This is a really nice book. Beautifully illustrated and full of very good ideas. It goes from simple breathing techniques to visualising stories and a lot of advice for modern kids, for example shutting off electronics before bedtime and just reading a book or doing a puzzle. It is not a story book as such but more a collection of ideas and tips, illustrated such that they can be shared with kids. It is a menu from which parents and kids can pick according to their own wishes, and there are ideas that will help both! There will for sure be something in this book for everyone and no sleepless nights anymore.

As an adult who likes children's book and who also has sleep problem, I chose How to Sleep Tight though The Night. It had in fact great tips to fall asleep. It's a good book to add in your bedside book collection.

Thanks NetGalley for the preview!

This book was adorable! It provided many different methods of relaxation and preparation for sleep. I could see this being helpful for children and even many adults. I loved the illustrations and that no one page felt too busy. The calming color scheme really provided an eye relief when reading. Can't wait to try these tips myself and with my future kiddo!

Having a child who has issues sleeping through the night this was a fabulous book that offered many suggestions. The text is simplistic and straight forward where my 5 year old enjoyed reading through it with me. The images also kept him engaged and offered suggestions on how to follow through with the suggestions. We will be trying some of these ideas to see if they help improve his sleeping.

Thank you to Netgalley for the ARC

I will preface this with say I don't have kids. Now, you're probably thinking 'Cassie, why are you reading and reviewing a book about bedtime for kids?' which is fair. But I have chronic insomnia and nothing else has worked so... I figure a different type of tip might help (It's not going to hurt, right?).

I love the look of the book. The illustrations are bold, colourful and fun. The tone of the writing is straight-forward, informative, and easy to understand, but without feeling like it's condescending or talking down to the reader. I love the mix of sleep ideas - both how to get to sleep and what to do when waking up from a bad dream. They were all very different ideas, much more practical and interesting than the insomnia advice you get for adults. I think my favourites are falling in love with my bed, listing things from 'A to Zzzz' and imagining myself walking down the street and everything I see. Will definitely be trying those to see if they help!

There were a few formatting errors which made a couple of the pages a little tricky to parse but overall it was a cute, fun, interesting, read

What a lovely treasure of a book. This is a sensitive, well written, well illustrated book to help and guide children through to a sound, peaceful sleep. It is engaging and full of peaceful, helpful tips that teach children to be mindful at bedtime in an age appropriate manner. Would definitely recommend..

Thank you to Storey Publishing and Netgalley for an eARC of this book to read and review.

This is a beautifully illustrated self-help book for kids all about establishing good sleep habits and conquering bedtime anxieties. Some of the tips even helped me in my 30s! Not only is it filled to the brim with great tips but it also talks about bad dreams, offers advice on how to manage emotions and includes a lovely little dream dictionary. Overall, this is a lovely book that I would definitely keep on my son's bookshelf to reference throughout his childhood.

A lovely book that aims to offer a variety of very do-able ideas and solutions for the reluctant/difficult sleeper in the house.
It is written and illustrated in a very child friendly manner, and my eldest (5.5 years old) enjoyed reading it with me and liked any of the suggestions to do with deams or counting especially.
I will be trying some of the suggestions over the coming weeks, so cannot comment on its effectiveness, but the suggestions are all relatively practical, easy and are child-centred so remain optimistic!

How to Sleep Tight through the Night by Tzivia Gover and Lesléa Newman is a great book for those who enjoy Goodnight Moon, by Margaret Wise Brown, and Twinkle Twinkle, Little Car, by Kate Dopirak. This book will make bedtime more fun for children and their parents. The bold illustrations are beautiful and will appeal to kids and help calm them down before bed. There are tons of awesome tips to help kids wind down for the night, and includes lots of interesting facts behind the science of sleep. This book is great for parents and kids who want to make bedtime more enjoyable!

This book has lots of wonderful ideas for children and their adults to do together. There are lots of discussion topics, and ways to help address them.

Great book for those with Tiny Humans who have a hard time getting into bed. Definitely something to look at earlier in the day. Select some activities, discuss bedtime, then revisit when enjoying your nighttime routine.

Will be adding this book to my collection.

I really enjoyed reading "How to Sleep Tight through the Night." The illustrations are beautiful and the book gives a lot of very practical tips for children who need some extra help falling asleep or dealing with bad dreams and sleep anxieties. I have two children and I would never have thought of some of the tips that the authors mention in the book. There are also several fun crafts that you can do with your kids to help with bedtime struggles. The book also does a great job of walking through different emotions that might come from a dream and giving explanations that a child can understand. This book will be a very helpuful tool for parents with children who need some extra bedtime help!

Surely I'm not the only parent that has a child that resists sleep as if they will miss out on all the interesting and exciting things while they're asleep lol? This book is a fun picture book filled with tips and tricks to encourage even the most resistant child into giving sleep a try. It's on par with a few other little kids books I have on helping quiet the mind with preparing to sleep but it definitely has some tips I hadn't ever tried before. Many great little meditative techniques for little kids to work through without feeling overwhelmed or like the instructions are over their heads. We will definitely continue to use this book in the future.

Nice book, tips to help children sleep. If you are a mother or aunt like me, you definitely suffer from this every day, so this book came to give us some solutions, and I can't hide from you. I have put some of them in my special list to help adults sleep as well.

This is a sweet book with advice on how to relax and go to sleep and think about dreams and dreaming. There were many tips and tricks I'd never heard of before that could potentially help a kid, or even an adult, fall asleep. I'd love to read this book to my daughter when she's old enough to understand it.

Nearly every kid I know resists going to sleep. How to Sleep Tight Through the Night gives kids some tips and tricks for managing their sleep habits so they sleep better and wake feeling refreshed.

Filled with tips for restless minds, worriers, and the downright reluctant, this book helps encourage quieting the brain, slowing down and introduces breathing and calking techniques for getting kids ready for bed.

And once they're asleep, this book also talks about dreams and emotions and what to do if they wake up from a bad dream to calm themselves back down and feel safe.

The illustrations are nicely done, and each technique covers a two-page spread, so they're accessible and easy for kids to follow.

There are some great tips in here, and I look forward to trying them out with my own kids.

~Many thanks to NetGalley for providing a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review~

This is an adorable, easy to read, sleep guide that is actually targeted toward children. It isn’t big and wordy for adults to read and then lecture their children, it has big beautiful pictures and pretty words and is quite lovely and chock full of some great ideas that adults recommend and use too, like turning off electronics and playing a quiet game or reading a book before bed, or keeping a sleep journal. This is a great, sweet little book to encourage your child to teach themselves how to sleep better. I love this.

I received an ARC, but my opinions are all mine.

This is a great interactive book for kids who have trouble sleeping or need to establish a routine.

The book gives ideas and activities to prepare for bedtime as well as prompts for things they can think about whilst they try and fall asleep.

The illustrations are wonderful and really add to the info in the book.

A beautiful book, which I look forward to sharing with my 4 year old who sometimes has trouble falling asleep. The illustrations in this book are beautiful without being too over stimulating, and there are some lovely ideas in here which I hadn’t already thought of. The falling star jar, in particular, is an activity which we could do together but could also aid a calmer bedtime. I would definitely purchase a copy of this book for her bookshelf, to pull out and pick an idea if ever she’s finding it difficult to nod off.

I really enjoyed this book and shared it with my 5 year old daughter who constantly has trouble sleeping through the night and even going to bed. The illustrations were accessible and grabbed her attention. The tips were simple and concise for her to understand. My only complaint would be that the book itself was a bit too long for a "bedtime story" style book. Regardless of length I loved the book and will recommend it to others.
