This book was received as an ARC from Storey Publishing - Storey Publishing, LLC through Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. Opinions and thoughts expressed in this review are completely my own.

I just have to say one thing before I start this review.... Where was this book when I was a child? I've struggled throughout my entire life with sleep, and tried everything imaginable to improve my sleep. Even though this book's target audience is young children, Tzvia Gover gave some thoughtful, helpful, and easy to implement tips that'll help children of all ages with time and patience. I see this book all over the libraries and bookstores across the nation, so I know that a lot of families worldwide will be seeking, and purchasing this book. Leslea Newman's illustrations add a colorful perception that will attract children, parents, and caregivers worldwide to end this sleep crisis and hopefully try to help cure, and prevent insomnia once and for all.

A clever guide to help with sleep and change healthy lives worldwide. This book deserves 5 stars.

The first thing to notice are the sleeping eyes in the word Sleep on the cover.
The artist Vivian Mineker draws starry eyes and other delightful illustrations inside the book.
Even monster nightmares don’t look scary.

The author gave a few great suggestions for a good night’s sleep…
What to do with your worries?
What’s better to count than the usual sheep? What are things to make?
Breathing exercises, how can you do them?

Highly recommended book can’t wait for a sleepover to read to the kids! Now excuse me ZzzZzZzzz......

This is a beautiful children's book about the importance of sleep and informs us on ways to get a better night's rest. Some of the ideas can be helpful for adults as well. There is creative info on establishing a nighttime routine - ideas that are beneficial - some a bit outside the box - I found them innovative. There is also information about dreams and ways children can cope with emotions they may feel from dreams. The illustrations are charming - the book has a cozy, peaceful feel. It is written in language that children can understand. It is a delightful book to share with a child and a good book to add to a parent's tool box.

Oh I LOVED this! Such a warm illustrative style. And suggestions are fantastic — presented simply enough for young children and their (also tired!) grownups.

Sending good sleep vibes to anyone reading this 💛

So appreciate seeing an advance e-copy of this, thanks to the publisher and NetGalley. Can’t wait to share it with my daughter.

How to Sleep Tight Through the Night by Tzivia Gover and illustrated by Leslea Newman was a wonderful surprise. I wasn't sure what to expect, but as a mom of three young kids, I was curious to see what a book about sleeping through the night would be about. Not only does this book explain to children why it's important to get a good night's sleep, it gives tips and activities for how to achieve this goal. As a parent, I want to try creating some of the art activities myself! This book also addresses the different issues kids might encounter if they are having trouble going to sleep. On the flipside, it also provides activities for how to enjoy your sleep via dreaming and falling asleep. This is a great engaging book on sleep for kids. I expect that kids will be able to refer back to it many times during their childhood.

This was an inviting and relaxing book with beautiful illustrations to attract children and adults alike. Looking at the book together allowed lots of space to think about sleep, why it is good for us, how to make going to sleep (and our enjoyment of sleep) even better. In our household it made us to think about how to set up our ‘going to bed’ routine in a more structured way to help us wind down (for example selecting cuddlees to join us and ideas of what we would like to dream about as we started to drift into sleep). There were lots of varied ideas to try out, some more appropriate for older kids. Overall, it showed sleep’s importance to give us energy and keep us healthy, while it emphasised how fun it can be too! Thank you Netgalley, the publishers and author for an advance copy in exchange for this independent and honest review.

This cheerfully illustrated book addresses kids directly. It offers many excellent suggestions for ways to get to sleep with better routines and projects. Just a few of these include creating an appealing journal and writing in it; making a bed seem cozy and inviting; swapping plugs for pages (yes!) and many more. Some of these use mindfulness techniques as, for example, gratitude and breathing practices.

This book could perhaps best be read by an adult and child together. The adult encouragement will be helpful as will the adult’s enthusiasm about a child working on some of the projects. Many of these involve arts and crafts.

This book is an excellent one for helping children to sleep better. Definitely wish that I had this one when my kids were young. By the way, some of these suggestions will also be helpful to adults.

Many thanks to NetGalley and Storey publishing for this title. All opinions are my own.

"How to Sleep Tight through the Night" is a cute book with helpful suggestions for falling asleep. It would be good for school-aged kids.

As a mom of toddler who has never been a great sleeper, I was thrilled with the thought of helping my child sleep through the night. Unfortunately, I think this book is more for kids 5-10. The art is great, there are lots of cute ideas for kids. But, it’s definitely not for exhausted parents of toddlers.

I really liked how this book has different ideas to help children sleep at night. I read this a few different times with my daughter and she took different ideas to help her sleep. She liked the dream notebook idea. We really liked the dreamy illustrations too.
