This is a fantastic rhyming Christmas story about a stinky skunk that both my children found extremely funny!
Poor Jingle the skunk is sad as he seems to be ruining Christmas with all his stinky smells. Luckily he spots some robbers who are about to steal all of Santa's presents and he uses his stinky powers to save Christmas.
The illustrations in the story are gorgeous and Jingle is the most adorable skunk. We love stories with Santa and his reindeers and this is the perfect lighthearted fun Christmas story to share at bedtime. We loved it and it will definitely be going on our Christmas list to add to our bookshelves!
Thank you to NetGalley and Bloomsbury Publishing for this advanced ecopy.

This Christmas book will be a big hit with adults and children who love stories about smells! The rhyming story is great and the illustrations are lovely. It's nice to see a Christmas story about an animal you would not associate with Christmas. Thank you for the opportunity to read and review this book.

This festive tale is a whole lot of fun. It’s about a stinky skunk named Jingle who needs to save Christmas – so of course, there’s a lot to love!

First of all, it’s an underdog story that focuses on the idea that what makes us different from others can be an advantage in the right circumstances. The humour here is very much related to the smelliness of Jingle the skunk so if you, or the children in your life, enjoy smell-related jokes then this will go down a treat. The illustrations are also delightful and set the story very well.

I thought this book was enjoyable and one that I would recommend to anyone looking for a Christmas picture book with beautiful illustrations and lots of humour.

This is a fun, rhyming picture book for Christmas about a skunk who gets caught up in some Christmas mayhem. I enjoyed this, particularly with the unusual choice of a Christmas skunk.
Gorgeous illustrations throughout and a great book to share with younger children at Christmas.

A reasonable contender for inclusion in the next Christmas season's read-alongs. A smelly skunk causes no end of problems when he whiffs about town – even the main town tree can only keel over in response. How can the animal spread Christmas cheer instead? I'll let a couple of slips in the strong rhyming scheme go, for they more or less work, and the whole is quite fun, with good design, and using a full-page spread held vertically might well make this stand out and be more memorable to its audience. I wish it well; a strong four stars.

This is a fun festive tale of a skunk who causes chaos at Christmas with his pungent aroma when he enters a town. However when a band of thieves try to make off with Santa’s gifts, our whiffy hero comes to the rescue and saves the day. This charming rhyming tale is perfect for young readers and listeners. With cheeky prose from Mark Sperring and delightful illustrations from Sophie Corrigan this will make a great gift or perfect for an early years / Ks 1 festive class story. A book I’ll be recommending and giving as a gift
