If I was a scientist – and I am VERY much not a scientist – I would leave here the compound symbols for perfection. Alas I have to find words instead, and it's difficult to express quite how much I loved this book without rambling. Let's go with … original, clever, hilarious, devastating, infuriating and brilliant for starters. Strong women fighting for justice and equality against the odds. A truly wonderful cast of characters. An appreciation for science that is way above anything I ever learned at school. What has to be one of the best dogs ever to appear in fiction. All ingredients for a novel I was hooked on from page one and mourned when it was done. Have told pretty much everyone I have spoken to since to pre order.
