A brilliantly Christmassy offering from Heidi Swain. Exactly what you need to get you into the Christmas spirit. I loved getting to know Liza and Ned and seeing their story play out over the course of the book.

A satisfying, warm and festive tale from the wonderful Heidi Swain, who’s books never disappoint. This time we are back in Wynmouth at the Christmas tree farm, where David and Ned have been carrying on Liza’s fathers business following his untimely death. When Liza returns to the farm after many years, determined to sell her shares in the business, she is persuaded to stay on and help out over the festive season. But will she be fall in love with the place that used to be home?
Perfect comfort reading. Curl up on your favourite chair, grab a blanket and a marshmallow topped hot chocolate and lose yourself in this Christmassy delight! Recommended. I devoured it in one sitting!

Wow what a brilliant read. Did not want it to finish. School bullies can cause so much harm and so interesting hearing why they did it.. Ned was lovely, he had vision.. I would love to watch my Christmas tree grow every year in a pot and have a name. The Christmas tree mix was funny in a strange way. I loved Bandit the dog.It was a beautiful love story set in a beautiful place . So glad Liza helped Liam. Liza was a complicated character but she found her way .The Christmas plantation sounded amazing and the craft stalls. A must read. Heidi Swain at her best

Another Christmas gem from Heidi. It’s full of festive cheer and romance and an interestingly different plot line. I immediately engaged with the likeable characters and the Christmas atmosphere was delightful. Add a beautiful husky dog to the mix and it’s a sure fire success! It’s full of emotion and I cried happy tears when Liam was offered a permanent job. I loved the blossoming romance between Ned and Liza , all through their ups and downs. How I’d love to visit Wynter’s Trees and Wonderland and experience the Christmas atmosphere! A wonderful book to get you in the Christmas spirit and feel the love and kindness of a village community. Definitely one for your Christmas reading list!
Thanks to NetGalley and the publishers for allowing me to read this book.

Love Heidi Swain books and this was no disappointment. I love starting to read Christmas stories at this time. The characters were easy to like and the setting on the Christmas Tree farm sounded magical and encapsulated Christmas. Choosing a tree, shopping, hot chocolate, festive food, santa, winter wonderland and families enjoying a day out. It just all sounded perfect and had me wanting to go visit. Definitely one to read in the run up to the festive season.

I discovered Heidi Swain last year courtesy of NetGalley and have made a point of reading many of her books since. This one, like the others, is a good winter’s read. For the first chapter of the book I did not like the heroine at all, but happily she quickly grew on me and I thoroughly enjoyed this book.

Underneath the Christmas tree is a very cute contemporary Christmas romance. As someone who lost their father recently I could relate to Lizas story and the choice she has to make on honoring her father and his legacy. Very cute and heart warming novel!

Premise
Wynter’s Trees is the home of Christmas. For the people of Wynmouth it’s where they get their family Christmas tree, and where Christmas truly comes to life.

But for Liza Wynter, it’s a millstone around her neck. It was her father’s pride and joy but now he’s gone, she can’t have anything to do with it. Until her father’s business partner decides to retire and she must go back to handle the transition to his son Ned.

When Liza arrives, she discovers a much-loved business that’s flourishing under Ned’s stewardship. And she’s happy to stay and help for the Christmas season, but then she has other plans. But will the place where she grew up make her change her mind? And can it weave its Christmas cheer around her heart…?

Under the Christmas tree has it all! The perfect woodland setting, a great romantic storyline and a fabulous array of characters who all add to and embellish the developing relationship between Ned snd Liza, throw in the festive cheer and a spattering of snow and you have the most charming readable heartwarming Christmas book that you really don’t want to end! Would do love to see a follow up to this next year!

Thank you so much Simon & Schuster UK and netgalley for this ARC.

This latest novel by Heidi is just full of sparkles.

Liza goes back to her childhood home and has set in her mind she wants to sell her share of wynters trees to David but David is ready to retire and hand over to his son Ned.

What is is store for Liza this chrismas, Can Liza have a new start? Or go running off on her travels?

This is definitely one to read whilst cosy on the sofa with a mug of hot chocolate.

I could not wait to get my hands on Heidi's latest book and was thrilled to be given an advanced copy. I did ponder over whether it was too early to start with the Christmas books but.....NOPE!

Set in the seaside village of Wynmouth (from The Secret Seaside Escape), we see Liza revisit the ghosts of her Christmas past as she tries to move into her new, future - but things don't quite go to plan. Liza has moved away and started a new life for herself when her dad's old business partner (David) invites her back to see the Christmas tree business her father set up before he died. Liza has been avoiding making the trip as she feels guilty about her father's death and the fact she didn't love the family home like her father did. When Liza does come home and drops a bombshell on David and his hunky son Ned, she gets more than she bargained for.

As always with Heidi's books, there is a theme of community, supporting small businesses, crafting....and food! It has definitely made me think a lot more about how I shop this Christmas and which local businesses to support. I wish we had a Wynter's Christmas Tree plantation near us (although I am allergic to pine needles, so no real tree for us!)

A perfect step into the magic of Christmas, a book to pick up every Christmas. Perfect as ever Heidi.

Oh my, I couldn’t put this book down. I’ve loved being part of Liza and Ned’s lives. The magical Wynter plantation and all it’s characters. Another Christmas Cracker from Heidi. I’ve cried and smiled with the characters. A lovely read to curl up with a very special hot chocolate in your hand. A very festive, feelgood book. Brilliant 💕📚

And Heidi Swain does it again! What a beautiful, heart warming story, perfectly set against a Christmassy backdrop. Liza Wynter is persuaded to return to the family Christmas tree business in Wynmouth by her father's business partner David and his son Ned. Is the reason behind her return quite as they expect though, and will Liza fulfil her future plans?

A fantastic array of characters, from Liza, and Ned, to the fabulous supporting characters of Liam and Maya. Heidi manages to make me fall a little bit in love with all her leading men, and Ned is absolutely no different!

A must read, fabulous book, perfect for curling up to read on a cold day with a delicious hot chocolate (as described often in the book!)
