This was the first book I have read by this author. I enjoyed the book so much. I liked how she mixed thriller and romance. I read it in 2 days, only cause I had my grandson. I would definitely recommend this book.

Fantastic book! It was so nice to see a sweet romance novel from a Christian perspective. Though, not overly "preachy", it sends a beautiful reminder to the world that faith and love, and Christmas, are forever entwined.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for an advanced copy of this book.

There are so many things that I loved about this book, so let me start there. This book is a very cute romance following Charlotte Rose and Ethan Cooper. They have a mutual friend that wants to set them up together but fate intervenes and they meet all on their own. Both our main characters have suffered tragic losses of their spouses and both are still healing from the pain of the loss as well as the trauma surrounding the way their spouses died. This was a great romance for that. I liked that is was a romance of people a little older than typical and for different reasons than we normally find. There is a grumpy/sunshine theme going on as well. This is a book that is full of food as well. It is set during the holiday season starting with Thanksgiving and moving through to the New Year. So it isn't all about Christmas.

The rest of the book fell flat for me. It felt like it was a little long at times and that there was too much put into it. Charlotte is a super genius and for me she came off as a know it all. I liked her but that part was a turn off for me. I feel like she would have been better if she had one thing she was good at and not a million things. I also got tired of some the same things being repeated. I know she had brown eyes because I read that over and over again. I know that she was a tall blond because I read that over and over again. She wore her signature color of pink and he wore his of grey. I did like the relationship between them, I thought it was very sweet and made sense for them to be together. I wish there would have been more of that and less of the terrorist/national security drama. I did not care for that part of the story.

Overall, I think it was a good book. It wasn't something I would read again. It was a clean romance though and I do appreciate that.

Oh my...this is a wonderful book that keeps you in suspense. I could not put the book down because I wanted to find out what happened. The writer was so good at her descriptive writing that I felt I was there. .I will be looking for other books from this author.
I recommend this book .and give it....4 stars!!!
Thank you NetGalley for allowing me this privilege!

Collier plotted this novel throughly & it shows. She takes so many elements and eloquently ties them all together in a bow(ready for the holidays).
#PINK includes romance, suspense, terrorism, loss, health issues, mental health, which is handled well all with some holiday love and light Christian references.
There’s much more to this book, behind the sweet cover. When I started reading, I liked Charlotte immediately and was hooked from there. Little did I know all that would come in this one. A very entertaining ride!

This is a lovely book for those interested in a Christian romance. The love story was really nice having two characters, both grieving spouses who died in horrific ways, find love again. It's also a nice holiday romance.

The love story got lost in a subplot (or plot) of the two characters having to work together on a money laundering/drug/terrorist case. I liked how the two had to come together to overcome their past traumas, but it seemed too forced.

However, I enjoyed the fact that both characters were more mature - I think in their 40s. My opinion is there should be more mature characters in the romance genre. However, there was not enough physical romance for me.

I think this would be a great read for those who like Hallmark Christmas movies.

I am not sure I realized this was christian christmas romance when I signed up for it.
All I can say is sweet!
I am at a loss of words as maybe just not for me
But thanks to netgalley for giving me the opportunity to read this.

Pink is a Christmas Christian second chance romance.
I loved the blurb but as I started reading there were so many characters that I got confused and some parts felt boring and somewhere there was too much unnecessary description.
This book had a great female main character who was the hero of the book in the true sense .
On a trip to New York she is called in to help assist solve a crime which had connection to terrorism!! Though this part got easily sorted without too much drama and twists !!
The romance between the two main characters could hv been a little more highlighted.

PINK
A Christmas Romance
author: Monica Collier
Red Press Co., Independent Book Publishers Association (IBPA), Members' Titles

Monica Collier has captured the perfect shade of pink in her suspenseful, romantic Christmas novel. Although the color is soft and subtle, the layers of Pink are richly textured and deep. Charlotte and Ethan's love story is tender and emotional, yet accompanied by an intriguing thrill ride of espionage and corporate racketeering.
North Carolina native Charlotte Rose exuberates elegance in her signature pink attire and love for stationery design. She also wears the impressive title of President for Rose Aerospace Defense. New York City is where she meets Ethan Cooper, a powerful attorney from South Carolina. Both have wounds from loss, with Charlotte suffering physical and emotional symptoms of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. Ethan has painful memories that hinder his enjoyment of the upcoming holidays. As Christmas approaches, healing begins.
Collier deserves credit for a unique, complex plot that takes her many main and side characters through heart-pounding crime drama, while also revealing their personal stories of pain, vulnerability, strength, and faith. I found Charlotte and Ethan to both be intelligent, humorous, and of good character. The descriptions of Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's events delivered the warmth of traditions and family ties. I am left with beautiful visual memories from Collier's expressive detail in atmosphere, food and drink, decor, place, emotions, and captivating characters in Pink.

