[Thanks Netgalley for the ebook. This review is my honest opinion but just another opinion, you should read this book and judge it by yourself]

A funny and lovely reading mixing You've got mail and Spoiler Alert. It's a short book but you don't have a minute to get bored.
I had a great time reading it, the MC are very likable and with depth, the sex is great and there's something in them than despite their faults makes you want to hug them. But I found a little too much Victoria's constant fixation with money and with Owen's upbringing, sometimes it got on myu nerves. I think there's lack of romantic moments between them too.
But it's a sweet and charming reading overall.

//SPANISH REVIEW//

Beautifully written romantic comedy and a must read for any fans of the genre. Once you start this book you won’t want to put it down.

I'd been waiting for this book but sadly found it a struggle from the off.

You go straight from their first meeting and her assumptions, brief online messages and then you're in the present where they're having sex but still hate other and it just felt like mess.

It didn't get much better after that and sadly I just found myself not caring. Very disappointed.

Victoria and Owen are bitter rivals.
Nora and Luke are friends online.
Who would believe these two couples have anything in common?

Of all the decisions brilliant lawyer Victoria Clemenceaux has made in her life, an unforgettable one-night stand with her opposing counsel Owen Pohl is either the worst...or the best.

One thing is certain: these long-standing rivals aren't going to let their searing attraction stop them from winning the biggest case of their careers. Thankfully Victoria and Owen have someone to vent to about their nemeses. But they have no idea that their online 'friends', Nora and Luke, are the very people they hate in real life.

As Nora and Luke grow closer online, and Victoria and Owen find their undeniable attraction harder to resist, the lines between love and hate blur. When the truth comes out, will their online chemistry work in the real world, or will their constant rivalry sever their connection?

This is such a fun book. I do like a rom com, add in a bit of rivalry and you've got the perfect story. I loved the two characters and found Victoria and Owen to be really interesting to read about. The dual pov really helped us to really get to know the characters and what they were thinking. I found this story to be a really quick read and I finished way too quickly! I wish I had more to read now!

I love You’ve got Mail so was quite keen to read this book. I was not disappointed. Excellent chemistry between the two lead characters whether they were Owen/Victoria or Nora/Luke. I also really liked them separately as well. Victoria and her walls was so relatable and I just loved how the layers kept peeling back as the story progressed with not just Owen but with her online friends as well. Owen was lovely, not perfect but willing to reflect and admit his mistakes. Thought together they worked great. Also enjoyed their respective friend groups, who were supportive, funny and helped round them both out. A really enjoyable read (4 ⭐️)

I am not much of a romance reader but I keep trying with the genre because so many people I know and like love it. And finally, I found one I liked. This was great, read in one sitting last night and yeah, more of this please.

I absolutely loved this book. From the first chapter, the tension and chemistry between Victoria and Owen was apparent and I loved it. I adored the way the characters hated each other but they always found themselves drawn to one another and wanting to be together. There were times when I wanted to just scream at the characters and make them admit that they were in love with each other, but that was the fun of seeing these characters fall in love.

This book reminded me so much of 'You've Got Mail' and seeing as it is one of my favourite rom-coms, it made this book even more enjoyable. Part of me does wish that we had more of the conversations/backstory of Nora and Luke's friendship and how they became friends online, but that is just me being picky and wanting even more of these characters.

I loved the enemies to lovers aspect of this book as it made so many of the steamier scenes even more fun because of the characters trying to deny their feelings for each other. That one scene where Victoria invited Owen to her apartment had me obsessed with them.

I can't wait to read more books by this author because this was such an enjoyable, quick romance that I had a fun time reading.

Thank you to Headline for providing me with an advance copy of this book via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

I Love you, I hate you by Elizabeth Davis a five-star read you will love and certainly not hate. Victoria and Owen will captivate you, their love to hate each other vibe was so genius, it sparked of the page. I really liked that they were both strong in their own ways, they both brought something to argument. But most of all I simply adored Kimmy, she reminded me so much of my own mum, the struggles and the love, the drive it instils in you. I loved the many aspects of the relationships, Nora and Luke, then the reveal, I was so happy with the way this story unfolded. This will easily be the best read of the year, if you like your rom coms witty and sweet then you need this story in your life.

