"get Tae France" I really enjoyed this book! However, it didn't read like a YA book and I found it more middle grade but it definitely had reference to films and TV shows that would not suit a young audience. Very readable and had all the feels in it, grief and coping with grief, a lot of paranormal research descriptions and some pretty good tension. All in all I would very much recommend to anyone who enjoys reading spooky middle grade or YA books.
After the death of his mother, New Yorker, PJ is sent to live with his aunt in Edinburgh (being his only relative) obviously PJ, still dealing with this loss isnt in the best of moods about this and just wants to go back to his friends and dog he left behind. At a youth grief meeting he bonds with 3 others and soon they find common interests in the paranormal and start a ghost Hunt. A fun, somewhat light hearted slice of spooky goings on in Edinburgh.
