally and mentally. For every misstep they think they make, the other meets them there and essentially says "I get it. I hear you. I understand you." and while Axel isn't entirely sure he believes it, he wants to, and has never wanted to, until Rooney.

Axel admits to Rooney that he is autistic - Rooney shares all of her "unsexy" IBD issues and her chronic pain. Neither shy away from their exposing realities and instead they decide how to coexist and meet their partner where they need them. They don't get it right, right away. But the payoff is deliciously sweet and I of course cried. Again and again.

Many thanks to the author & NetGalley for the opportunity to read this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

What a delight to get to know the Axel Bergman we only got glimpses of in the other Bergman Brothers books!

His life as a fine art painter on the spectrum, hiding himself away on his family's well-worn but beloved A-frame getaway property, His attempts to make expensive upgrades to the main house and restore it as a legacy for the entire family by doing something he never thought he was capable of: fulfilling the terms of an inheritance through a temporary marriage to the one woman he's ever deeply cared about..

This is such a soft, warm, intimate romance, nestled within the Bergman world full of affection, acceptance and love.. It's a must read for all who love the Bergman family!

This was a great romance. Another great, stand alone addition to a series that has been satisfying from the start. These two characters made themselves vulnerable in such honest ways that it's near impossible not fall for both of them separately and then together. There's an undeniable spark and chemistry between them but they become friends first even with that simmering tension. I also enjoyed the other characters in this story that help guide these two and the interesting setting and the way this author unraveled the two of them with this engaging plot. The marriage-of-convenience trope can often feel cliched or over done but Chloe Liese made her story fresh and one for which everyone can find a way to relate and feel attached. This author makes unconventional choices in her stories with her great characters that opens readers hearts and minds to a more unique set of values and understandings to explore. Her writing allows the space to feels completely comfortable in stories. This book is serious but simple and definitely romantic. It's different and interesting and a definite winner for romance lovers.

(PUB date 9.14) I’ve made no secret of my undying affection for Berman Brothers series. So the moment free ARC of 𝗪𝐈𝐓𝐇 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑 (Berman Brothers #4) was approved I threw all other responsibilities (and books) aside to read Rooney (sunshine) and Axel (grumps) love story via a marriage of convenience. ⁣

It was so.good! This could be my new favorite of the series. I have a soft spot for Willa and Ryder (𝘖𝘕𝘓𝘠 𝘞𝘏𝘌𝘕 𝘐𝘛’𝘚 𝘜𝘚 #𝟷), but the latest installment could dethrone them. ⁣

I am searching for the best way to convey how much I enjoyed these characters and their story. As I was reading, I felt like I was hooked up to a medical cocktail comprised of all my favorite things. I was just so darn happy. ⁣

What I love about this series is Chloe is an #ownvoices author and includes underrepresented, neurodiverse characters. With You Forever includes autism and chronic illness (IBS) rep. But even more than that she confirms the belief that everyone deserves to be understood and loved. And. . . communication. Rooney and Axel actually talk to each other and it's so refreshing! ⁣

PLUS: ⁣
* Spotify Playlists: Each chapter starts with a song that is linked to each chapter. All 4 are part of my regular rotation⁣
* Compulsively readable. ⁣
* Steam- Slow burn with a delectable angsty pining. 🍆🍆🍆🍆 ⁣
* As soon as I turn the last page I immediately go back to my favorite passages because I'm never quite done with the Bergman's. ⁣

I cannot wait for my paperback copy to arrive on pub day.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Thank you to Chloe Liese (and NetGalley) for letting me read this book.
I had to stop everything to read this. Having read the first three in the series I was excited to see if Liese could keep up the momentum and the awww moments, and I was not disappointed.
Each time I'm with the Bergman family, I just feel so unbelievably happy. They have their issues like everyone else, but they know what's important in life and will do whatever they can to keep it.
Axel and Rooney are the same. Nestled in the cabin in the woods, we see their relationship forming, and it's simply beautiful. We learn about ulcerative colitis and how it impacts your life, and we learn about Axel, and that it's okay to be an introvert, you still deserve love.
(The animals, the sketches, the paintings, the Uncle's letter... have tissues handy).
This series is a must read, cannot recommend it more.

Thanks @netgalley for this ARC!

With You Forever é o quarto livro da série Bergman Brothers.

I really love the Bergman series, and this one continued to be just as swoony, heartwarming, and as sexually frustrating as the first two books. At the same time, this book is the very definition of hygge.

I received this book as an ARC from Netgalley for an honest review.

I loved so much about this book. I really adored the side characters Bennett, Parker, Skyler, Sarah at the grocery store and the pets! They were all so charming, fun comic relief, and great sounding boards for the main characters.

As always, the entire Bergman family was a welcome sight. I love seeing updates on everyone and how the family interacts. ❤️ But, there were some moments I needed more to these interactions. For example, when Axel lets his mom and dad see a painting of his, we only know that Elin cries after. We don’t know what the painting is of, what Elin says to Axel when she seems it, nothing.

