I was positively surprised with this picture book. I expected very simple one, I got pretty pictures and not-so-obvious inside. Very well presented for children, both them and parent can lear a lot.

One of a set of very early readers discussing emotions, this one portrays loneliness in a perfect pictorial way, with the face of a desolate, hangdog moon figure. The young audience member sees the effect of loneliness, the potential causes, and that talking and happy events and thoughts are the best remedies. There's nothing to disagree with in the lesson here, or the way it's conveyed.

I loved this and I think it’s wonderful we are starting young to teach children about emotions, how it’s ok to feel them and how to deal with them too. It’s a lovely simple book, colourful and appealing to show simply the moon is lonely and sad, and the fact it describes why people are lonely too, I just lov3d this and it’s nice to think we are teaching children to be open and talk
