This story is set in a little town called Windia. The main character Florence is a barista whose family own a coffee shop in Windia. After Florence is getting fired in a coffee shop, she’s travelling to her family to Windia for Christmas. One day a tall, dark haired guy walks through the door…

Now I give you my complete honest and personal review of the book.
I completely adore these characters and the relationships between these characters! I read it in one sitting, which is completely unusual for me. It was so fast paced that the ending kind of surprised me. The tension between the main characters were amazing! Samson is an unbelievable man who helps where he can and his heart is literally of gold. My favourite character was Pearl the grandmother who is a little bit crazy but completely sweet.

Personally, I didn’t like the entire plot. I thought it was quite boring and predictable. In my opinion it was a cliché plot which didn’t made it special. Another point is that I kind of wished it was more steamy… it was a cute romance without any spice. Additionally, there wasn’t enough Christmas feeling. It never felt like it was Christmas time! But through the magical aspect, I felt a more Christmas magic than expected!

All in all, I recommend this book if you’re looking for a cute, winter & magical enemies to lovers romance novel! I highly recommend it if you’re looking for a novel which shows a strong family bond.

Witchy Coffee is the perfect book to cozy up during a cloudy day. I love small town romances and this book didn’t disappoint. Coffee Shop Romance? Check. Enemies to lovers? Check. Sweet family dynamics? Check.

Overall I liked this book it’s a short, feel good story with a cute romance and an a great side characters. The family dynamics is one of my favorite things of this books.

What ensues is a cute, funny story of enemies-to-lovers with large amounts of coffee consumed and pastries baked. Sprinkle in some magic and a charming story comes together filled with family, friendship, and romance in this small town, Windia.

Overall, I enjoyed this book as a simple, fast read. I didn't feel like there was enough development In the romance department. It was hard to feel the connection between the main characters, but I adored the side characters. The Mackenzie women absolutely stole the show.

Witchy Coffee was a great book to start off Autumn. The vibes of the book made me want to put on a sweater, grab a pumpkin spice latte, and binge all eight Harry Potter movies. Although the book was short, every page managed to keep my attention. This book is perfect for fans of the enemies to lovers trope and, of course, fans of coffee. I am aware that the version I was offered by NetGalley was unedited, so the final product will be even more incredible!

This was so fun and wholesome and CUTE. I got major Gilmore Girls vibes - the story follows a family composed of a grandma, granddaughter, sister in law and niece - so we've got all the female bonding of Gilmore Girls. It also centers entirely around coffee in a small town.

The romance is pretty obvious and to be honest the book in general was very predictable, but in such a lovely calming way. I would love to read more stories like this!

I really liked this story, I mean who doesnt love witches ? It was whimsical and sweet with a sneaky subtle magic woven throughout. The characters were really characters! I loved this romance a lot because it turned out the nice guy was really a nice guy, not just someone turned nice by good sex or a stroke of conscience! The only thing I'd liked more of was the family history and back story, prequel maybe??? That would be fun.

Witchy Coffee is a light-hearted, cozy, romantic comedy perfect to read curled up in your favourite chair with a cup of hot coffee.

Erin Ritch has created a world that is charming, with quirky and fun characters that you immediately love. The writing and storytelling are so engaging, I could overlook the slightly rushed ending. This is a delightful read for all romance lovers.

Kind of cute. Had a lot of potential, but didn't quite deliver. I feel like there wasn't enough build up. The romance felt a little rushed. The dialogue didn't sit with me. I actually feel like if would have benefited being a bit longer, though it also felt a little tell and not show, you know?

This was a super fast, easy read (I finished in a few hours) and light and fun. I'd say this is a cozy story...not quite a rance, not quite a family drama, just cozy fiction. It takes place in a small town on the Oregon coast during Christmas/New Years and it's centered around a coffee shop. I loved the setting and the holiday vibe and the small town and all the coffee but that's about all. I felt the characters seemed poorly developed, the dialogue didn't mesh well sometimes and the relationship between Florence and Samson needed more build up. Their romance was kind of an enemies to lovers/slow burn but it also felt like a side story that didn't get developed enough for a relationship at the end to make sense. The magic part of it was a little strange but seemed kind of believable until the very end when it just went totally unrealistic and fake. These are my own opinions though so If you love small town settings, coffee shops, family stories, and enemies to lovers trope then you should give this one a try.

