This was a different read for me for this author. I wouldn’t totally classify this as a rom com like her previous books. This book follows sisters and all their points of views. So this does have multiple view points. I enjoyed this book as it was enlightening. Funny at times, sisters bickering and family.

You really will get your money’s worth when reading this book because it has three couples HEA included. We have the Chance siblings and how they find inner peace as well as their soul mates, so there’s six pov’s and a whole heap of chapters to keep you entertained.

Martin and Peggy Chance had not only built a small business into an empire, but they raised three kids to be compassionate and caring adults. Yet with every family, there’s a hiccup or two along the way, such as stumbling blocks of resentment and accusations or feeling like you failed at something. These can all cause cracks in the best of families. Ford, Cooper and Palmer need to reunite once again to host an anniversary party for their parents, although it’s not as simple as it should be.

Ford has taken on more responsibilities being the eldest, and he seems to have lost his fun card. Business is booming but he still feels like he’s getting nowhere fast on the rebranding. Cooper feels he could help, if only Ford could look past Coop’s prior mistakes and see how much he has changed in the last twelve months. However, he’s doing the same thing to Palmer and not letting go of her previous errors and holding a grudge. Ford has an ally in his assistant Larkin, who everyone else can see the perfect match they would make but them. Cooper had no idea that the family friend Nora was more than just a brilliant baker. She gave as good as she got, and bought out another side of him that was fun, flirty and carnal. Palmer too had a supporter from way back, her high school crush Beau, now the island doctor, who was ready to start something this time, if she was going to stay on the island.

I found it hard to pick a favorite couple because each of them had qualities that I adore. For me I need to see that characters have a flaw and then can be redeemed and grow beyond their insecurities or issues. All three siblings did that, with each other and their significant other. Was it easy? No! Did they run into obstacles and stuff up? Yeah but some of them were hilarious for the reader. MQ’s humor is one I can relate to and enjoy. It’s sassy, a little sarcastic and plenty of banter. This book is wrapped up splendidly with the epilogue, totally loved the outcomes for each couple and Martin and Peggy too. If ever a novel was to be made into a movie, this one right here should be.

In Meghan Quinn’s latest book “The Reunion”,Ford, Cooper and Palmer are planning an anniversary party for their parents. This sounds like a very easy task but not when the three siblings are corresponding only by group text, can’t agree on a cake and are hiding secrets from one another.

Their family home on Marina Island holds wonderful memories for all of them. Cooper lives nearby and is always there doing odd jobs for his parents. Ford lives in Denver and gets home when his schedule permits and Palmer hasn't been home in a very long time. We all expect things to be the same upon returning to our childhood home but that is impossible. Palmer wants to relive the past at home while she contemplates her future. Cooper is tired of being the only child who lends a hand around the house and Ford feels he is the only one who really cares about the family business.

There is a lot of drama among the family members along with laughter, tears and hope for the future. Falling in love was not on anyone’s agenda but Ford, Cooper and Palmer had decisions to make when faced with a chance for romance. I am sure that everyone who reads this book will see aspects of their own family in the characters. For example, fighting between the siblings, worrying about their parents now that they are getting older and wishing they could close their eyes and be young again when things were simpler and they had their whole lives ahead of them. I was swept away by the love they had for their parents, the special times they had growing up on the island and their realization that life must go on.

This book is quite the deal. You get three romances for the price of one. ;) The story is a little different than this authors usual work. There is lots of humor, but it's not quite on the same level. There is a little more deep feelings involved. The book centers around the Chance family siblings. Each one has their own romantical relations that they are working towards, but in addition to that, they are working through their family relationships. The main theme of the book is the family dynamics and how it's changed over the years, and how each sibling's actions have played a role in that change. Having once been a close knit family, they had grown apart and are at each others throats constantly... that is when they are even communicating with one another. There aren't any side characters included in this. Just the three siblings, their parents, and their potential love matches. And the book is written from each ones, except the parents, prospective. Yes, six different POV's. Don't worry. It isn't confusing to read. The characters are wonderfully written and not only great people, but people with flaws (which they eventually come to terms with.) While there is some sexual content, their stories aren't all about the sex (and what is portrayed in the pages isn't all that graphic.) There is a novella, The One Night, that is a prequel to this book, and is a sorta of introduction to the family. That book features one of the siblings and his potential partner. It doesn't need to be read before this to follow along, but is a fun little added bonus if you want to get a little more insight into the characters. I mentioned this book has more feelings involved, and there are several scenes that may require some tissues, so keep them nearby.

