Another great book in this range of books.
And this one is about a strong little girl who truly wanted to make a difference in this world, and how she went about it.
Very encouraging book that is great for younger kids to believe they can be, who they want to be

My daughters love a book about strong female characters and this one is special,  because it is about a young girl making a difference in the world. We find out about Gretas origins and how from an early age she worried about the environment and climate change. Her small actions turned into larger world wide actions, showing how each one of us can make a difference. This edition has short sentences, easily readable by young readers and bright  beautiful pictures. It is perfect to read to babies and toddlers too as it is short and will hold attention. These Little People, Big Dreams books continue on their popularity in our house. I love how the Baby book versions now make them perfect for young babies upwards. They are fun, but educational. #Netgalley #firstreaders #littlepeoplebigdreams #mariaisabelsanchezvegara

I absolutely adore the Little People, Big Dreams series and this book, focusing on Greta Thunberg did not disappoint. Filled with glorious illustrations, these texts are a fabulous springboard for classroom discussion. I love how they cover such a broad range of famous faces, from scientists to musicians.

Having previous enjoyed the main series Greta Thunberg book, I was interested to see how the story had been simplified for the younger intended audience of this board book. I was very impressed: the story retains all of its important morals and still gives key details about this inspirational conservationist but the text has been diluted. This makes it easier to read and understand for a younger audience. It still provides the opportunity for important discussion albeit in a more simplistic manner. The pictures certainly help to enrich the story, being brightly coloured and attention-grabbing.

We will be adding this book to our bookshelf for Nursery and Reception children to access, but it would be equally helpful even for older readers. Thank you to NetGalley for the ARC.

This copy of the little people big dreams collection has been made specifically for the youngest of readers. It’s set out in short, simple sentences making it a great book for young readers and for introducing to babies and toddlers during story time.

Greta Thunberg was a young girl who realised the impact that our actions were having on the world. Through this realisation, she made it her mission to try and make changes and heal the world. In this story, children will see how Greta shared her mission with the world and the impact her actions and voice has had to invoke changes around the world regarding how we treat the world and environment around us.

What a fab message to share with the children of the world!

**I received an advanced copy of this ebook to read and review. Thank you NetGalley, the author and publisher for allowing me this opportunity **

I love that after the success of the Little People BIG DREAMS series, the author has turned her attention to writing for younger children too. This book is ideal for the very young as it features vibrant, alluring colour illustrations alongside simple sentences. It introduces youngsters to one of the most prominent people in the climate change/environmental science sphere - activist and visionary Greta Thunberg. In my opinion, when it comes to topics of this importance there is never a time in which it is too early to introduce kids to important figures leading the debate and championing worthwhile causes. Highly recommended.

I love the books in this series and I couldn’t wait to read this one on Greta Thunberg!

I love that these books give an insight in to the back stories of some of the most influential people in the world. The Little People, Big Dreams series is one I always look out for. I did wonder at first at the addition of Great as she is still only young and has her life ahead of her to do much more, but having read the book it does show what an influence she has already been and she is a worthy addition as someone who was a little person with big dreams.

I wasn’t aware until reading the book that her great-grand-uncle Svante had been such an influence to science as well as her life and it was his legacy that really influenced her – she has done an awful lot so far from starting out as just a girl with a handmade sign. I really enjoyed it, 5 stars from me, very highly recommended!

I am so glad that Little People, Big Dreams is including people from present day, who make a difference and who need to be known.

Greta's story serves as a testament as to what a little girl can do. Just a little girl has started a big movement. It's also a huge inspiration to all parents and kids out there, who think that what we do on this planet doesn't matter. This is a big nod to hope & sustainability.

Love it as always. Can't wait for others in the series!

Greta Thunberg by Maria Isabel Sanchez Vegara is another release in the Little People, Big Dreams series, which I have reviewed frequently on here. I just love these little books. They are always packed with facts about the person who they are writing about and full of colourful illustrations throughout.

This latest book called Greta Thunberg by Maria Isabel Sanchez Vegara will not disappoint.

"When young Greta learned of the climate crisis, she stopped talking. She couldn't understand why people in power were not doing anything to save our Earth. One day she started protesting outside the Swedish Parliament, creating the "School Strike for Climate." Soon, lots more young people joined her in a global movement that shook adults and politicians alike. She had found her voice and uses it to inspire humans to action with her powerful message: "No one is too small to make a difference."

I am so glad these books are being published and I highly recommend all of these books
