Having read Katie Piper's previous books I was excited to read this one and grateful to have the opportunity through #netgalley
It certainly lived up to my expectations, full of beautiful quotes and inspiring throughout. Would make a lovely gift or a great addition for a little something for yourself.

I received an advance reader copy of this book to read in exchange for an honest review via netgalley and the publishers.

A Little but of Faith is an inspirational book of affirmations for every day of the year by Katie Piper.
Each of these affirmations isn't very long but reaches into you and makes you think. Reading one of these pages every day is a perfect way to start or end the day, especially when you are feeling very low, unsure, unhappy or sad. This is a great thing to practice as mindfulness and to positively change your thoughts and feelings.
Katie is a very inspirational lady and someone to look to for strength, bravery and courage.

I really enjoyed this book. The premise is that each day of the year has an affirmation and a journal prompt that really forces you to reflect on your life and your attitude toward yourself. I plan to use this starting in January and follow through with all the writing prompts myself.

A Little Bit of Faith has an affirmation for every day of the year with a paragraph after it which offers a small explanation including how you can implement the affirmation into your day/life.

In terms of the type of quotes, if you are not a fan of clichés or the 'positive vibes only' brigade then do not fear. The affirmations are much more thought-provoking than that and acknowledges our range of hardships and challenges and the fact that we as humans feel a whole range of emotions. One thing worth mentioning is that as the title suggests, Katie Piper does touch upon her Christian faith slightly in the book. However if you are not religious or belong to a different religion, then do not let this put you off. At no point does Katie force her beliefs onto you, and I truly believe that we can all take something from some of the values which are digested from some biblical quotes.

I have to say this book really did bring a smile to my face. After having a challenging year in terms of grief and battling with mental health, reading these affirmations and hearing Katie Piper's perspective really felt like a gift from heaven. I've read it all in one go in this sitting but going forward I hope to make the book a part of my morning routine.

The only thing I would say is that if you are considering buying this book, and unsure whether to buy the e-book or the physical copy then I would suggest buying the physical copy. Whilst I've read the e-book I would love a physical copy which I could easily pick up and refer to and I can just imagine the actual book being a nice touch to any bed side table or book shelf.

All in all, this book isn't just a book you read and are done with. This book is a lifestyle change. Five stars.

This is a simple and sweet devotional. If you are looking for one that will give you a short passage to read each day and have you think, this is for you. I love that it doesn't only use scripture as the source. It is nice to read quotes and other short references. I do wish there was more action for each day, so I had something to journal, do, or focus on.

This book has a great concept - but think it's just a bit flat.
Every page is dated and just has a quote or short piece of writing - as the title says, 'a hopeful affirmation' - but that is it.
I just think there's nothing else to it. Would have been good to maybe have a journal prompt or something that relates to the affirmations.

This book is expensive for just a few words on a page.

Just don't get it!

I really liked this book, having a positive paragraph a day to read first thing in the morning. There are 365 quotations, affirmations and religious quotes to consider each day. I plan on reading one every morning to bring a little positivity into my life.

I will definitely like to buy this book rather than have an online copy to refer to, and would make a life gift for a friend as you can use it year on year, it will never expire.

Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for giving me an advanced copy, I have really enjoyed dipping into this little book.

Katie Piper is an inspirational lady who oozes resilience, determination and hope. She has openly shared her life experiences to help and empower others. In this book the reader is presented with 365 bite-size affirmations which encourage the reader to think about and put a new perspective on their own life. It’s a thoughtful journey which can be explored daily, throughout the year, or alternatively it can be used to dip in and out of. There is something for everyone. It’s on my birthday list and will be a graceful addition to my coffee table. Highly recommended.

A Little bit of Faith by Katie Piper
This is an inspirational book , and I really like the way it is dated for one a comment for every day of the year.
I've made a promise to myself to read one every morning before I get on with the day.
This was today's :

When it comes to life the critical thing is whether you take things for granted or take them with gratitude
G. K. Chesterton
When I think about the people I’ve met who are the most fulfilled and enriched, I’ve found they’re rarely those who have the most material things. Instead of accumulating stuff, they just feel grateful for the things they have. I understand, as I feel so grateful to have sight in one of my eyes. I could very easily be blind, so I feel thankful every day for that eye. I have less than someone with two good eyes, but I probably appreciate my sight more than they do. Perspective is life-changing. What could you be more grateful for?

I will enjoy this book for a year, and more .
