This is my second favorite world that Wright has built, but this can be read as a stand-alone. We meet Raini in book one as the main characters bestie and she was easy to fall in love with! I have been waiting so long to see her fall in love and find herself, I had no idea what was going to happen. This story is beautiful and I want more! Hopefully Wright will continue to give us stories of side characters in this series because I am obsessed.

I got an ARC from Netgalley for my honest review.
This book is amazing! I fell in love with Raini in other books and really enjoyed Maddox. He is a little like Knox in terms of how unique and powerful he is, but that is where the similarity ends. Maddox and Raini have to build a strong foundation of trust because both hold secrets. I like how the author effortlessly weaved in the building of the relationship among the overall conflict. The emotional connection is great and I loved the cameos from other characters. I highly recommend this book.

Continuation of great series, Fallen is the next book for admirers of Mrs. Wright talent or for newcomers (I think you can read it like a standalone, but is better to start with the first book in the series).
We were introduced to Maddox and Raini beginnings in one of the previous books, as they discovered their anchor connection. Maddox is dark, dangerous, and mysterious and a little bit of a bad boy. Raini has her own secrets and try to keep him on distance. Then suspense start: someone seems to be targeting Raini, try to hurt her and her business. We don't know who is the bad guy here, but we have few strong suspects. Maddox decides to enter Raini life for good and help her. Is it good idea?
I liked almost everything in this book, it was funny, interesting, hot. It was nice to be back in the demon world.
I received copy of the book from Netgalley.
I missed a little bit more angst in relationship between Raini and Maddox

Fallen is the seventh book in the wonderful Dark In You series. Here we have Raini and Maddox’s story. They have been mentioned in previous books, Maddox is a dark and dangerous prime and although Raini’s anchor he has not wanted to seal their link and always remained aloof and disinterested towards her.
Raini desperately needs his help, he agrees but not without large stipulations, she agrees and so their relationship begins. No spoilers but this development is wonderful. He is a really dominant alpha but Raini is no pushover and gives as good as she gets. A strong woman who has secrets of her own they become a powerful pair.
We meet all the great characters from the previous books and some new ones that I think we’ll be hearing from in the future, I hope so anyway!
As usual this is a cracking story full of action, excitement and also the humour we’ve come to expect.
Some very dark moments and characters which make this a read that transports you into this preternatural land.
Another winner from this highly readable author. My thanks to net galley and publisher for the opportunity to review this book honestly.

Congratulations Suzanne Wright, Fallen was amazing! I can't get enough of Maddox and Raini. (I read it 3 times😂) I really love🥰 the flow of the story. It was able to capture my attention right away and keep it throughout the entire story. It never dragged, I never lost interest. I also love the introduction of some new characters, especially Viper🔥.
(I really hope that the Black Saints will get their own series😍)
I love Knox, I really do, he is still my favorite but Maddox has now a special place in my heart. He is powerful, dominant and cold. I love how he comes off as callous to others.
I also hope for more Maddox and Knox interactions😁.
As for Raini, I love how mysterious she is about her powers. I just wish I get to see more.
And that's another thing I love about Suzanne Wright's books, her females are strong. They have their own strength but do not come across as stubborn when it comes to their men. They have their own mind and the relationship between the H and h are not complicated.
Anyways, this is a must READ!👌🏻👍🏻 Another favorite and was so worth the wait 😊
And now I'm looking forward to Levi's story 🤗

Fallen, Raini and Maddox box in the Dark in You world, was worth the wait! Their dynamic was amazing and full of tension. I enjoyed that they're reasonable people who navigate their relationship with little drama and communicate well.
I loved how Maddox absolutely adored Raini - he's insanely alpha but also so sweet to her. Raini is the perfect partner for him - she's very supportive and understanding of his responsibilities and need to keep secrets for the safety of his people. Together they were a fantastic powerhouse who had each other backs completely.

Suzanne has written another fine book in the Dark in You series. I did find this book somewhat slower, not as much action, and more angst between Raini and Maddox as they navigated their anchor bond and learned to trust each other.
The supporting characters were superb as always, from Jolene on down. I do think Harper is getting more caustic now that she's a prime, not sure if it's the character development or what. She could tone it down a wee bit. But that's a minor flaw for me.
That being said, I did enjoy this book and am anxiously awaiting Levi's next year.
I received an ARC copy for a non-biased review.

