How to greet a gran is such a sweet book. It shows (unfortunatly. I would have loved if more countries were included) only specific countries and what a gran is called there. The Illustrations are so cute and i love the little wisdom from each 'gran'. It's also interesting to see how they are treated and viewed and you also learn a little bit about traditions or traditional clothes in other cultures/countries.

I love the idea of this book. The execution, all the little information, the colour palette and the illustrations are adorable. But, I hoped to see more Grans from all around the world, not just selected countries.

A beautifully illustrated and creatively written book about the different names
People use for grandma. Such a sweet book. I will definitely use it in school to help the children. Understand why people use different names for their grandparents.

How to Greet a Gran is such a gorgeous book. I will not be alone in viewing my granny as one of my favourite relations and I know that for my children, their nana and nanny are their favourite people. I love how the book taps into this and their typical loveable qualities. The book details the different names for ‘Gran’ in different countries and how they are treated and viewed in different cultures. This is all accompanied by beautiful illustrations. Me and my children loved it.
