OMG! This drew me in quickly and there was that instant tension of a drama unfolding. An incredibly well thought out, very original plotline and one I had not foreseen. I turned ever quicker and devoured this- the sign of a gripping, well written read. A captivating, rollercoaster of a book. Loved this 3rd book in the Kay Sharp series.

We are back in Mount Chester and those who have visited before through the eyes of the author know that, once again, it's not a walk in the park. Detective Kay and the rest of the team have their work cut out for them. Without any clear clues, they do not have a lot to work with, but knowing Kay, she will not rest before she has uncovered every detail there is to uncover. She is like a dog with a bone. Nothing will stop her. No killer is going to run free in her jurisdiction.

There are witnesses this time. That should be a big help, but when they are so young and traumatized, the police has to protect them and to tread very carefully.

Although Kay and Elliott are partners, I have the feeling he is less in the picture this time. No worries though. He is still more than present enough for the ladies to drool over. ;) Kay and Elliott work good together professionally. Will they soon work together as well privately too? Sparks are flying left, right and center, that's for sure.

Whilst working the case, Kay uncovers a lot more than she originally thought. It's a very devastating discovery with heartbreaking stories.

The author has created a very disturbed and influential unsub. She really keeps you entertained and keeps you sitting on the edge of your seat. 5 stars

Thank you

This book follows the story of a teenage girl who has disappeared from her home, and her mother is found stabbed to death. The two younger children are found unharmed in the house. This is a very puzzling thing, and the people in the small town are worried. It turns out this is by far not the only time a girl has vanished, never to be heard of again.

Once the police team realizes how many girls have gone missing during several decades they know something sinister is going on. The latest missing girl's neighbour has Alzheimer, and she rambles on about some dark things that happens around town. No one takes her seriously, until it all starts making sense. Then it looks like weather has something to do with it all.

This is quite the story about a delusional character, and people who fear this psycho. I felt like the story should have had a bit more about Kay and her life to give it more depth. Otherwise it is a solid crime story, a bit questionable how believable it is, but still worth a read.

Thanks to NetGalley and publisher for the read. This is the 3rd in the Detective Kay Sharp series, and it’s a wild ride from page 1. Kay and Elliot are on the case after a women is murdered. The women’s 16 year old daughter is missing and 2 younger daughters are both found traumatized in the home with their mothers body.
I love the relationship between Elliot and Kay but would like to see it progress, they have kind of danced the same song and dance for all 3 books.
The mystery was good overall and I look forward to reading more in this series.

Thank you NetGalley, Bookouture my favorite publisher ever and Author for this intriguing advanced ebook copy!

When I seen Leslie Wolfe's third book to the Kay series I had to try and get my paws on it.
I've read read her first two The Girl from Silent Lake and Beneath Blackwater River and they were freaking amazing. So I just knew The Angel Creek Girls was a no brainer for me!.

Wolfe's books has become an automatic read, I've been reading her books for the past year and I seriously can't get enough of them!

The story grips you from the start and keeps you hanging on till the end.
This is a rapid-paced, compelling story with masterful execution. The constant action means there is never a dull momen
This is a well-written crime thriller with amazing characters and a gripping plot.
I enjoyed the story, character development, and dialogue. There were plenty of plot twists that I didn’t see coming and that added to the book’s mystique.
Looking for a new read or heck even a new series I'd highly recommend you start with the Detective Kay Sharp Books they are outta this world!.

Thank you NetGalley, Bookouture and Author for the chance to read and review this amazing book!
I'll post to my Goodreads, Bookstagram and Facebook account closer to pub date!