Utterly compelling and undeniably addictive, this enemies to lovers rom-com debut was incredible—it’s You’ve Got Mail with a modern (twitter based) twist and I absolutely loved it!

“All’s fair in love and law...”
Victoria and Owen are bitter rivals.
Nora and Luke are online friends
Who would believe these couples have anything in common?

As a brilliant lawyer, Victoria Clemenceaux makes many decisions, but her one night stand with her opposing counsel (and bitter rival) Owen might just be the worst she’s ever made... or the best.

The one thing these rivals won’t do is let their attraction for one another ruin the biggest case of their careers. Thankfully they have an online friend to vent about their nemeses. The only problem is ‘Nora’ and ‘Luke’ are the very same people they hate in real life—and neither has any idea.

As Nora and Luke grow closer online and Victoria and Owen’s attraction becomes harder to resist, the lines between love and hate begin to blur. When the truth comes out can their chemistry work in the real world or will their rivalry be their downfall?

This was a really quick and utterly enjoyable read. The pacing was good, the writing was genuinely compelling and the characters were incredibly endearing. I loved seeing the POVs of both Victoria and Owen—with getting to know them it was easy to see they were perfect for one another. Their chemistry was off the charts and their interactions (on social media and in person) was absolutely perfect.

Overall, an absolutely fantastic and enjoyable read that I’d recommend to all rom-com fans.

Also, thanks to Headline and NetGalley for the arc.

I Love You, I Hate You is a really enjoyable and fun read. It’s well written, compelling and a refreshing spin on the film You’ve Got Mail. The author brought it up to date in her own imaginative style, also incorporating social media which has become an essential part of our world today. Victoria has a group of Twitter friends who offer her advice and support and I enjoyed their internet conversations and banter. Victoria and Owen are both lawyers and arch enemies professionally and under pseudo names they unknowingly really good friends on Twitter.

The story is well structured, the narrative goes back and forth between the two main characters with some intermittent internet dialogue conversations in between. I liked the 90s music references. The romance is delicious with some sizzling chemistry and intense heated moments. The perfect enemies to lovers romance with some great dialogue and their banter both on Twitter and professionally was perfection and at times hilarious. Their initial hatred of each other was palpable but they just couldn’t resist each other physically.

This is a fast-paced and compelling read which was over far too quickly. I enjoyed the author’s writing style and I will definitely be watching out for any future novels.

Thank you to the publisher for the eARC for review. My review will be published across my social media platforms nearer to the publication date and Amazon when published.

4/5 star rating.

Let me tell you this book was soooooo good. It was an enemies/rivals to enemies with benefits to lovers kind of situation and I loved every minute of it.

Victoria and Owen are both lawyers and find themselves always going against each other in court. But they have recently formed a friendship over Twitter not knowing that the person they are talking to his their rival. I LOVE THE ANONYMOUS IDENTITY TROPE!!!!!!!!

The enemies aspect of this book is phenomenal. They literally despise each other and then after a few drinks end up having hate sex!!! This then leads to them hooking up while still not liking each other.

They both soon realise they are growing feelings for the other person but then Owen messes up BIG TIME.

I loved Victoria. I thought she was such a strong character and I liked that she always held her ground. Owen is just soooo dreamy and he definitely did the right amount of grovelling for Victoria to forgive him.

This book was excellent and I 100% recommend if you are looking for a book with the hating game kind of vibe.

Thank you NetGalley for providing the ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Special Thanks to netgalley and the publisher as I was able to receive this with a wish.

I loved this book! I’m a sucker for a great romance story and from the start the chemistry between Victoria and Owen had me hooked! I read this in one sitting as I just couldn’t put it down! 100% recommend.

I really liked this book. At first I was afraid because it starts with the main characters being in bed together and I usually don't like that. But in the end I think it was the perfect start to this book. My only problem is that the "I was so so poor and you're so so rich you don't understand what it's like for the rest of us" well it got old real fast. A majority of the problems the couple faced was about money and I got tired of it.

