Due to a sudden, unexpected passing in the family a few years ago and another more recently and my subsequent (mental) health issues stemming from that, I was unable to download this book in time to review it before it was archived as I did not visit this site for several years after the bereavements. This meant I didn't read or venture onto netgalley for years as not only did it remind me of that person as they shared my passion for reading, but I also struggled to maintain interest in anything due to overwhelming depression. I was therefore unable to download this title in time and so I couldn't give a review as it wasn't successfully acquired before it was archived. The second issue that has happened with some of my other books is that I had them downloaded to one particular device and said device is now defunct, so I have no access to those books anymore, sadly.

This means I can't leave an accurate reflection of my feelings towards the book as I am unable to read it now and so I am leaving a message of explanation instead. I am now back to reading and reviewing full time as once considerable time had passed I have found that books have been helping me significantly in terms of my mindset and mental health - this was after having no interest in anything for quite a number of years after the passings. Anything requested and approved will be read and a review written and posted to Amazon (where I am a Hall of Famer & Top Reviewer), Goodreads (where I have several thousand friends and the same amount who follow my reviews) and Waterstones (or Barnes & Noble if the publisher is American based). Thank you for the opportunity and apologies for the inconvenience.

4☆ A Fascinating Look Inside Animals

Wow what a fascinating book. This book literally takes you Inside Animals.
It looks at a variety of Animals and gives the reader interesting facts about each Animal, and then examines certain parts of the body. Teaching readers all about the weird and wonderful.

I certainly learnt a lot, for example...if you could jump as high as a flea, you would be able to jump over a house!...and....An Octopus had three hearts....and...Each Ostrich Eyeball is bigger than it's brain....to give you a little example.
Each page is illustrated and has clear details and facts so you can see where and what the information is referring too. Ie, Inside a whale 🐋 it talks about the heart and clearly identifies it on the illustration.

This book is perfect for young readers who love Animals, Biology and Science.
It's a fun, Engaging and Educational read that children will relate too.
The pages are bright and eye-catching, the information is relevant and to the point, making it simple and easy for young readers to understand and not get bored.
I think this book would make a wonderful treasured gift.

Thank you to Quarto Publishing & Netgalley for my copy which I reviewed honestly and voluntarily.

Unable to review as the book wasn't available on my kindle app. What a shame, is there a way this book could be sent as a kindle download? I look forward to this problem being resolved.

This book is fantastic. I love the different animals to choose from and the amount of facts on each page. I liked the easy to follow layout and how colourful it is. I think this book will be a bit hit with children as well as adults. Thank you for the opportunity to read and review this book.

What a beautiful book. This book would fascinate any child learning about animals or life processes. I can see it becoming a classroom staple in so many ways. The information is very accessible and well thought out, which would appeal to so many children, either independent readers of those sharing the book or having it read with them. The illustrations really make the book. They are so bright and bold, and instantly draw you in to wanting to know more about that animal. Can dip in and out or read in one go. I foresee a future classic here.
