A second chance romance with an amazing, heart aching heroine, Nadia. It is a fast paced and an intense read.

Spoilsport tells the story of Nadia and Luke and how they reunite after a pervious one night stand. I enjoyed how the main characters connected over their interest in building Nadia's dream home. I did however have a hard time with how long it took Nadia to forgive Luke for not telling her immediately that he had an ex wife and child. I did however really like Luke's character because he was not afraid to push Nadia out of her comfort zone and to confront her real feelings. I also enjoyed how sure he was of what he felt for her. Overall an entertaining second chance romance read.

this is an easy beach or weekend read that I was able to finish quickly. The main characters had great chemistry and banter, and the steamy scenes were well done! I did find her a bit annoying at times and immature, but enjoyed the book enough to look past it.

Nadia and Luke dated before and he lied to her. Now he's back and and she's as mad as she can be. Nadia doesn't want anything to do with him, but Luke and their friends have another idea.

Fun romcom, light and easy to read. Great for a beach read or a lazy rainy day.

Nadia Alvarez has plenty of interest in men, just not in having a relationship or falling in love. She saw what it did for her parents, and she wants no part of it. She just needs a builder to help her fix her house before it succeeds in killing her, but her modest budget means she has no choice but to hire the man she’s been determined never to see again.

Luke Pierce has always been the serious, responsible brother, and that’s even more true now that he’s a divorced father. He fell hard for Nadia during an out of character fling and has never forgotten her, but she’s very clear on the fact that she doesn’t want to even speak of their shared history, much less revisit it.

But Nadia’s sharp wit is intoxicating and soon Luke is letting down his guard and learning to loosen up and have a little fun. Nadia finds she enjoys bringing out the less serious side of Luke and it soon seems inevitable that he will fall even deeper in love with her than he was before, and this time she may too, no matter how much she protests herself to be incapable of feelings.

I wanted to squeeze this in as something light and fun to hopefully be a pick me up of sorts for me. It did serve that purpose, but Nadia was a real pill. Her resistance to Luke and at times just plain meanness toward him was sometimes hard to take, especially given how nice he was and how much he was doing for her. Most of the time Nadia just seemed petulant and immature, hiding and playing games with Luke rather than being the bluntly honest person she claimed to be. The ameliorating factor here was that she was also lying to herself about her feelings and that made it satisfying when Luke did eventually pry the truth out of her, though that satisfaction came late enough that I wasn’t able to savor it as much as I would’ve liked to, and it made the ending feel just a bit abrupt. Luke was a great hero and definitely easy to root for. Nadia was a bit much, but I did like that Luke wasn’t afraid to push her and that she did eventually grow to meet and match him. Luke carried this book for me, and the rest of the brothers seem to have that same sort of charm, so I look forward to reading their stories as well.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book and its audiobook. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Spoilsport didn't disappoint in the enemies-to-lovers trope. Nadia was super sassy which I loved as she was trying to ignore the sexual tension coming from Luke. But she just couldn't because what Luke had was a charming personality and the need to complete his family with Nadia. Luke's daughter Esme was so sweet and really delighted with the pages she was on.

Nadia and Luke have a past- they dated until Nadia found out Luke lied about still being married, although he was separated. Now they are reunited and Luke is the contractor on Nadia’s home renovation. The sparks between the two of them were strong and I loved watching Nadia progress through her feelings and meeting Luke’s daughter Esme. The story was most sweet with some steamy moments and completely satisfying. I look forward to reading about Seth in the next book.

A second chance at love? If you're a fan of enemies to lovers/second chance romance, this is the book for you! I loved the sexual tension between Luke and Nadia throughout the book and Nadia's sassy personality. Also, Luke's daughter, Esme, is the sweetest thing. An enjoyable read.

Spoilsport is everything a romcom should be and while it’s the second in a series it worked as a stand-alone—though I’ll now be seeking the first! Belinda delivers on her promise to write strong women and the big-hearted men they deserve; Nadia and Luke’s story plastered a smile on my face from start to finish with swooning smiles emanating right from the heart, cheeky smiles over their banter/chemistry and blushing smiles when Belinda brings the🌶 🥵🔥.

Synopsis:
Spoilsport shares a sweet, fun, lighthearted and laugh-out-loud #SecondChanceRomance story between Nadia Alvarez and Luke Pierce. Nadia, a nurse and homeowner of a dilapidated fixer-upper that is out to get her, hires Luke our of sheer desperation despite her vows never to see him again.