Okay, way to hit me right in the feels Meghan Quinn! This story touched me deeper than any other book has come close to. Family isn’t perfect, but with determination and acceptance, they can be the backbone you need.

With this unique story, we get SIX points of view. That’s right, six! At first I was a little weary, but who am I kidding here? Meghan always knows how to pull you right in and tells the perfect story.

Ford, ever the problem solver, the one who sees everything in black and white, the oldest sibling. I think his part of the story might have been my favorite. He was no nonsense, he told it how it was and to see him finally give in to temptations and let loose made my eyes sparkle with stars and hearts!

Cooper, the guy who has stayed behind to help his parents, has little confidence and a whole lot of heart. His counterpart helped grow him as a person. She was so quick witted to his comebacks, they make the perfect couple. Cooper grew into a brave, confident man by the end of the book that wasn’t afraid to show his soft and vulnerable side.

Palmer, the fly by the seat of her pants, little diva of a younger sister. I felt she had a lot of attitude and a lot of confidence that needed to be knocked down a few pegs and her man did just that for her. He didn’t take away from her charm, but rather evened her out. He wasn’t afraid to tell her like it was, and what she needed to do to get to that better place.

These siblings that were all on different sides of the circle, had to come together to create an anniversary party for their parents - so we see the bickering and the party planning throughout the story along with the romances blossoming too.

I enjoyed how humorous this family was. I’m still laughing over chapter thirty!! I found myself highlighting so many parts that had me howling with laughter in between snorting. The banter between all of the characters plus their parents was pure gold. Meghan is able to make you be annoyed at the antics of each character only to be brought back to loving them once you get their point of view. So many stars deserved for this well written masterpiece. Excuse me while I go wipe my tears from that ending.

This was a great story about 3 siblings that have grown distant from each other. They have come home to host a anniversary party for their parents. There is a lot going on in this book as it’s told from 6 different viewpoints. It delves into the siblings relationship with each other and the people they would like to be their significant other. Really liked this story.

Ok I absolutely ate this book up! I was a little hesitant to reading a book with six POVs but kudos to Megan Quinn! She did an amazing job. You really get an understanding of each character and their story. I’m in love with the Chance family. Can they please adopt me?
I felt Palmer’s story so much. Meghan Quinn was truly able to write how Palmer feels lost in the world and how she hasn’t found her happiness yet.
Nora is my inner spirit! I love how she speaks her mind. The things she say crack me up! That girl has no filter and I am here for it!
I liked seeing Ford loosen up. Working the corporate job he always felt that he had to be on top of things so it was nice to see him take a step back and relax.
I felt so much for Cooper. I love seeing how hard he works to deal with his issues to be a better man for Nora.
Definitely recommend reading this book!

I am a Meghan Quinn STAN. Seriously, I've read all her books and she just writes such fun stories! From her rom com's to her more serious books, she can truly do it all. However, that being said, this book just didn't do it for me. I felt all the different POVs really caused me to be unable to connect to one couple/character strongly. They switched so frequently I felt I was just getting into the story and then it would switch. Over all I loved the world and the premise but the execution was off for me. I think it would have been better if each couple was its own separate story. Quinn is an auto buy author and I know her next books will be more my preference, this just wasn't it.