Loosing her job at a coffee shop in Portland just before Christmas holidays approaching, Florence finds her self going back to Windia, the town she grew up in. Upon going back to her town, as she falls back into the comfort of home and routine, she finds herself being attracted to a handsome stranger named Samson. Too bad, turns out he is the competitor's son who is trying to buy their family coffee shop. As Florence try to fight her competition and send him on his way out of town, she also needs to fight her connection towards him. If only fighting your feelings were that simple.

The mood and scenery settings of Windia is wonderful. I have loved all the characters through out the story and it involves perfect amount of magic in it.
In short, if you're looking for quick paced, comfy witch romance read with enemies-to-lovers trope, you should definitely try Witchy Coffee by Erin Ritch.

This was such a cute story (love enemies-to-lovers!) and would make an adorable holiday rom-com film. I really enjoyed Florence’s character and her grandmother was hilarious. The story was a quick read, kept me smiling and was hard to put down!

I thought that this was a fun sweet read! I love witches, coffee and strong female characters. So the title grabbed me right away. Florence was one tough cookie and I loved reading her family coffee drama.

This is a new to me author and when I saw it was to do with witches I just had to get it. I love anything witches loved watching Charmed, Practical Magic, Hocus Pocus so I was excited to read this.

It was a cute quick read but there was gaps and it felt a little rushed but I did enjoy it

This was a nice, light, quick read. The characters were likable and setting was charming. This book kinda just felt rushed? The story is fine but was missing things. The romance fell flat. We didn’t get enough of them. And they went from rivals to lovers in short span with no built chemistry between.

There wasn’t enough magic elements it just seemed to just be added randomly throughout the story.

Witchy Coffee is a perfect cozy season read if you’re looking for a Hallmark romance! Set in a small costal town in Oregon, Witchy Coffee sees Florence return home for winter break after being fired from unceremoniously just before Christmas from her coffee cart job in Portland. What she isn’t expecting is a battle to save her family business from the (cute) son of a PNW coffee empire — the one she was just fired from. An easy, holiday enemies-to-lovers read.

My one complaint, as a few other reviewers mentioned, is the length! The book is about 222 pages, and there isn’t a lot of interaction in the build up of our main characters romance. Magic is real, but we don’t get a lot of explanation there, either. It would have been great to get a bit more, learn more about Samson, and really get to see Florence and Samson fall in love with each other a little more.

Overall, a quick and decent read. Content warning: the main character is dealing with massive grief, so if that’s something you’re avoiding right now, this might not be the read for you.

Witchy Coffee is an easy, predictable read. The story is cute. At times it gave me very good Practical Magic vibes. Unfortunately, there are gaps in the narrative. The lead couple doesn't spend enough time together for me to believe that they belong together. And the writer doesn't tell the story well enough to convince me that "some things are just meant to be". The bad boss gets a surprise redemption in the end from out of absolutely nowhere. The little "is it magic or just coincidence?" moments are cute, but don't at all ramp up and the big magical finale comes out of left field. There are little continuity errors that aren't actually continuity errors but feel like they are due to poor storytelling.

All in all, the book feels like a sort of Practical Magic fanfiction that falls short on the charm of that story and really just made me want to go watch the movie again.

I really enjoyed reading it. It was a simple read with a sweet story.
I liked the fact that Florence put her family first and would do anything to keep the family business.
The ending was not really what I was expecting, but I loved it.

I found that it picked up for me around the 65% mark. I wanted more interactions between Florence and Samson to build the tension between them. There was one moment where they had some fun banter between them but that was it — I just wanted more. I just felt that with their little interactions I didn’t really understand their attraction to each other and their relationship seemed forced. I feel like if this book was a little longer to allow for more meaningful interactions and more witty banter it would have made their relationship more convincing.

This was super lovely! It was a nice, quick read but didn't feel under-developed or under-written. This book is charming and cozy, and was exactly what I was hoping for based on the title and description.
