This was a cute feel good for the summer read. There was quite a bit of drama and some angst throughout the story. The relationship between Casey and Olivia started out kind of rocky ,but got really interesting when they started to get to know and understand each other. Casey really stood out to me, because she had so much that she was dealing with, because of her mother's problems and her ex girlfriend not wanting to just let old feelings and hurt go. I thought the supporting characters were really good and helped to push the story along. This is the first book from this author I have read, but it won't be the last. I would definitely recommend this to my friends and family.

I enjoyed this book. It was a little bit of a slow burn, which I wasn’t expecting, but it worked well. I don’t know if I would fully put it in the “enemies to lovers” category but it definitely gives off those type of vibes.
I liked the character development throughout the story. The dialogue was great. The miscommunication aspect that you find in most romance novels is there but it’s short lived. I’m usually not a fan of a prolonged “will they, won’t they” between characters but I felt invested in the main characters relationship and I was rooting for them.
I’ve liked all of the books that MA Binfield has put out and this book is no different. I really enjoyed the writing, plot, and pacing. I would definitely recommend this.
