Sadly I can't give this a fait rating .

The format of the book came through all higgledy piggledy on my kindle (this has now happened a few times when requesting books from netgalley) and being dyslexic, i was not going to put myself in a position of stressfully trying to read these sentences that appeared all over the screen

Great book. Both Talia and Rafe had ‘love’ issues. As a female Talia had identified her issues and dealt with them: her father leaving her mother when she was pregnant with Talia; she felt, like most women who miss out on a father’s live…an absent father or even a father who is there in body but nothing else. Rafe was very closed off. He admitted to not knowing what love was.I enjoyed the strong lead characters and the pull of their attraction.

His Safe Haven is a romance, women fiction book that contains everything it should have - intrigue, complicated past, tense, desire.
Rafael DeLuca II came to Boston to take a closer look at the company's branch, but maybe that's just an excuse to run away from his real life? Taila McKenna will be his PA and a spy of his moves. Appearing unprofessional and nervous, she finds DeLuca's increadible magnetism and attraction very distracting. The tension will build a wall between them. Will she manage to get out of that compass unscathed? There is also DeLuca's reflection on his life, the peaceful refuge he sought when he began to think about his life and the moment he is now. Rafe really thought about it and made some conclusions.
I enjoy the plot and characters. Christina OW has a very descriptive writing style that can take you into the novel straight away. A small number of dialogues, too small in my opinion. The dialogue could be used as a game between the protagonist and other characters, could expose the nature of issues or tension between the main characters, and break the long paragraphs - I could even hear the sarcastic tone that Taila speaks to others in certain situations. Her thoughts made me laugh sometimes, so I think it could work perfectly.
Further reading takes the reader into the romantic journey, full of sexual tension and hot atmosphere - felt by braver descriptive language. The atmosphere will change, develop - with sexual frustration, increadible desire and on the other hand deeper feelings, emotions and concern about the other person. Can they build any relationship based on where they are already?

Thank you, NetGalley, and BooksGoSocial, for an ARC of this book, in exchange for an honest review.

Talia McKenna just wants a signature on her proposal, and she's tired of jumping through hoops to get it.

But what choice does she have? She have to live and breathe and fight to live a life she wants.
