A fantastic thrilling read! Amy wakes up in hospital following an accident to find she has no memory of the last 6 months. She is shocked to find out she has a boyfriend, Dr Jack Stewart. She has no memory of Jack whatsoever and when they take a trip with her family and friends, Jack joins them. Amy has to get to know this mysterious Dr Jack but is he too good to be true?!

The story was fast paced from the fast page and I was immediately gripped. It’s full of twists and turns and you’ll end up second guessing everything you think you already knew! I really enjoyed this book and found it difficult to put it down, it’s an easy 5 stars from me! I can’t thank NetGalley and Michelle Frances enough for giving me the opportunity to read this!

A very well written book with a lovely writing style. The storyline was intriguing and kept you guessing for a large part of the book which made it gripping and engaging. I was a little disappointed with the open ending as it felt a little disappointing compared to the rest of the book but that may just be that prefer things to resolve at the end of books! Overall an enjoyable easy read!

You know from the beginning that the boyfriend is not who everyone thinks he is. Amy suffering from amnesia is rather slow in gathering the pieces together but the anticipation is worth the finale. Two viewpoints but not consistently following one another but like Amy the puzzle fits together at the end. But is justice done? There has got to be a sequel…. Please?

Thanks to Netgalley and Pan McMillan for providing this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Amy wakes up after a bad fall and can't remember anything that happened for the past several months. She has a great doctor boyfriend named Jack but she can't remember ever having a relationship with him and things seem off even though her family and friends are validating the relationship.

This was a quick read. The whole thing was a little farfetched. At a certain point we could guess what was going on, we just didn't know how it was pulled off. I also was a little bit sad about the ending. Despite the criticisms it wasn't a bad read. It was my second from this author and I expect I will read more.

What a great read. I couldn’t put this one down.

When Amy slips on the ice, concussion robs her of the last six months of her life. She is pleasantly surprised to find she now has had a wonderful boyfriend, Dr Jack Stewart although she can’t remember a thing about him. Unfortunately, all is not as perfect as it seems.

When her mum, friends Lisa and Jenna and Jack go ski-ing in France to celebrate Amy’s birthday, secrets are gradually revealed.

I found the plot intriguing and the writing was engaging throughout. Harry’s viewpoint was a great addition and I thought the timing of the reveal was perfect. My only criticism is I wanted to keep reading. Sequel please!

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC.

Having never read anything from this author before, I was delighted to be approved this arc from Netgalley and Pan MacMillan in exchange of my honest review.

When Amy comes round following a serious fall, she doesn't remember anything from the last six months, not even her perfect boyfriend Dr. Jack Stewart.. Could the seemingly perfect boyfriend be too good to be true?

Wow what a fabulous read! This story is told at a fast pace right from page one and had me hanging on every word.

Well thought out and executed plot and really made me want to keep reading to find out what happened next!

I would definitely recommend this book and am delighted to give it a full 5 stars!

He loves you. He loves you not.

Six months ago, Amy had it all. A sucessful career, her own home, a wonderful group of friends. The only thing missing was a partner to share it all with it.

She just didn't expect to find one after a dangerous fall that wiped away the last six months of her memories. She can't remember why she was found laying on an icy street, she can't remember that she's meant to be leaving for her 30th birthday skiiing trip next week, and she definitely can't remember falling for Dr Jack Stewart three months ago.

And he's definitely the type of man you'd remember; sexy, sweet and totally smitten with her. But as she heads off to her birthday trip with her friends in tow and tries to get to know the man she's supposedly in love with, there's not butterflies in her stomach but a feeling that something isn't quite right...

"She was comforted by an underlying sense of recognition, yet when she tried to grasp at their history, it evaporated. It was like trying to grab fog."

The Boyfriend was so much more than I expected. Going into this, I thought I knew where I was going but the journey was something else entirely. Full of devilish twists and turns that gave me whiplash, this kept me on the edge of my seat as the pages flew by. The location of the snowy Val D'lsere where we spend most of our time is written perfectly - atmospheric and almost ethereal at times, leaving no doubt of exactly where we were.

Amy had a certain quality that made me fall in line behind her instantly - especially as she slowly starts getting confusing fragments of memories trickle in and should be trusting her friends and boyfriend to fill in the gaps but just can't do it. There is a constant chilling feeling lingering around as we try to figure out if it's residual paranoia from her injury, if it's a person she knows, or something else altogether. The other supporting characters definitely didn't shy away in the background either - each with their own story that will come to the surface in both wonderful and heartbreaking ways.

With an ending that both made me furious and delighted, satisfied yet desperate for just a few more pages - this is a gripping page-turner that will have you looking over your shoulder for the rest of the night.

This was a 5 star read for me, I absolutely loved it, until the ending! I HATED the ending. Open endings just do not do it for me and I wanted justice done.

I'll focus my review on the first 95% of the book which I thought was absolutely fantastic. It was pacy and I just couldn't put it down. Amy was a really interesting character and I really felt her frustration when no one believed her.

I also really enjoyed the parts from Harry's point of view. I loathed him but you could kind of see how things reached the point they did.

Gabriel and Esme sounded like wonderful people and I got emotional a few times whilst reading about them.

I haven't read anything I've enjoyed this much for quite a while, and I almost just wish I hadn't bothered to finish it!

This is a book that once I picked up, it totally consumed me. I ended up reading it in one evening as I was so absorbed by what was in front of me and I had to see how everything was going to end… An absolute must-read!

Amy has just been discharged from hospital after a blow to the head. She’s forgotten the last few months and has gone from being a 30 year old single woman to quite settled with a doctor boyfriend. The only problem is she can’t remember him and none of her friends or family met him. I love Michelle Frances books and this one definitely didn’t disappoint and kept me guessing and completely gripped throughout.

Mind blowing.
Amy is fiercely independent, with a high-powered career, a flat of her own and tight-knit friendships. But as she approaches her thirtieth birthday, she can't help but rue the one thing she doesn't have - a relationship.
When Amy comes round following a serious fall, she doesn't remember anything from the last six months. Not even the week skiing at her aunt's luxurious chalet in Val D'Isere with her mum and best friends to celebrate her birthday. And she certainly doesn't remember being swept off her feet by the handsome Dr Jack Stewart . . .
Jack is the full package - charming, caring and devoted to Amy. Everyone is smitten with him, but as the week goes on, Amy begins to find Jack’s presence chilling. Is her broken mind playing tricks? Or is the perfect boyfriend really too good to be true?
I loved all Michelle Frances books and this is her best novel.
Thanks to NetGalley and Pan for giving me an advance copy.