The friendship between Rooney and Willa is great. And Chloe did an awesome job building that foundation in book one. But she makes a huge deal about Rooney lying to Willa in regards to her being married to Axel several times in the book. It feels like a huge build up to a conflict between the two that is never resolved because it doesn’t happen.

Axel and Rooney’s love story is so sweet and truly makes my heart ache with sweetness. There is so much soft and snuggly moments in this book. But it takes over so much of the characters that some of their own personalities are lost.

The scene setting in this book is so dreamy and wonderful that it makes me want to move to an A-frame in PNW. 😻

Overall I really liked this book and would recommend! I just need more to this story, which is not a bad thing.

I can't understand how Chloe Liese manages to make each character so unique and perfect.
.
In this series of the Bergman Brothers, each character is so different and so unique that they give each love story a different rhythm and color.
.
Axel appears in the other books as the serious and reserved older brother, little by little we see how his brothers suspect that he is neurodivergent like Ziggy the youngest of the Bergman. But it is not until this book that allows the reader to get inside his head and see how he opens up to Rooney, that we can understand him.
Each person is different and that is even more true with people on the Autism spectrum, and it is so well portrayed in this book.
.
Rooney is the brightest and most energetic character in the entire series with Willa but in this book we can see the other side that she always keeps hidden and thanks to Axel she discovers that it is okay not to be okay and that you doesn't always have to be perfect and you can lean on some one
.
It is a book of love, trust and companionship in one of my favorite tropes, fake relationship, marriage of convenience set in a beautiful cabin in the mountains with the golden colors of autumn
.
So far my favorite book was "Always only you" number two in this series but I think this one surpasses it by far, and I can't wait to read the next one.
.
Warning, each book can be read like a standalone but you are going to want to read the entire series, the Bergman family is a one way road and you are going to fall in love with them
.
Thanks to Victory Editing and Chloe Liese for give me the opportunity of reading this amazing book, I enjoyed it so much

AlI could say when I received approval for this book was, thank goodness it’s school holidays, I work from home, and we can’t really go anywhere as we are all but in lockdown. It left me plenty of time to read … and read I did.

I must be one of the last loving souls on bookstagram to have not read a Chloe Liese book but I have to say, With You Forever got me good! Shout out to authors who can write connected books that easily standalone without you feeling completely lost. I also feel I can go back and read the previous books in the series without feeling as if the whole plot has been spoiled.

With You Forever gently tells the story of Rooney and Axel. Axel is the oldest Bergamon brother and Rooney is connected to the Bergamon family through Willa (another brother’s girlfriend). Axel is 30 and a neurodiverse sweetheart. Rooney had a chronic illness but it’s not declared to all who love her. The couple have been in each other’s sights for some time and there’s some gentle meddling afoot with family who perhaps see a future when Axel and Rooney have been oblivious. Axel and Rooney find themselves spending time together unexpectedly and whilst neither are initially happy about it, make things work due to their own sets of circumstances .

Think close proximity, fake marriage, my brother’s girls friends best friend scenarios. This book just works. From the magical setting, to the robust characters, and their magic and chemistry together. To their figuring things out and their tender exploration of each other’s needs and wants.

I want all the Axel’s in the world to find their Rooney’s. The world would be a better place.

Thank you to netgalley for providing me the opportunity to read this book … and have my work productivity sucked completely out of me for the day!

I was breathless, I was aching, I felt every single emotion that brewed between Axel and Rooney in this incredibly gentle and touching novel. There is humor, there is sexual tension (that about killed me!), but what puts this book on a plane of its own are the layers, the scars, the intense vulnerabilities of these two amazing characters. This was such an intimate story, so beautifully written that I read passages over and over to capture the nuances of their words, their passion, their fears, their desires. This is the fourth book in the Bergman Brothers series, and I’ve loved them all, but this one reached deep into the crevasses of my heart.

Every single time I read one of the Bergman Brothers books, I'm like "this is my favorite one!". So let me start there, this is my *favorite* one. The chemistry in this one is perfect and I seriously just love this fictional family so much. Axel, the most reserved Bergman Bro, is in a tight situation at the beginning of this book. Rooney, best friend to Willa, is not faring too well with her chronic illness and is looking for a place to take pause. Willa offers up the Bergman family A-Frame, knowing that it is NOT her and Ryder's turn for the house but it is Axel's turn. Rooney and Axel make an interesting agreement and along the way, the dog gets named and a kitten gets picked up.
This was heartwarming and I forced myself to slow down reading it so I could enjoy it for longer!

Thank you to Netgalley and Victory Editing Netgalley Co-op for this ARC ebook in exchange for an honest review! I will be posting on my bookstagram as soon as I am done posting this! The post can be found at: instagram.com/nodistancebooks and I will also be reviewing on Goodreads!
