This is one more twisted, turning, unexpected, surprising story. The characters are not likable (except for two) but there are plenty of unexpected developments to keep the reader engaged and turning pages. I thoroughly enjoyed the book ..This is a must read i loved it from the start thank you to the author

Funny, sad, suspenseful, thrilling, reflective, maddening, and ultimately triumphant, with this impressive debut Ade proves himself a master storyteller ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is the first book that I have read of William Ade, and was not disappointed.
The book describes the relationship between a brother and sister and the things that we do for the love of family.
I found this book amusing whilst the murderous going ons pile up in the book.
Tommy will do anything for his sister Daisy and finds himself getting more and more caught up in her aims of getting rich.

Do it for Daisy is a powerful exploration of the emotional and psychological development of a brother and sister whose early life was transformed by the killing of their criminal parents by the police. Daisy developed into a master manipulator whose skill included preying on the loyalty of her younger brother to assist her in covering up the murder of her wealthy husband. The volume is filled with twists and turns that keep the reader begging to turn the next page. Ade is a highly gifted story teller with a penchant for character development, suspense and maintaining the reader’s interest throughout. I am anxiously awaiting his next novel!

I was drawn to Do it For Daisy because of the author’s previous work (Art of Absolution, No Time for His Nonsense) and once again, was not disappointed. Ade created this wonderful tale filled with criminal escapades and evolving plots, each with multiple emotions, twists, and intrigue. The book will leave you baited for the author’s next work of art.

Another great read by this author! Ade has an incredible talent for colorfully describing his characters and the worlds in which they function. Immediately you find yourself drawn into their emotions. You feel their desperation, angst, love, hate, fear and loneliness. You quickly find yourself despising certain characters and routing for others. Every chapter offered a new twist, a new trial for the main characters, raising my emotions to still another level. I didn't want to put this book down. I just HAD to continue reading. The culmination of my emotional journey resulted in a VERY unexpected ending. As with Ade's books, you never know what's lurking on the turn of the next page!

Do it For Daisy, Bill Ade's latest novel, is an engaging, carefully constructed tale of a devious, murderous and exploitive sister who skillfully manipulates her weak-willed brother-pushing him to the wrong side of the law. "Daisy" quickly draws in the reader, and this pair's criminal adventures had me rushing ahead to see the resolution of each new plot twist and what else this Daisy would do. A local detective who smells a rat coupled with Ade’s demonstrated knowledge of police procedure make it all the more realistic. Ade’s characters come alive and the plot intrigued throughout. It was hard to put down and yielded an unexpected but very satisfying conclusion.

It grabbed my attention from the start. It was funny and sad in equal measures. Poor Tommy! I want to read more from this author.