I 💜 Raini. Another winner from Suzanne Wright
Fallen is the 7th book in the Dark in You series.
Definitely recommend starting at the beginning and reading all the books in order.
Paranormal romance, enemies to lovers, angels and demons. What more could you ask for!
I received an arc and devoured it in two days. I’ve also ordered a kindle copy and an audiobook copy which I can’t wait to listen to.
Raini is awesome. Love that she finally got her own book and we get to really meet her, her quiet strength and power. Raini’s family is amazing. Hope we get more from them. And I love the friendship she has with Harper,Devon and Khole. These ladies are a riot when they get together. Definitely provided some laugh out loud moments.
Maddox is the new guy. He forces his way into Raini’s life, he’s possessive and protective, he wants her but on his own terms. It’s fun to watch these two maneuver around each other. And when they finally come together, sparks definitely fly. Hot and sexy!
Can’t wait for more from this series.

5 AMAZING STARS
First, note that I have not only devoured this book once, but twice since I received it!
Move over Knox, Maddox is going to be standing next to you one my list of favorite over protective/possessive alphas. SW, whats a girl gotta do to get you to write 3 more books about this couple? I can't move on from these 4 crazy demon chicks.
Yes, I know there will be another book in the series, Levi I presume, but there won't be any more drunken nights with these ladies........Unless Levi's future mate becomes a close bestie!
Anyway, this story was so much more than I was expecting. Maddox and Raini are fucking incredible together. Their chemistry was off the charts. Their powers are amazing, seriously we all had to know that Raini was hiding some crazy abilities behind her cute submissive tones. But what she was hiding, I didn't see that coming!
This was the perfect addition to what is already an amazing series. I have to say, I'm not sure anyone can top Khloe's crazy ass for me, but Raini is right there close to her.
I won't spoil, but seriously the epilogue made me smile and want to shed a tear of joy. Just you wait guys. It will make you so happy!
If you haven't started this series you are missing out so much! No one write PNR like Suzanne Wright!

Suzanne Wright delivers another winner! As the 7th book in this paranormal demonic romance series, Wright has written yet another enjoyable book. Series readers have been waiting for Raini’s story, to learn what makes her tick and what her special powers are, and you can be assured that they were not disappointed. If you’re interested in a strong female character with a side of steamy encounters, read this book.
And while this book can be read as a standalone, starting at the beginning of the series will give a reader a better understanding of all the backstories and characters surrounding this storyline. Happy reading!

I had been looking forward to Rainey and Maddox’s story for ages and it was just as good as I’d hoped for! There is plenty of humour, action and steamy chemistry along with an introduction to Maddox’s intriguing new breed of demons - the Descendants . I’m really excited about future plot possibilities with the Descendants characters as well as new character Viper and his group. There are new enemies to defeat in the form of evil angels as well as other potential adversaries closer to home. I found this story utterly gripping from start to finish and was kept guessing right to the end about who was after Rainey. This is such a good series that always leaves me wanting more!

Reviewed on good reads and Amazon is pending. I loved this book. The plot the story. Everything. Suzanne never fails and I devoured the book in one day. Super excited for the next one ( I loved it so much I bought a copy as well )

