This is the second book I have read by RaeAnne Thayne, now those who follow my reviews will know that I wasn't blown away by my first foray into this authors work, I liked it but didn't love it. But this one has a different feel to it that I instantly liked, it's incredibly Christmassy if the sound of Sleigh Bells doesn't make you come over all festive then I don't what will.
I have to admit that it was the title that caught my eye and piqued my interest in this book, I mean come on 'Sleigh Bells Ring' isn't it wonderful? That alone makes you feel all Christmassy, doesn't it? And I am a sucker for a Christmas book!
The characters are very likeable, they both have 'stuff' swirling around in their personal lives. Annie wants to bring joy to her niece and nephew after they lost their mother and their father (Annie's brother) landed himself in jail - doh! So she decided to treat them to Christmas on the ranch, she is hoping she will be able to go under the radar as her boss is away, but low and behold a spanner in the works as the Ranches grandson Tate turns up unexpectedly for a big family Christmas. I, really, really loved Tate, he's a gorgeous handsome and charming cowboy (can I class him as a cowboy? Well, I am) he reminds me of Rip from Yellowstone in a way; devoted and loyal with eyes for only one woman.
Sleigh Bells Ring makes me think of those cheerful festive TV films that we all watch (don't deny it, you watch them too) it's cheap and cheerful, true a little cheesy at times but who doesn't love a bit of cheesy Christmas fun?
Sleigh Bells Ring is a delightful festive clean romance with tons of twinkly Christmas cheer with lots of heart and huge amounts of emotion, it's just the thing to brighten your day.

Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for an early review copy.

This is a lovely, touching, sometimes heartbreaking, heartwarming story. Which can be read throughout the year, not just for Christmas.

Annie has left a job in San Francisco which she loved doing so that she can help her brother, whose lost his wife and unborn child, and takes a job at Angel View Ranch. This is the place, that belonged to her family and where her dad worked, a place she’s always loved being at.

Her brother is sent to jail for a fight that happened when he was drunk, for a month. Annie moves to the ranch bringing her six year old niece and nephew with her. She wasn’t expecting the Sheridan’s to come to the ranch for the holidays, and she never informed them that she would be bringing the twins with her.

So, when Tate Sheridan, who she had a crush on when they were kids turns up, she’s shocked. Once that wears off, she’s helping Tate to make this Christmas one to remember for his family coming to Wyoming.

What will happen when old feelings and the unexpected occurs?

This story is full of family, trust and start afresh, grabbing second chances in life.

You may shed a tear or two for some of the characters, but the magic of Christmas will make you happy.

Absolutely charming and heartwarming!

Annie McCade is looking after her six year old niece and nephew while her brother spends the holidays behind bars after spiralling out of control after his wife and unborn child died earlier in the year. Tate Sheridan is hit in the crossfire during a rare moment of joy with the children during a snowball fight.

Tate is trying to create the perfect Christmas for his family at Angel View ranch to give his grandfather the perfect family memorial service. Annie and Tate must find a way of working together to do everything with no staff and piling commitments.

The relationships throughout the book are raw and tender. Many members of both families are suffering similar heart aches and find a way to pull each other through. It’s so easy to become attached to the characters and you find yourself crying and laughing with them. So many beautiful stories of love and friendship providing a charming feel good Christmas book.

Set in a beautiful part of the country the ranch provides a beautiful backdrop for the perfect Christmas romance, complete with falling snow and magical sleigh rides.

Not for me I'm afraid, it was all bit too Little House on The Prairie for me, the characters seemed pretty one dimensional and I found it dragged on a bit

A perfect book to read in the run up to Christmas! Heartwarming and sweet with a lovely ranch setting you can’t help wishing you could visit. The characters are great and the ending left me smiling.

A great festive read.

Annie is a ranch manager, having taken the job so she can help out her family. She is surprised by the ranch owning family turning up unannounced just before Christmas, and agrees to let Tate help her get the place ready for the festivities.

Will it be the last Christmas for the family at the ranch before it is sold off, and will they be pleased given the family tragedies that have taken place here?
