This is a very short pamphlet that really serves as an introduction to the historical link between policing and slavery as well as modern implication for police abolition in North America. There's a lot to chew on here and a lot of other works referenced. I'm not sure anyone not already convinced will have their minds changed by such a short work, but I learned a lot from it and now know where to look to verify the arguments and learn more.

Thank you to NetGalley for an advance reader copy of this book.

I really enjoyed On Property by Rinaldo Walcott, I thought it was incredibly interesting and insightful and I found myself learning a lot about from this book.
