The Country Village series by Cathy Lake has been a wonderful series and this one is no exception. Full of warmth and emotion with the sound of wedding bells too. Pleased to see there is another in the series next year.

Who doesn’t love a wedding at Christmas, all magical and beautiful! Where this is where Hazel and Jack realise there true feelings for each other. Both have suffered in their relationships emotionally so let’s hope being together they can over come it and find love with each other. A keep pace book read on one sitting.

I loved going back to Little Bramble and seeing what everyone was up to since the last book. This is the story about Clare and Sam and their big wedding day. Hazel has not long since moved to the village and she is going to help them organise the wedding as she is a wedding planner. But why did Hazel leave Edinburgh and is this little village the best place to forget about what happened before? Can Hazel find her happiness here in Little Bramble? and how will the wedding of the century go down. I loved reading about what the characters of Little Bramble were up to, seeing old faces and meeting new faces, it is such a warm and uplifting read that is a perfect pick me up. I would love to go to Little Bramble, Cathy writes so that the place sounds so inviting and scenic. I look forward to the next installment in this series. They have all been so great so far.

This is a pleasantly cosy read about two individuals both dealing with heartbreak and betrayal, both find themselves in the village of Little Bramble where they hope to start to heal and move on. This is the third book in the Little Bramble series, I read the first but not the second so it was good to see how the characters from the first were moving on however I didn’t feel that I was missing any backstory. The village itself has a wonderful feeling to it, a real community and the characters all have good depth, I like that this was told from both perspectives as it gave a really good picture of everything both had gone through and their emotions now. There’s a lot of warmth to this and it’s a nice uplifting story with a good mix of feelings and emotions thrown in.

I've read all 3 books in this series and every time I read a new one that becomes my favourite, the same has happened this time!

The characters are instantly loveable, especially Hazel and Kyle, I loved reading the story from various characters side of the story - a wonderful Christmassy read.
