Tried reading this one and it just was not meant for me. This does not mean that it is not a good book, I just was not in the right place to be reading it and have decided to not try picking it up anytime in the near future. May revisit this one during the holiday season but it is not a priority for me at this point - will update my review if I read it further.

This book was not what I expected. I loved the idea of helping others and finding great friends at the same time. It was a true Christmas story and a really enjoyable read

Pretty middle of the road for me. The plot was well-rounded and well crafted but Poppy was a bit over the top my taste and some of the writing was a bit repetitive.

With the craziness of the holidays I always gravitate towards light hearted, romantic Christmas stories - both on television and in print. I adored this book! I love how Poppy sprung into action, seemingly for her now ex-bf, George, but ultimately to unknowingly better herself. This story was incredible relatable for me. We've all our most vulnerable around the holidays and who hasn't tried to show their recent ex what they're missing out on?

Thanks Netgalley and the Publisher. I really like this authors books.
It was a cute story with lovely characters. I really enjoyed. This was a 3.5 stars for me.

This was a really cute and festive read. The musical touch was obviously really fun. And childhood friends to lovers can never go wrong. So it was a sweet mix. I would have liked to know the female protagonist a little better though.

A cute Christmas read! I thought the overall storyline was very sweet, and Poppy was such a likeable character!

In this story, Poppy, our MC, is dumped by her boyfriend of five years. She is feeling completely lost without him and decides to try and make a plan to win him back. While I was hesitant to read a story about a girl trying to win her boyfriend back, this book was a winner! It was light and humorous- perfect for the holiday season.

The character development, self discovery and growth was great. The romance was decent. I didn’t really like the premise of the book though. For me this was just subpar.

Another cute holiday book! This one was the warm and cozy holiday vibes I needed in these chilly months. I will certainly be buying copies for my Christmas loving friends! I would love to see more books like this from Neep.

Twelve Days to Save Christmas by Elizabeth Neep is a contemporary romance that is of course set during the Christmas holiday season. The romance side of this is the character trying to save her romance which turns into a tale of self discovery too.

Poppy has been in a relationship with her boyfriend, George, for five years now and is planning a wonderful Christmas with George’s family. However, George tells Poppy he just isn’t happy and wants to end their relationship right before the holidays which gives Poppy twelve days to change George’s mind and save their Christmas.

Twelve Days to Save Christmas by Elizabeth Neep was a humorous Christmas story. I’m not overly a fan of chasing down a boyfriend so I went into this one a bit on the hesitant side with maybe a couple of eye rolls here and there. However, I did for the most part enjoy the humor and definitely enjoyed the character growth along the way which made this one for an alright read in the end for me.

I received an advance copy from the publisher via NetGalley.

I read this book over my Christmas holidays and really loved it. The setting for the story and the concept is new and slightly more unpredictable than the rest of your average romcom novels! I also thoroughly enjoyed all the independent woman feels I got from this as the main character really starts to shine and do things for herself instead of to please her ex-boyfriend. All in all a great read!

This was a perfect, heart-warming Christmas read. I loved the characters in this book, especially Poppy. This book is about finding yourself, and the value of friendship. I can definitely see this book being made into a film for the holiday season.

I loved this book; it was such a lovely story and has also made me want to volunteer! Great characters and one I would even read again; it was so heart-warming.

Thank you NetGalley for my complimentary copy in return for my honest review.

What a fun, upbeat read. This was my first read by Elizabeth Neep, but most definitely not my last.

Poppy is dealing with her recent breakup during the holiday. She devises a plan to win her beloved George back and prove she is the independent, glowing queen he fell for to begin with.......but maybe she's better off? (I sure think so.) I found this to be the typical Hallmark meets feminist queen read, but would recommend it for sure.

I struggle staying entertained with romances unless there is a mystery included, but this was a fun, festive way to get me in the mood. It had me wanting to binge my favorite Christmas movies and drink cocoa.

I loved this book so much. I loved that the main character is so stubborn in getting what she wants that it makes her very ambitious. At the same time the things she goes through changes her perspective on life and through it all what we get is a beautiful T-shirt about transformation and figuring out what we want in life.

A fun festive read! I am always quite hesitant about reading any books about Christmas as they can be quite fluffy, this wasn't anywhere near as fluffy as I thought it would be. Poppy is quite a loveable character, she has severe imposter syndrome/self doubt issues, which isn’t helped when her long term boyfriend ends their relationship.

She starts a mission to try and win him back, by showing him her independent side. She volunteers, swims in a freeing cold lake and a tiny bikini, all in the hope of winning George back.

It’s a great book, but it’s not going to blow your mind.

Twelve Days to Save Christmas was all about Poppy discovering, and learning to love, herself.

Poppy is shocked when her boyfriend, George, breaks up with her out of the blue one month before Christmas. She is determined to win him back. She gets a new job, joins a choir and starts working out all to get George's attention.

Overall, the idea of this book sounded cute, but, Poppy was such a needy, sad character. I couldn't relate to her at all. Her whole existence (until the very end) was tied to making George happy and love her. It felt so pathetic. At the end of the book (spoiler) she does end things with George, but she falls right into dating another man. I wanted Poppy to end the story being happy with herself and independent of a man or a man's opinion, but, sadly, the book did not end this way.

I still gave the book three stars because I see where the author was trying to get with this book, and it was feeling good-ish (kind of?), but it was def a 2.5 stars rounded up to three.

I wouldn't recommend this book, but I appreciate the chance to read, rate and review it. Thank you!

This was a fun Christmas read. It had all it needed for a festive read, a life turned upside down. A broken heart, and the chance of redemption...where ot doesn't always end up wanted. With a lovely feel good ending that shows us that what we want isn't always what is the best for us

I enjoyed this book ! It's light & funny on the surface, but it also digs deeper to connect with readers and deal with real issues. If you're looking for a feel-good holiday book, add this one to your TBR. I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for future books from this author & will check out her back catalogue.