This is a very good book. It is multigenerational. The mother and father are Peggy and Martin. The adult children are Ford, Cooper, and Palmer. The story is about how important family is. If you have problems with your family then you should work them out, because you need your family. All three of the children have issues and eventually with the help of another sibling they work through their issues. They all find love.

Sweet, romantic and real, The Reunion is a perfect blend of great writing, full characters and human dynamics all resulting in a captivating read.

A book that gives voice to so many different perspectives is a lofty challenge and risks getting a little muddy yet Meghan's impeccable writing manages to navigate the different characters giving each their own unique and recognizable voice. Filled with so much real and intricate human emotions, this book will give you all the feels.

5 stars and a party

I really enjoyed this one! It took me back to Port Snow a little bit, which is one of my favorite series of Meghan Quinn's. I honestly wasn't sure how I was going to like this because juggling 6 different characters seemed like it was going to take a lot of energy. Surprisingly I found that that was not the case. It sounds weird to say, but it was done in an orderly fashion where whatever each character was doing at the moment was within the timeline of the previous chapter. It was very easy to follow once I remembered to pay attention to the chapter titles.

I think my favorite couple in this was Nora and Cooper. Cooper was so funny and he had a lot on his plate. Frankly, I thought he was treated like garbage by both of his siblings and didn't get enough credit by anyone. It all worked out in the end, but I think I felt the most bad for him throughout the entirety of the book. He and Nora had really fun chemistry too and I loved how their relationship came together seamlessly.

Ford and Larkin were my 2nd favorite. I love the whole boss/assistant trope so it was a nice addition. Larkin really made Ford grow up and also loosen up at the same time. She brought out the best in him and I really liked seeing the transition.

Palmer and Beau were my least favorite. And not because of Beau. I actually really liked him. I thought he was such a good, gentle guy. Palmer was a disaster and a spoiled brat. I don't think she really ever redeemed herself; either that or my contempt for her by that point was just too much to overcome. I just felt like she never grew up and never wanted to own up to her own mistakes. I don't know. She rubbed me the wrong way.

Overall, the book is full of lots of juicy drama and hilarious antics on all sides. I'm very excited that Cooper has a novella because I've been DYING to know what went on between him and Nora prior to them becoming a couple.

I had a great time reading this book!
I'm not fond of family stories but I wanted to read something by Meghan Quinn and this story seemed interesting. It isn't only interesting, it's funny too, a little sexy and with a heartwarming touch.
There are a lot of point of views but surprisingly it feels very natural, it doesn't overwhelm you.
I loved almost every character (I couldn't get on with Palmer, she was very annoying most of the book) and their interactions, they are a funny lot! But I expected more romance and less family time, so the last part was a little cheesy for me (purely personal opinion). And a little more development at the final would have been great, I think the resolution is too rushed.
The book is well written, very easy to read and catching, you are interested in every story, which is remarkable considering there are three love stories.
I'm looking forward to reading more of Meghan Quinn!

Esta es la típica novela que tiene una parte que me ha encantado y otra que me ha gustado bastante menos, así que la dejo a medio camino de todO.
Tenemos a tres hermanos que se juntan para planificar la fiesta por las bodas de oro de sus padres y a los tres intereses amorosos de los hijos. Todos tienen punto de vista pero milagrosamente no es un lío, aunque tampoco los distingues. Sus interacciones resultan frescas y divertidas, muy naturales, pero lo principal del libro es la familia, no el amor guarreril, así que los personajes vienen con una atracción previa que explota en la primera parte mientras que en la segunda cobra más importancia la familia y el libro se vuelve algo moñas, aunque no llega a estar esto un Macomber ni mucho menos.
Me ha resultado entretenido y todas las relaciones han mantenido mi atención pero la resolución de la trama familiar ha sido muy rápida y moñas.
Leeré otro de la escritora a ver si me sigue gustando su estilo.

This book was knocked my socks off! I was not expecting when I started to read this book a story of not only love but of discovery and forgiveness. I also was not expecting it to revolve around so many characters but this was a funny at times and highly charged at others that left me feeling a major book hangover when I finished this book.

