A brilliant follow up to Raynor Winn's first book The Salt Path.
Winn is a brilliant storyteller, I love her writing.

The book is a follow-up. This book talks about some sad subjects, such as death and suffering of family. The last chapter is about the trek to Iceland and the people met along the way as well as endurance.

Raynor has a gift for taking people on a journey with her (and Moth) and The Wild Silence does just that. It was lovely to read this follow up to The Salt Path, not least to find out what happened to the pair after the end of the walk. At times tragic but mostly full of hope, it left me wanting to connect to nature and the earth, and wishing that Ray & Moth have many more happy days ahead