Sorry, the synopsis was interesting, the cover was cool, but the first chapter was so boring for me. I couldn't read it in 3 days so I won't dwell on it, I don't think it's for me, I hope to have other experiences with Christian fiction :v
Sorry for not being able to comment longer.

OK so this was underwhelming, it reads pretty quickly but honestly I was bored. I got through it in a day. Reading a chapter here in there, but honestly I just finished it and I can’t remember anything about it.

I don’t know if it’s me but I’ve read recently or this book.

But yeah it’s pretty underwhelming. It’s not terrible by any means.
Just a very 🤷‍♀️

I was sold when I read that Pink is a Christian, Christmas romance, but it's not the usual Christmas fluffy, easy read, you know - YA stuff. It was romance yes, mixed with an espionage suspense. It made the book more interesting. All in all, it was a fine read, I just couldn't connect with the characters.

A sweet and good story set in christmas season, my favorite time of the year as a background for the love story. I loved this narrative. Charming and cute.

This was a really sweet, holiday in New York themed book! There were a lot of characters, which made following the story a bit challenging, but overall, this was an easy read that had a satisfying but predictable ending. Both of the main characters had interesting backstories-Charlotte especially. I liked that she wasn't a damsel in distress and was taking charge of her life to change things for the better.

There is a lot to like about Pink but, for me, the story did not do justice to the quality of the characters. Pink is primarily a romance with some elements of espionage intrigue thrown in.

Charlotte and Ethan both lost spouses in tragic circumstances. Neither high-powered professional is looking for romance, but fall for each other at first meeting. Most of the book focuses on their romance but there is not much depth to their story. The author, Monica Collier, tries to use the national intrigue in which they become involved to provide the suspense element in their relationship. However, that part of the book didn't really work for me. It is not well enough developed and is resolved pretty quickly and routinely.

Still, it is an enjoyable read with a happy ending.

It's just a fine read but I couldn't connect with the characters ... It was a bit chaotic and not so intresting
Also , the 45 age romance didn't have much go with me, but was just fine!!

This isn't what I though it would be, having a heroine all accomplished and yeah she's an Electronic digital professional, military security services owner, a million dollar worth company owner but gives it all up to follow her passion, I actually like that part.... But all through the book, Charlotte is the smartest person and keeps solving everything .. she's a linguist, amazing cook, takes care of everyone likes drivers and assistance, carries power best, professional Gun handling , loving and teaching children chemistry in a fun way(even I am an engineering student and I very well remember my chemistry labs.. they're the worst.. it's not at all fun)
Anyways our all accomplished heroine is now solving a terrorism case!! Which no one gets clues other that her!

I like my heroines strong, witty and professional too.. but I don't know .. she's just an all accomplished women with a physical hearing aid .. I just couldn't connect or imagine such a person 😬

Coming to the Terrorism part, it was fine suspense but one could smell it easily all through the book.. there was no guessing work for my imagination
I had to push myself just a little to read as it was a little less enthusiastic

Umm.. overall if you like such aspects , then it's a Go for you.

A sweet Christmas romance about God's timing and two people who get a second chance. Though I never thought I would find a Christmas book set in Charleston South Carolina as a southern town doesn't really scream set a Christmas story here.

I was drawn into Pink by Monica Collier based on the description of the story. However, once I started reading it was very difficult for me to finish. The story occurs during the holiday season in New York City. I did enjoy reading how Charlotte and Ethan overcame their losses, but the writing was wordy which made it difficult for me to want to finish. I did enjoy the character development that took place.

I recommend this to anyone looking for a sweet, holiday read that touches on topics of overcoming loss.

Wouldn't read this again but was happy to have had the opportunity to read it prior to its release in October.

I revived an ARC of this copy for an honest review. Pink was a cute romance novel laced with a terriorism threat in NYC. The storyline was constantly moving with a lot of characters which sometimes made it hard to keep in mind who was who. Since there was so much going on, I would have liked a little more background info. on certain people and situations (I believe this is a follow up book so I would suggest reading the first ones).

I enjoyed Charlotte and Ethan’s relationship throughout the novel. It was nice to see them overcome their grief together. There’s a lot of character development for the main characters as well as some other ones which was great! If you enjoy military novels, I think you would enjoy this one!