I'd rate this 4.5 stars. I enjoyed this book and while I would normally easily rate it 5 stars, I took half a star off for reasons I'll outline below. I'll start by saying I really like this author and she's usually a one-click for me and that The Dark in You (particularly Books 1-3) are in my Favourites folder, being reread at least once a year. If I wasn't such a fan of this series and someone who drags the books out often, this would be a slam dunk 5 star read, however some elements of the writing seem a little formulaic and repetitive (I'll repeat again that I reread this series regularly, so some elements that most other readers probably wouldn't notice stood out to me because I can literally quote parts of the book). Not only are some of the writing elements every similar to other novels by the same author, some of the specific themes and details crop up again, making for a read that you might feel like you've experienced before if you're familiar with this work. I loved it and it was a very satisfying read, but there wasn't necessarily a lot of that new car smell. It's worth noting that the particular tropes and writing style present are this author's niche, what she's known for and how she sells so many books - you know what you're getting, which is also a positive.
* Quick note - while I haven't included any spoilers for this book, Fallen is part of a series therefore plot elements from other books are mentioned *
This book focusses on Raini and Maddox's story. If you haven't read the other books in the series, you can get away with reading this one as a standalone but it would definitely be preferable to start from the beginning (which, in my humble opinion, are where the best books in the series are to be found anyway). You might remember Maddox from a couple of the other novels in The Dark in You. A Descendant, aka a demon with fallen angel heritage, Maddox is secretive, dark and dangerous. He played a great minor role in the other books and his vibe was so good that I was chomping at the bit to get my hands on this book. And combined with Raini, a series favourite? A dynamite combination. When someone seems to be targeting Raini, both physically and at her place of work, her lair, along with Maddox, resolves to find and destroy the threat. On top of that, Descendant lairs are being completely annihilated. With his people possibly next on the hit list, Maddox is on alert as a new antagonist rises.
The book starts back at the previous installment where Khloe is at death's door and Maddox proposes an offer to Raini (the details of which were unknown but revealed in this story). We're told most of the conditions bar one which is dangled around for a maddening amount of time as the book skips ahead four months (unfortunately missing a little of their budding relationship).
What I loved: The main characters. Raini and Maddox were fantastic. He was everything this author excels at with male leads - strong, ruthless, extremely dominant, jealous and possessive. His particular type of demon was a great addition and I loved reading about his abilities and his lair (which he is the Prime of). Raini was also great, as she has been since the beginning of this series. We get to know more about her family and abilities and a I really like the love and support she has from Harper, Devon and Khloe. Speaking of which, it was great to revisit these characters and their partners. While they featured throughout the story, they didn't pop up in as detailed a manner as I expected. Not a negative, just an observation. I actually didn't mind this for the most part as it put Maddox and Raini front and centre. There was quite a bit of Jolene, however, so that's got to be a good thing, right? The relationship between the two was great and they complemented each other well. One of the few elements that seemed different in this book compared to other novels in the series (to me, anyway) was that Maddox was rougher in bed and had some more explicit dirty talk. This got two ticks from me :)
There are some new characters introduced in the form of fallen angels (of sorts). They were great and I look forward to more of them in the future. There was a good amount of action and drama and the start really grabbed me as a power-stealer was on the loose.
What caused me to drop half a star? Some repetition and minimal series development. Firstly, I loved Maddox, but he was virtually Knox in another demon form. He wasn't sure of the anchor bond at first, wasn't normally someone that was looking for commitment and was dark, deadly, highly sexual, emotionless and dangerous to everyone that isn't his significant other. No one questions his authority, he oozed confidence, etc. Raini was another female lead that was sweet while also having a vengeful streak. She was incredibly laid back about her abilities which were, of course, mega powerful, lethal and just all round amazeballs. This was emphasised often, making her very similar to the other main females in this series. As for the relationship between the two, there was the usual 'he's not the relationship type and this will only be temporary because that's all he's capable of' with the familiar 'I don't matter to you' cliche chucked in there to allow for the assertation that she is, in fact, very important.
This book had the female lead in serious danger, similar to the other heroines in these books with the alpha bad boy coming to the rescue. There are the usual suspects put forward as antagonists. Once again, there's a bitter sibling being passive aggressive and causing trouble as well as the equally bitter, catty Other Woman. We're given a male secondary character who had a crush on the female lead in the past who's cropped up again to cause more jealousy, drama and headaches. You can always count on this author for drama in spades.
Those familiar with the series will notice the repeated jokes, punchlines and shenanigans from the secondary characters, with Khloe and Raini's father taking centre stage here. A couple of incidents between Maddox and Raini also seemed similar to happenings between Harper and Knox. Both main characters have issues hovering in their past and present. For Raini, we have the bitter, jealous, resentful and catty sister mentioned above and her (the sister's) anchor as well as a secret ability linked to a past tragedy. For Maddox, it's a lair wary of newcomers and deceased family/lair members as well as a secret about their demons.
This author loves her adjectives and they're trotted out again with some familiar terms from the other books cropping up several times. A future book is somewhat set up with Levi discovering his anchor - not sure how I feel about this one, yet.
If I hadn't have read all of the other books, this would be an solid five star read - absolutely no doubt in my mind. While I loved the story, and the main characters, some of the repetition had me taking off half a star. I'll continue to pre-order and buy books in this series because they're an entertaining read and I'm loyal to The Dark in You - I just hope the continual, formulaic style doesn't eventually wear off the shine this series has for me.

