Such a warm and lovely book. This one kept me reading late and I didn't even mind.
Teacher Bella Moore has a lot on her mind, getting her primary students ready for the holiday school program is taking her time and thoughts. When she arrives home a bit early and discovers her boyfriend preparing to leave her for another woman, she never saw it coming.
When she seems less fortunate families in her neighborhood struggling to buy Christmas gifts for their families she has a plan she implemented where gift tags with needs are hung from a Christmas tree and others donate the gifts. She then wraps and delivers the gifts.
Her neighbor Nick is worried he won't be able to have the special holiday his son would like this year as a single dad. His mother has gone away and the son, Freddie misses her tremendously. As Nick and Freddie volunteer to help Bella with her Christmas charity they draw closer. Nick's wife and Freddies mom returns to the family right before Christmas and is ready for a second chance. Will Bella's newfound feelings be for naught, or will it be a shiny and sparkly holiday, one to remember? I read this quickly, such a delightful read.

The perfect Christmas gift is the perfect Christmas read to get cosy with, it's a predictable read but it still had me wanting to keep reading.

I must firstly apologise for the amount of time it has taken me to provide a review of this book, my health was rather bad for quite some time, something that had me in hospital on numerous occasions and simply didnt leave me with the time I once had to do what I love most.

Unfortunately that does mean I have missed the archive date for many of these books, so It would feel unjust throwing any review together without being able to pay attention to each novel properly.

However, I am now back to reading as before and look forward to sharing my honest reviews as always going forward. I thank you f0r the patience and understanding throughout x

A cute, festive read. The Perfect Christmas Gift is a good read. There are some real heartwarming moments in this book and it really highlights the stress that Christmas can cause people who are struggling financially. Bella was the sweetest character. Her compassion, generosity and sweet nature made her so likeable. Nick was so lovely too and his love for Freddie was so heartwarming. You really can't help but root for Bella and Nice the whole way through the book.

Who doesn’t love a Xmas festive read. I adored this book. This book gave me hallmark Xmas movie vibes. This book is full of festive cheer and will certainly put a smile on your face. I loved the village setting and the character set up!

This has been on my NetGalley shelf for over a year, and I still haven’t picked it up. I've tried, but it just isn't for me (right now). I hope other people enjoy it more than I did.

Loved loved loved it!! I am a huge fan of Christmas and Christmas books so I never actually read what they are about. This was a fabulous love story which I read in one go. It has everything needed for a fantastic and special book.

Great Christmas read to get into the right mood! It was such a cozy read with romance and adorable themes! Highly recommended!

Moving, magical and full of romance and family!
This is such a sweetly moving story, Bella is left heartbroken just before Christmas, instead of wailing along to power ballads while eating herway through her own body's weight in Ben and Jerry's (which is what we normal humans would do) she decides to throw herself into setting up the marvellous Christmas Giving Tree, for the community which does exactly what it says on the tin and in the prosecc she comes face to face with handsome hunk; Nick. Ouh, La La!!!
As you would expect this story is all about love, romance, Christmas, kindness, community, family, friendship - mix a little drama and huge amounts of Christmas cheer and emotion and you have a brilliantly magical love story which has all the feels, all the magical and all the sparkle.
A definite must read!!

Between the Christmas giving tree idea and the backdrop of a primary school, this book is simply adorable. Having worked in education for many years, some parts of the story really stood out for me, and I found them just as compelling as the romance. Which is also fab, as is the wonderfully festive atmosphere.

A great Christmas read which is guaranteed to get you in the mood for the real event.

A nice read but with a lot of repetition of the story between characters telling each other the same info - as a reader I dont need it repeated and dont understand why the author thought it was needed.

Loved this book.
Ginger has a wonderful way of building characters that leap out of the page and that you really care about. Christmas magic oozes throughout and this is the perfect book to snuggle down with

Romantic Christmas read that has you gripped from the first pages. Curl up and immerse yourself in village life. This story brings a community together where no-one is left out at Christmas time.

For anyone that enjoys the likes of Katie Fforde, Jo Thomas and Jaimie Adams then Katie Ginger is yet another author you need to add to your TBR pile. Similar style to the above an excellent read especially as its a Christmas book! Lovely story, heartbreaking in parts .this completely sucks you in so if you are planning on reading this do not make any other plans for the day. Thoroughly recommend

Lovely feel good book to read. It was a joy to read. Lovely characters. Great plot. The book was charming. Very well written. I’d definitely recommend this book. Idyllic location that set the tone of the book to perfection. Perfect seasonal book to get you in the mood for the festive season.

This was my first novel from Katie Ginger and I was not disappointed. A fun, feel good christmas novel, perfect for getting you into the christmas spirit. I found this one a little slow but still enjoyed it.

It’s the first book I’ve read by Katie Ginger, and it won’t be the last. Lovely, feel good story. The characters were so relatable I really felt for them and wanted to be part of their lives. Just right to get you in the Christmas mood.
