I LOVED THIS BOOK, to be fair it was from Suzanne Wright, and the Dark in You series is one of my favorites but i have been waiting to read Rainis story and this did not disappoint Maddox became a fast favorite character even with all his secrets you could tell he cared and something was holding him back not to give too much away, i also love that we got to see more to rainis succubus powers than just sex she is one powerful demon!!, one thing Suzanne can always do in her books is mention he next book characters somewhere in the book and then instantly makes you want to devour the next one!! Viper series i cannot wait for all in all Excellent book i have reread it at least 5 times by now

As usual an amazing novel written by Suzanne Wright. I can't wait for a new one to be published and I can't stop reading till the end once I have started.
The paranormal world she creates is rich and the characters are hilarious.
She never disappoints her readers.
I am already waiting impatienly for her next book !

Have been looking forward to this one since it was revealed that Raini and Maddox are anchors. More so because of what Maddox is and what he represents. I knew Raini would be another special one. All the girls are.

SO did I devour it the moment I received it? Hell Yeah!
I don't think you can ever go wrong with Suzanne Wright.

And honestly, they were great together. They did complement each other in many ways. I love how Wright always adds nuances to her characters, that makes the reading all the more interesting. I knew I have a grin on my face most of the times the imps are in attendance, which to my peers seems borderline maniac.

I just have teeny tiny little problem which stopped me from giving such a well thought out world and plot five stars.

It struck me somewhere in the middle that I was reading Raini and Maddox for the first time, yet it seemed in a way more familiar. It didn't begin that way. No. But it was starting to feel that way.
I realized something then that though Wright's characters were knew and had their own nuances, sometimes their character traits and process of thinking emerged familiar. Which is not a big thing. Hell No. I like the way they think. Its just I am big on distinguishing characters through their traits. And I guess since I have read ALL the books by her, to me it just feels that way. BUT I COULD EASILY OVERLOOK IT. IT DIDN'T TAKE AWAY ANYTHING FROM THE PLOT ITSELF FOR ME.

Anyhooo soooo, I WOULD 100 PERCENT RECOMMEND. Life would be utterly boring without these characters in my life.

Fallen gave me the same feeling when I first read Burn. I loved how unique Maddox character was. The chemistry between Raini and Maddox was very well writer!. Overall this book was great read!

This one is probably one of my favorites in this series. Raini is such a badass and a fun character to read about. I love her no-nonsense attitude and her interactions with the other characters. Maddox was also a great character to see more of. I wasn’t sure how I felt about him when we met him in earlier books but I grew to like him. A great addition to the series and one I’ll reread again.

This is by far my favorite in the Dark in You series. You could feel the chemistry of Maddox and Raini. Expected the unexpected.

Suzanne Wright is always a 5 star for me. And this one was no different. I loved Maddox and Raini, the way they are together, the way they protect their friends and lairs. It’s always fun to see the previous characters and check in how they’re doing. I absolutely can’t wait for the next book.

As always another brilliant addition to this series. With fantastic and funny characters and great world building. I've really loved learning about all the different characters we've already learned to love from previous books. This book focuses on raini and maddox with secrets on both sides to be revealed that wasn't expected. I won't go into much more detail as I don't like dropping spoilers but this is definately a good read.

Loved the story of Maddox and Raini. Their chemistry was so good. Very strong female characters. Loved Raini's Dad! Hilarious

Loved it. One of my faves in the series. I even went on the by the audiobook. This is a book I could read again and again.

Suzanne does it again!!! I have read everything she has written and this was my favorite! She surprised me with Raini’s abilities, it’s something that has been kept secret throughout the series. I also love the new character introductions, I can’t wait to see what happens next for them!

Raini and Maddox were pure fire and heat. The push and pull of their relationship—Raini was the perfect match for Maddox and it was so fun to read! I also loved the introduction of the whole new set of characters with Viper and his crew. Overall, Suzanne Wright always has a hit with me every time in this series with heart, humor, heat and a great suspense element :)

To say that Maddox has won me away from Knox is a HUGE deal! I freaking love Knox but Maddox takes the whole broody alpha male to the next level.

Raini and Maddox’s relationship is complex but oh so hot! She is spunky versus Maddox who brings the darkness to the max.

Fans of this series will die over this addition to the series!

I received this book for an honest review and all I can say is buy it you will not be disappointed, in fact I haven't read a book by this author I didn't love.

I have been dying to read Raini and Maddox’s story ever since we found out they were anchors and the wait was a little torturous but for sure worth it! Fallen had a bit of chill start and the romance between Raini and Maddox felt like a slow burn, but there was still intensity and interesting things happening. I loved how this world expanded and I’m really looking forward to seeing what it all will bring to the series going forward or maybe perhaps in another series (but I know nothing, just hopeful thinking). That aside, I really loved Fallen, it was funny and exciting and just another wonderful book from Suzanne Wright! I can’t wait for Levi’s book next!

Sweet baby Jesus… You know how OBSESSED I am with this series ( all time fav PNR), and how Knox is my all time fav PNR book boyfriend?! We’ll I’ll be damned! Maddox left me speechless! That’s right, he is now up THERE, side by side with the Alpha powerhouse that Knox is, because is alllllllll that! Dear lord, look at these chills just thinking about it…. * fans herself*
I can’t rave enough about this Dark In You series, but Ms. Wright truly outdid herself with Maddox and Raini’s story.
I’m truly obsessed and hooked by every word of this deliciously addictive adventure. The epitome of Paranormal Romance, I tell you!

Let me start by saying I've long been a fan of both this series and author, but this is by far my favorite installment of the Dark In You Series. If you've read the previous books in the series (if you haven't and read this as a standalone - FULL STOP FOLKS!! Why are you reading this review ?! GO READ THE OTHER BOOKS NOW!!!! No judgement, but COME ON people - let's get it together!!) you're familiar with Raini finding her anchor Maddox and promising him a favor she won't share with the gals. Ooooo la la - right?? Spoiler alert!! It's actually not that scandalous, which is part of the reason I loved this story. Raini and Maddox's relationship feels as if it organically develops throughout the book, is never rushed in the telling, or duplicative in nature to the other books in this series. Suzanne Wright writes (haha - that made me giggle) in such a vivid way, that you can visualize every word, page, and chapter as if you were watching it unfold on the big screen. Oh and the sex is always hot as hell, but I will add there seemed to be slightly more depth in the emotions expressed by both Raini and Maddox in their sex scenes then between Khloe and Keenan in Omens (although Khloe is a hoot).

Overall, highly recommend this book and author!

Once again, Suzanne Wright has blown me away. This book was everything I had hoped for for Raini and Maddox. Raini was delightful, sneaky, and had more secrets than what I thought. Maddox was deliciously sinful, hot, and so, so powerful.

The great thing about Suzanne's books is how completely novel the creature-building is - this book just adds to that. I'm hoping the introduction to all of these creatures that we've been getting in the last several books will build gateways to spin-off series. For now, I'm super curious about Levi's book ;)
