This book is amazing! Me and the children absolutely loved the layout of this book. Full of so many activities and things to do. There is crafts aswell as cooking. We couldn't choose the favourite as we simple loved it all. We found it in the library and had to renew it as we were enjoying it so much. Thank you for the opportunity to read and review this amazing book.

A wide range of activities to fill time on a dull weekend.

A beautifully-illustrated book, containing an activity for every week in the year. However, I would dispute the fact that the activities are all “nature” activities, since many of them are recipes (carrot cake, cheesy pasta, apple crumble) – if I’d wanted a children’s cookery book I would have bought one!

Nevertheless, many of the activities are nature-based, for example leaf painting and collage; others are less so but still an interesting introduction to a possible new activity such as yoga or decorating blown eggs for Easter. I recommend that you scan through the book before buying, to ensure that the activities are likely to appeal to you and your child.

I would like to thank NetGalley for giving me a free advance reader copy of this book to review. This review is my own honest and independent opinion of the book.

Loved this book! Full of amazing seasonal ideas for activities and boredom busters for kids to do alone or with the family.
This is a perfect gift.
The illustrations are gorgeous, the layout is fantastic with a double page spread of wonderful ideas for each day, and the activities are easy to do with things around the house and outdoors, nothing is too professional or complicated.

Highly recommended!

Thanks to Netgalley and the publishers for letting me access an advance copy of this book in exchange for my feedback!

What a lovely book! 'Sunday Funday' gives an idea / activity to complete each weekend throughout the year, tailored according to the season.

The first thing I noticed was how beautifully illustrated the book was - very contemporary and appealing.

Usefully, every activity come complete with a 'what you will need' section.

Activities include baking, exercise and fun crafts. This is a real lovely solution to those days when you want to connect with your children but just cant think of anything to do!!

My thanks to NetGalley, author and publisher for the opportunity to review this book in exchange for an advance copy.

Sunday Funday is sure to be a firm family favourite!
The book contains 52 ideas for family fun, one per weekend throughout the year. Each idea is cheerful and appealing.and accompanied by eye catching illustrations which will appeal to the children. Set into sections by season, the Sunday Funday ideas are a mix of arts and crafts themed around nature and seasonal recipes. They are suitable for indoors and outdoors so the typical British weather won't interrupt your family fun.

My family loved the idea of using our old wellies and summer hats for plants and we can't wait to try the Winter Wildlife Wishing trees.
There's a hand list of equipment you need and safety tips you can refer to as you go along.

This book is so versatile - it could make the perfect Christmas present, New Years resolution or family bucket list.

Thank you the author, publisher and Netgalley for the opportunity to review an advanced copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.
