A good book to help you build trust and confidence - trust in yourself and trust in others; and confidence in yourself, and your interactions with others.

Chock full of examples to illustrate different professional and personal growth challenges. While there are helpful tidbits throughout, this ultimately did not read much differently than the many other books in this genre (business/self-help). If you’re a fan of these sorts of books, this one should be right up your alley.

Thank you to NetGalley for the ARC.

Do you ever struggle to be in touch with your emotions and what is actually causing your emotions? Do you ever get lost in what people think of you, not because you care but because you rely on others to add to your worth? Maybe you aren't even aware you feel these things. That is what made me read this. I am sensitive but I also avoid certain emotions because I feel unworthy. It is healthy and important to maintain a sense of composure so we can deal with and handle our emotions and whatever is causing those emotions. This was a fantastic read. I would say half of it was new to me and the other was stuff I knew but really hadn't thought of until reading.

I think this would be a great read for parents or anybody who is stepping into a new life chapter. It is so important to get emotions and thier causes in line so that we can live to our max potential.

Lots of practical advice and examples from the workplace. Some really helped me on my journey, some didn't quite do anything for me. It was enjoyable and somewhat helpful.

Being at an executive level means not only responsibility but also ability to project your executive presence. This is what this book is about. It is not only about having the title, it is about being able to perform according to this title. One of the key things is being able to project your executive presence as a woman and.. It is not only about being confident, it has multiple factors that deliver the whole picture. The book teaches this through smart live stories when we can recognize ourselves.