I love Raini and Maddox!!! I love this whole freaking series! Each book is swoony, fun, and entertaining!
Can’t wait to read Levi’s story. And I’m hoping we get a spin-off series about Viper and his other Fallen brothers. 😊

SHE DID IT AGAIN!!!
OMG I can't even begin to explain how much I love Suzanne Wright's books! I started with the Phoenix Pack series some years ago when there were only 2 books out and I fell in love with it! Since then I have read every single book and I have loved them all, I can't reccomend it enough.
This book was incredible! I was really looking foward to Raini's story since we discovered who her anchor was. I was really curious how this story would play out.
From the beggining we know what was the deal made by Raini and Maddox for him to heal Khloe on the previous book. The conditions of that deal and some life circumstances throw them together and we watch as their relationship blossoms, even if Raini doesn't get why Maddox won't bond with her. At first I was really upset about this, but when I found out the reason behind this decision, it only made me love him because it was incredibly selfless of him.
I don't want to get into what happens in the book too much because I feel like everyone should just go in without any previous information, trust me you won't regret it. I will only say that I can't reccomend this book enough, it was truly incredible.
Raini and Maddox were awesome MCs and I loved their relationship, how they both respected each others limits and secrets because they knew the other one couldn't tell the secret without betraying other people.
I also really enjoyed Raini's reaction when she finally found out Maddox's secret and his reaction to her finding out was soooo awesome too!!
All in all I just LOVED this book and I seriously CANNOT WAIT for the next one in this series. At this point I'm so invested that I don't even know which book I want next, I just want everyone's books!!
Thank you Suzanne Wright for another incredible book!! If you are a fan of this series or any series by Suzanne Wright, don't miss this one!!
If you haven't started this series yet please do!!! You won't regret it!!

The book was brilliant in its own right , it brought back the feel of reading burn ,( dark in you #1 ) for the first time. There were some elements which felt to be repetitively similar to the previous books in the series , but on the whole it's worth the time ! The other characters apart from the main ones were just as amazing and entertaining.
An amazing continuation to the dark in you series . This is worth the wait ! Can't wait for Levi's book .Raini and Maddox's characters just blew my mind. An interesting plot which is quite entertaining and totally gripping.

Suzanne Wright nailed it again !! This book was a masterpiece !!
It was with great pleasure that I enjoyed spending time with Raini and her girls !!
This book was just amazing, as the other books from this series.
I really can't wait to know more about Levi and his anchor.

I just received finished Fallen, and I love it!. This story is about Raini and her anchor Maddox which we met about two books ago in the Dark in You series, and boy, was it worth the wait. In typical Suzanne Wright fashion, there is a lot of laughter, sassy h, and an Alpha H.
I LOVED Maddox, and I think he is in the running for Bad Ass of this universe, by my heart is still with Knox. Maddox is refusing to bond with Raini, he might have a good reason, but Raini and her demon do not care. After Raini becomes a target (when will these girls ever not have any danger), Maddox needs to protect Raini jumps into overdrive. I love the twist and turns that we go down as Maddox and Raini figure out there is more to each other than they thought.
It was nice to see returning characters from the series; I wish there were more scenes with Asher. I love the little guy. This novel was an excellent addition to Dark In You, and I can’t wait for the next story

Raini made a deal with the devil, who happens to be her anchor, and she is living up to her part. In order to save one of her girls, she would do anything. However, when her life is in danger, she’ll have to team up with her anchor to eradicate the danger. Hopefully she will be able to defeat the danger without revealing her secret and losing her heart. Maddox is cruel and only runs with his own kind, but when someone targets his anchor, he will stop at nothing to keep her safe and keep the secrets of his kind from ever being let out. If only he can keep his heart from attaching to Raini’s..
Raini and Maddox were too cute. I wondered how Maddox was going to be written given his reputation in the previous books was a little dark, but somehow, Suzanne gave us a character that was dark, evil, and way too dangerous, and only made us love him more. Raini was so cute and unassuming that no one would have ever guessed how powerful she truly is..put her together with Maddox and his extraordinary abilities and you get one powerful couple who are both secretive and passionate.
The girls are present all through the book and I have to say Khloe cracks me the hell up. She is one crazy chick and I am here for it. You’ll be happy to know that Knox and Keenan made up so all is well in the world.
You’ll laugh at Khloe’s antics, love Raini and her laid back/ killer personality and Maddox’s extreme calm while he battles for himself, his lair, and his woman. All in all, a wonderful book.

Raini finds herself going to the last person she ever wanted to ask for help when her friend is dying. His price may just be to high but she does not hesitate to offer anything to get his help. The arrangement with Maddox is strange and at times really makes her angry when he won't bond with her. But she will need every strength he has when someone targets Raini threatening her lively hood and her life. Maddox is dealing with his own problems, but for him, nothing comes before her safety. Their attraction is sizzling and scorthces the pages, their banter is amusing and the story is action pact and all encompassing! Definitely a five star read I could not put down!
