Just finished reading this in the early hours and my first book by this author and won't be my last. They have taken me on an emotional roller coaster and ripped by heart to pieces and slowly put it back together again. A story of human emotion love and overcoming lives obstacles and a reminder to live every day like it's your last as you never know what's round the corner and in one split second everything can change. A story of romance and finding true love and second chances against all odds.

When Finn and Zoe meet, they fall in love hard and fast. But Finn is about to go travelling, fulfilling a promise to his late sister to raise money in support of her illness. It's terrible timing, but Zoe knows their feelings are strong enough to stand the test of time.
Wow what a book. I am still sat thinking about this book even though I finished it a few days ago. I cannot write a review to do this book justice. I was hooked from the first page. The writing is superb and enthralling and overall, I just loved this book!

When Finn and Zoe meet on New Year’s Eve they spend the next few days together. They fall in love incredibly quickly but the timing of the meeting is terrible as Finn is just about to go travelling to raise money in support of his sisters illness.

While Finn is travelling, Zoe is hit by a truck and suffers a life changing injury. She believes Finn could no longer love her so she cuts him out of her life.

I am in two minds about this novel. I really enjoyed it but there were some elements that I didn’t, for example Zoe taking the choice away from Finn about how he will react to her and her life after the accident.

I love Tammy Robinson’s books and was excited to read this one. This was such a lovely well written story which I finished in two sittings as I couldn’t put it down. Her books certainly never disappoint

This novel is a’ boy meets girl’ romantic story but sadly with heart breaking complications. From the word GO I rooted for Finn and Zoe, hoping that they could overcome the problems that separated them after their fledgling whirlwind romance. They both knew it was true love.
The attraction between them Zoe and Finn was instantaneous; there was no doubt about that. There was a dynamic, magical fizz of connection and attraction mixed together: indeed a rare love at first sight’ situation. The first problem raised its ugly head when Finn explained to Zoe that he was committed to partaking in a cycle ride in Africa. He was raising money in support of his sister and he had made a decision he could not change. He explained the circumstances and Zoe was full of admiration for him, promising that she would stay true to him and be waiting for his return. She was serious and nothing would make her break her promise. She was as sure as ever she could be. There were no hidden agendas and they both felt their love was true and would last forever and withstand a time away from each other.
They kept in touch throughout the time that Finn was travelling. Their feelings were enhanced by their temporary parting. They couldn’t wait for their emails to arrive and read the communications avidly and multiple times. Zoe couldn’t wait to see Finn again. However, although Zoe was faithful to Finn and still madly in love with him, when he returned home and tried to reconnect with her, she blocked him. She had to, she knew that for certain. It could never be the same as her life had changed forever while Finn was away.
He was flabbergasted. He went to her home but she had gone. He contacted the school that she worked in, but he was told she was no longer there. They could not give any details of a forwarding address because of data protection. Finn kept searching for her. He even posted flyers asking for help to find her. She heard about it and was heartbroken. You see she still loved him, but she wanted to protect him. It didn’t make sense to Finn. Zoe could not bring herself to explain to him, but she was adamant that she was doing what was best for him.
This story was addictive, beautifully told and full of emotion. I turned the pages eagerly, wanting to know what would happen next. I thought the characters were carefully developed and true to life. My two favourites were Finn and Zoe’s Dad. I didn’t agree with the way Zoe behaved when Finn came home, but I could understand her thought processes. Finn was not shallow and he deserved better from her. I also thought she was very harsh on her father at times, but I did understand her reasoning – I just didn’t like it. I thought she took it too far.

I had no idea what this book is about as I difnt read the synopsis, as I love all of Tammy Robinson's books. Boy, this was no exception. I think I cried through most of it, and much as I wanted to savour the fabulous story, I had to race through it to find out what happens in the end. I think this story will stay with me a long time.

Tammy Robinson writes the most beautiful books, she really knows how to pull on your heart strings!

The only bad thing about this book is that it ended too soon! Can we have a sequel please?

Zoe meets Finn when she’s out for the night with her best friend. As a dare she kisses him, and thus starts what looks like it’ll be a wonderful relationship. A snatched weekend in the wilds and Zoe thinks she’s in love.
Timing is everything…so when Finn reveals he’s booked to go on a six month long trip that could be it, but they pledge to stay in touch and meet up later.
Unfortunately, only a month before Finn is due to return Zoe is in an accident. Her leg has to be amputated and her life is turned upside down.
Couldn’t help but feel Zoe had a lot thrown at her. Learning about her past showed her strength of character, but she was incredibly judgmental and took it upon herself to make decisions she had no right to make. Ghosting someone without letting them know the truth is cruel. She is called out on this - eventually - but it took a while.
The cynical part of me can’t imagine such a fledgling encounter being so amazing that you’d not give up on it after being away for months and ignored. Romantics will love this, and any reservations I have about it probably say more about me.
Thanks to NetGalley for letting me read this before publication.

Tammy Robinson always writes really emotional stories. This one was no exception. A beautiful story that was emotional, heart wrenching and a great read.
I smiled, I laughed and I cried. The characters were credible and interesting and well portrayed. I loved the way the relationship between Zoe and her father was developed.
Highly recommend reading this book. I could not put it down and read it avidly, praying for a happy ending. **no spoilers **
My thanks to NetGalley and the publishers for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.