For such a short book, there's certainly a lot that happens! I think the biggest reason I enjoyed this was because Victoria and Owen were both great characters. (Victoria more so, for me personally.) The dual narrative structure works well for this though the formatting was a bit of a mess and a little hard to follow sometimes. But I got an arc so hopefully, it'll be okay in the final version.

Overall, I don't have a lot of thoughts. I enjoyed this and read it in one sitting. Would probably recommend.

I KNEW I would love this book. I'm such a sucker for the hate-to-love trope! It was everything I wanted and more! Their chemistry was perfect and they were so likeable as individual characters that I really wanted to bang their heads together to make them realise they are perfect for each other. If only I could go back in time and read this book for the first time again...

Victoria Clemenceaux and Owen Pohl are both successful lawyers but also sworn enemies — a one-night stand was not on the cards. Nora and Luke are Twitter friends, sharing their deepest thoughts and secrets in the safety of their anonymity. How would they react to discover Victoria is Nora and Owen is Luke?

The premise of I Love You, I Hate You is pretty simple and, for the most part, is executed well. Both Victoria and Owen are well-rounded characters; however, they're not likable. At no point did I feel invested in their connection. Owen is a caricature of privilege, and his actions and character direction became grating wearing. Victoria does fare better. But it's hard to cheer for them.

All in all, this is not a bad book. But I did not enjoy it as much as I thought I would. Once again, I am grateful to Net Galley and Headline for the eARC.

This book would have been so great if not for the sad attempt and political discussions that really fell flat. I find it necessary for books to, on occasion, at least dabble in acknowledging socio-political situations so it was nice to see that Victoria and Owen were butting heads over economic disparities and that the book dropped a mention about feminism and racism etc. But that's all it was. A mention. It felt hollow. And the whole concept that Victoria working for a company that SCREAMED fictional Amazon was FEMINIST....well that pissed me off. There is certainly no ethical consumption under capitalism so I understood why Victoria felt the need to work for corporate abusers but calling her choices feminist was yeesh.
I also deeply loathed the back patting that both characters were giving themselves for hating on rich people while doing jack shit about it when both of them had ample ability to actually make big moves.
And on top of that, the book was so casual that Owen's step mother was his classmate in high school. The book implied Owen was in the wrong for thinking it was weird when his father was making an attempt. It also implied that Owen was in the wrong for being mildly weirded out with Ashley mothering him, passing it off as some big sister advice. As a reader I was so so so uncomfortable with how casual that was.
Other than those massive icks, I liked Owen and Victoria. I thought their third act breakup was justified and the resolution made sense with their character arcs paired with their emotional journey.
More ick than aw though.

There seems to be a surge of 'You've got mail'-trope books out there at the moment. I must have read 3 in the last months but I can't seem to get enough of it. I just like the trope of enemies being online friends.

Victoria and Owen are enemies in the court room, but online they are Nora and Luke, with a steady friendship. I did not really like Victoria but I can admire her grit and determination to make it as a litigator and not letting her difficult upbringing keep her from fulfilling her goals. She detests Owen as he comes from a rich family, but there is a definite spark between them. There was a bit of a silly argument near the end, but the conclusion was very satisfying.

I loved the blurb of this book and it gave me very "the hating game" vibes, so I requested a copy of it. And thanks to NetGalley I got it 🙌.

Victoria & Owen are each other's arch nemesis and as a result they hate each other to bone. But their hatred for each other is way smaller in comparison to the chemistry they share and how much they are attracted to each other. And I loved this premise/ trope so, so much.

I went in thinking that'll this be another generic office-romance/ enemies to lovers story but 𝑰 𝑳𝒐𝒗𝒆 𝒀𝒐𝒖, 𝑰 𝑯𝒂𝒕𝒆 𝒀𝒐𝒖 surprisingly stands out because it is those two tropes but in a rather refreshing way. I loved the banter and all the back n forth between the two leads, I truly liked how this book encapsulated the internet culture and online friends who know more about you than your real life friends and I especially liked the dual pov as it made me see the entirety of the story unfold from both perspectives.

The only problem I had with this book was that the intermittent online conversations, as they were at times rather confusing and took me out of the feel of the story.

But overall I enjoyed reading this book and would definitely recommend it to people who love office romances, enemies to lovers trope.
