Honestly, if there was one way I could really describe this book it would be a mix between science fiction and of course - fantasy. I think because it’s such a compelling read, the best way that you could read something like this is by consuming every word individually and really take in everything that the author is saying. When you begin to read it immediately brings your attenion in the characters and what the author is trying to convey and the writing is so beautiful it consumes you first hand completely. There are several things going on which is why it will be a little hard to follow at times but the author has written it in such a way that you won’t feel like you’re being neglected when reading. I’m throughly excited to check out more works from this author. This was an easy 5 out of 5 stars book! What a delight to read.

I cannot get to the point of being interested in or caring about the characters and their fate. The world building is also a bit overwhelming for me. I love fantasy but when I have to work to hard to remember the quirks of a world I lose interest.

It's such a great premise I hope others are able to truly dive in and enjoy.

This book has a little bit of fantasy, a little bit of science, and a little bit of politics. Overall a great sci-fi fantasy book. This is definitely one you have to read slow and take your time with but I fell in love with most of the characters no matter how small they were to the plot of the story. Genuinely amazing characters.

It was a bit confusing in the sense that there were so many things going on. It was hard to keep track of every subplot and storyline but still managed to be enjoyable. The first couple of chapters are jampacked with the world building but that is usual for any fantasy novel and it didn’t take away from my enjoyment of the book. I don’t wanna go into too many details because I feel like it will spoil everything that’s going on but I definitely recommend this book!
