I loved the positivity throughout this book. Admittedly, I don't know much about Marilyn Monroe biographically, but this book teases out the some really important messages for young people from her life.
Be yourself, Don't shrink next to others, even those you really admire. Dream big. Work to get to where you want to be.
Some of the books in these series are a little loaded for readers at the younger end of the recommended age range but my nearly 5 year old really enjoyed the Marilyn Monroe edition. Beautifully illustrated with just the right amount of information.

I really enjoy the book in this series and I am a huge Marilyn fan but I was a little disappointed with this one and it did leave me wanting more, it almost felt like the story was only part completed.

The cover is not the image I would have thought would have suited the book as Marilyn was glamorous and stunningly attractive and the image just does not do her justice and the images inside are much better.

It is 3.5 stars from me for this one, rounded up to 4 stars for Goodreads and Amazon – definitely looking forward to the next book!

This book about Marilyn Monroe which is part of the Little People Big Dreams series has beautiful illustrations and is about a wonderful actress who I grew up admiring. The colours and illustrations are engaging and the text is short however I did not find it as informative or engaging as others in the series where I have learnt things I didn't know. This seemed to lack basic information unfortunately.

Always want to read the latest book in the little people big dreams series. I love this series and think they are so fantastic to introduce children to the most iconic people that have ever lived.

This book was great, but just felt that they missed out some of the slightly more darker parts to Marilyn Munroe's life. I appreciate that not everything would be appropriate for a young readership, but her life wasn't all rainbows.
On another note though, I didn't know that Munroe created her own production company - very interesting.

Marilyn Monroe by Maria Isabel Sanchez Vegara is another release in the Little People, Big Dreams series, which I have reviewed frequently on here. I just love these little books. They are always packed with facts about the person who they are writing about and full of colourful illustrations throughout.

This book is about the all time beauty Marilyn Monroe.........who started he life out as Norma Jeane. She grew up between foster homes, an orphanage, and a family friend’s house—where she was forbidden to watch movies. Through her difficult childhood and teen years, she dreamed of becoming an actress.
Then, one day, a photographer spotted her and gave her a modelling contract, and from this day she was “Marilyn Monroe.” Though much-admired, she suffered from pre-performance anxiety, which was a challenge for her in her career. Her films grossed over $200 million but she was known to have said: “I don't want to make money. I just want to be wonderful.” This inspiring book features stylish and quirky illustrations and extra facts at the back, including a biographical timeline with historical photos and a detailed profile of the star’s life.

I found this little book full of easy to read, with great Illustrations throughout this small book.
It's one you should definitely buy for your little readers so they can learn about her.......

Marilyn Monroe was loved by so many people and many had a poster of her hanging on their bedroom wall!!!!
My grandad even had a photo in his wallet of her with my nan's photo! (Bless Him)

I am so glad these books are being published and I highly recommend all of these books
