This book is a psychological thriller but it didn’t work for me. I was bored and there was no tension at all. The plot was so unbelievable.

A thrilling and gripping premise that I couldn't put down. I was completely enthralled by the writing and the characters, it was a delight.

Oh gosh, Michelle Frances is a fantastic author. I came across her books a number of years ago and she gives us readers everything we want in a good book. Excitement, tension, drama, the whole works.
We meet Amy in this story. Amy has woken up in hospital and cannot remember how or why she is there.
She speaks to her friends and her boyfriend and really must rely on what they tell her is the truth. Imagine how scary that is for anyone. Add to this the little flashbacks she has of her life along the way and suddenly I am frightened for her.
And who is Harry? I loved the way the story was told through the different perspectives.
Her characters I completely enjoyed and took to each one of them.
Well worth your time. I adored it.

This was a very chilling and gripping thriller. The combination of Amy's memory loss and her suspicion of her new boyfriend and even her friends gave this story a claustrophobic feel and I couldn't put the book down until I knew the truth.

I actually read this more than a year ago, I just didn't get the chance to post my review due to this thing called life. This is a 3 star for me because I loved the first half of the book and how the author started it out. I appreciate how beautiful the description was of the snowy mountain during the MC's skiing trip with friends and fam. However, when the story was unfolding halfway throughout the ending there were times wherein I felt like it was a let down. I guess I was expecting more and it sort of ended abruptly for me. I would still recommend this book however especially to those who are only starting out in this genre. It could be not as predictable for you.

An entertaining read, that had you gripped from the first page to the last. It kept you guessing throughout and was left on a bit of a cliffhanger..

I found this book really engaging and the more I read, the more confused I was until closer to the end. It’s definitely a quick paced read, with lots of twists and turns. Whilst I wouldn’t say the book was predictable from my point of view, I definitely think there are elements that are a bit too far fetched and unbelievable.

Overall, I really enjoyed this book and found the plot line really intriguing.

I enjoyed this psychological thriller from the very start, the plot was dramatic and contained twists I definitely did not see coming

Amy has had an accident, bumped her head and now can’t remember anything from the last six months. Her and her friends and mum have previously arranged a trip to her aunties luxury lodge to celebrate Amy’s birthday and Amy discovers she has a boyfriend that she has no recollection of and when he turns up unexpectedly at the lodge things aren’t as they seem.
A good easy read although a little predictable but still enjoyable. I give this book four stars.

Amy comes round after a fall and wakes up in hospital, but she is suffering from amnesia.

She has a boyfriend, Dr Jack Stewart, but she doesn't remember him or anything about the last few months she has spent with him.

It is labelled under the genre "psychological thriller". It started off with promise and I was enjoying it, but the more it went on the more frustrated I got. It just got a little far fetched to me. Amy started getting on my nerves.

There were no thrills like I would expect there to be in a book sitting in the psychological thriller section.

The characters themselves, were well written and mostly likeable but it just seemed to get a little non-sensical.

This book was everything I look for in a book. It was so exciting. The plot was fantastic. It really had me on the edge of my seat, and my heart racing. It was very well written and flowed well.

Thank you Pan Macmillan for another great read and Netgalley for the ARC.

This was a good storyline if a little unusual but it did slow down at times and I wanted to give it a kick. However, I really enjoyed this book and would happily recommend it.

This is a psychological thriller based around the events that unfold following Amy having a fall and ending up in hospital with amnesia and makes you question if anyone is who they seem and also not to trust people at face value. As the events begin to unfold there are several twists and turns which make you want to read on until the truth unfolds

This book is unbelievable, but in a good way. I loved the twists and turns and found myself totally unable to put this book down. A Great read, well worth picking up.

This book had a great first half however the second half (especially the last quarter) let me down and the ending was a tad unbelievable.

To begin with I was hooked and couldn’t put the book down. I wanted to know if the main character really couldn’t remember anything, if the boyfriend was genuine, if her best friend was genuine, I wanted to know everything. However, the more the story went on especially when things started to unravel and the truth was relieved I was left feeling rather disappointed. I found the reason the main character was chased absolutely ridiculous and there was no reason that they money couldn’t be traced. He was he a master mind criminal he was just a young man chancing his luck.

The story follows a young lady who suffers a hit to the head. She wakes up in hospital unnerved to discover that she can’t remember anything that happened during the last six months, including her new boyfriend. She then finds herself on a skiing holiday with her two best friends, mum and boyfriend. As expected everything isn’t as it seems but who is hiding something? And why?.

All in all it was ok but I’d recommend watching The Tinder Swindler on Netflix rather than reading this book.

This was a very unexpected novel. I can’t say that I loved it or enjoyed it fully because it became too slow for my liking after the midway point. But I kept reading because the whole idea that this story was based on was intriguing and made me wonder of why most of all. I got the who did it early on , but my interest was in why. And that ending doesn’t satisfy my feelings to say it out blatantly.
Interesting read overall

Very grateful to the publisher for my review copy

Thank you to Netgalley for an advanced copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I enjoyed this book, but I did find it a little slow-paced. and a little short on the psychological aspect. Still a recommended read.

Quite a predictable plot line that had me questioning the MC. The beginning was intriguing but slowly it became repetitive. And to top it all, it ended in a cliffhanger. My interest dwindled by the time I reached the end. An okay read.

The plot just wasn't up to it for me. It was quite repetitive and predictable, but well written. I've read a lot of thrillers so nowadays it takes a lot to throw me