In this book, we meet the three Chance siblings - Ford, Cooper and Palmer. Each of the siblings have not only grown apart from one another but have also lost their way in life. Ford spends most of his time refereeing his siblings while struggling with rebranding the family outdoors company even though he has lost touch with his love for the business itself and the experiences that made him love his work in the beginning. Cooper, still recovering from his failed marriage while taking care of his parents and hating his job is struggling to find his confidence in himself and pursue his true happiness in another relationship with Nora and with assisting with the business rebranding. And then there is Palmer. She was the traveler that wandered the world while trying to prove that she was a success when in fact she was simply running away from her life and her failures while trying to find herself.

Each of these siblings have issues that they work to resolve while finally admitting their feelings to the ones that they have each secretly have had feelings for - Ford for his assistant Larkin, Cooper for his feelings for Nora and their one night stand and Palmer for her teen love that hasn't changed for Beau. All of this occurring while the siblings attempting to throw an anniversary party for their parents.

This was a funny read that at times I found myself laughing out loud while reading. The story moved along well and those of us with siblings could find relatable - especially with some of the fighting among the siblings that occurred. I enjoyed how the entire book was told from different POV and how they over came their differences. There is so much that I could say about this book but I don't want to ruin this book for others other than I would recommend this book!

Honestly I was skeptical when I saw the premise of this book because of the multiple point of views. I tend to get lost when more than two people are the main voice of the story, but this author seamlessly mastered making 6 individual voices intertwined with three love stories to make one magical book. The author has her signature quick-witted humor that balances the emotional family drama to make this both fun while being heartfelt.

I’ve always enjoyed a book that at its core revolves around one family. I live for the dysfunction, the ability for adult siblings to, in some form, always act as if they are still children, and the overall love that is evident and persistent when the family unit is in need. Though at times the story took some stressful topics, there was a realism to them that made the characters feel more human.

“Get ready to be taunted and teased while I emotionally stimulate you.” I get “kilig” everytime Meghan Quinn releases a new book and this one didn’t disappoint. Yes, there were times where I would get irritated with certain characters, but there was love and humor that kept pulling me in. As a PNW, this book encapsulated everything I adore about Washington State and captured the reason why there’s more to it than just Seattle. Thank you to NetGalley and Montlake for this ARC

What a smash success this book is from Meghan Quinn! In being completely transparent.I have read almost every book Quinn has put out in the last few years and was over the moon to get the chance to review this, I love her as an author and want nothing but the best for her career. This book is pure romance lovers dream, a three in one book as each sibling gets their own HEA and we get to follow and enjoy the different tropes and moments. The flow between the different POVs and romances is quite impressive and the sibling conflict feels so real. I absolutely cannot wait for this book to be published!

The Chance family comes together to celebrate their parents’ anniversary, but the three siblings, Ford, Cooper, and Palmer, cannot get along to plan the event. Their overwhelming struggles affect not only their relationship with each other but with their significant others. I loved the way this book told each character’s point of view and the way it came together.

I’m giving this book a very solid 3.5 stars! It’s not that the book wasn’t my usual 4-5star I typically give Meghan…this book just really needed to be longer. I ADORED the fact that the book was about multiple relationships & she wrote the changes between couples perfectly. Each relationship just need more development/page time before I could believe they’d fallen that so head-over-heels in love.
I truly enjoyed it! I just needed more story for each couple so it didn’t seem like things happened so fast…because with the length that it is now: each live story just felt too fast.
Other than that, I adored the siblings & that we got to watch all three of their relationships at the same time. That was a neat spin that I’d never read before.
As always, I loved the banter & scenarios that Meghan wrote. Too good!

As a lover of Meghan's books, this one missed the mark for me. I would've much rather had three books instead of 3 couples packed into one book. Something just missed the mark for me with this book when I wanted to love it so much.
