I wouldn’t and couldn’t put this book down and finished it in one go. Which I’m now a little sad about as I’d like to have more to read.

There was a lot going on with Star, her family and friends, and each additional storyline makes you want to read more.

A very busy story, but each thread linked perfectly and was still easy to follow. Some very emotional twists and a perfect ending. Though at times you did wonder how and if it would get there. A real feel good ending.

Well written and believable characters and a lovely setting.

This is the second book in the Ferry Lane Market series and it is just as good as the first.

Star loves her daughter and her life but feels like she is missing out on companionship especially as her best friend is so happy and loved up. She is still in love with Jack even though the only had a one night stand ( it was amazing). Enter a gorgeous Irish man who’s a cheeky crappy with a heart of gold, could he be the one?
This story will make you laugh, cry,, pull on your heartstrings and definitely leave you wanting more. I cannot wait for book three

I loved the first one of this series so was eager to get my hands on book 2. It was nice to re-visit the little Cornish town and I enjoyed this. More of a focus on Star and Jack but Cara is around. I have to say I definitely missed Cara's dad being in it so much. First half I found a bit slow, but second half picked up. Not as adventurous as book 2.

Starry Skies in Ferry Lane Market by Nicola May a five-star read that left me starry eyed with wonder. I really enjoyed Welcome to Ferry Lane Market and loved how this one kept with the flow and just keep developing the characters and I am so excited for the next visit Rainbows end, and I can only wonder at what we will learn in that story. I adore how Nicola May has created this place and filled it with characters who all make you feel like you belong there with them, sitting and watching the red and yellow ferry, having a coffee or a naughty squash, but most of all watching them grow. I haven’t read the Cockleberry Bay stories, but after getting a glimpse, I feel like I need to branch out. These are great story’s that are perfect for an afternoon curled up with a good book, forget the world outside and visit the market, you won’t be disappointed.

This is the second book in the Ferry Lane Market series and it is just as good as the first.

The story follows Star who spent one summer day with Jack and fell in love. But Jack has disappeared and she just can’t forget him. When loveable rogue Conor suddenly appears on the scene and sweeps her off her feet, it looks like she may finally get a happy ending. However, an out of the blue revelation will turn Star’s life upside down.

A great addition to this series. Looking forward to the next one.