Luke, construction business owner and divorced father of 8-year-old Esme, has a generous heart that still beats for Nadia after their uncharacteristic one-night stand. Despite Nadia’s distaste for him he’s determined to deliver the dream home she deserves.

Review:
Luke Pierce is out here raising the bar for book boyfriends everywhere. Seriously, someone find us some #TeamLuke tees because from his first appearance we were in love, admiring: his work ethic; selfless desire to both do right by Nadia and give her what she deserves in a home; and family values.

We love how Belinda gives us glimpses behind Nadia’s tough exterior through her colleagues, best friend and even through the love/hate relationships she has with her house (that is definitely out to get her!). We’re shown rather than told about her capacity for kindness, humour and compassion. It was rewarding as a reader to learn alongside Luke that Nadia’s reluctance for relationships and aversion to love are heartfelt and deep-rooted, not shallow or surface as they first seem.

Quick highlights:
- Miscommunication trope executed perfectly (this is usually make-or-break for us and Belina blows it out of the water)
- Spicy scenes limited but SO well-written
- Engaging, relatable and charming group dynamic carries over from first book feeling so realistic and accessible
- Attention to detail makes this story
- Sweet & spicy — their chemistry is 🥵
- Appreciate that this rom com offered not just Nadia and Luke’s enemies-to-lovers storyline but also a rich subplot with Luke/his ex-wife/Esme
- Overall light-hearted, fast-paced, easy and rewarding read

Our sincere thanks to Netgalley and Belinda Williams for this eARC in exchange for our honest thoughts.

Spoilsport is the second part of the Pierce Brothers series. I enjoyed the rom-com-ish story of Tom and Chelsea in Mr. Nice guy, so I was very happy to see Spoilsport on Netgalley as well. As suspected, from the scene in Mr. Nice guy, there had been some history between Luke and Nadia before.

Apparently, as we can read in Spoilsport Nadia and Luke have hooked up before. But then, Nadia found out that Luke had ‘omitted’ to tell her that he was married, so now she really hates his guts.

Luke’s marriage has been over for quite some time now. His ex-wife, however, still has a hard time, letting Luke go. So, she uses their daughter, Esme, to punish him.

When he went out with Nadia, he was technically not divorced yet, and Nadia seems to hold this against him with a vengeance. Which is a shame, because Luke really, really likes her.

When Nadia needs a builder to renovate her house, she gets a quote from Luke, which is much better than every other quote she has received. So, grudgingly, she accepts his proposal. While Nadia’s house is being renovated,

Nadia learns a whole new side of Luke: a responsible family man and a devoted father. So, he is nothing like the lying and cheating bastard she pegged him to be.

And Luke discovers why Nadia has put concrete walls around her heart.

Can Luke tear down the right walls? Find out for yourself in this cute and funny rom-com story. And I’m very curious to the other Pierce Brothers’ stories. Four out of five stars from me and a special thank you to Netgalley for providing the arc.

This one was not for me, I didn't like the characters - especially the main female love interest she came across as so immature and whiny. I just didn't enjoy it I'm afraid.

A fun fast paced romance. Would recommend to people who enjoy romance. I would rate it a four out of five stars.

A escrita é fácil e a narrativa é bem ágil. Então está super recomendando.

Enemies to lovers meets fixer upper in this fun book.

I absolutely love when two people that love each other hate each other. Luke and Nadia definitely don't see eye to eye at the beginning of this book and I loved it. It was neat watching them navigate a business relationship to fix up her house.

Neither character was perfect by a long shot in this book and some of their issues wrapped up a little too fast and neat in the end, but it was a cute story

I received an advanced copy of this book through NetGalley. This is my honest review.

I loved this story. It was a classic, easy to read. rom-com with the enemies to lovers vibe and though this is book 2 it is definitely okay to read as a stand-alone as I didn’t realise it was book 2 until I had finished. I’ll definitely be looking for book 1 now.

i love the single parent trope and this did not disappoint! Nadia and Luke meet and have a one night stand. from there the two of them end up with Luke fixing Nadia's house. It was nice to read a book that is not set in NYC, LA, or Seattle.

Thank you NetGalley and BWtite Publishing for access to an eARC of this book!

You meet them in book #1, Nadia and Luke had a relationship until Nadia learned Luke wasn’t being truthful of being separated from his wife and having a daughter. Now a year later, Luke still thinks about her, and she desperately needs help renovating her “new” house. When their chemistry is still strong, then need to decide if they can be in a no-strings sexual relationship, or if the rules are meant to be spoiled.

Rating: 4/5 - I thought this book was fun to read! Nadia is sassy at, and Luke is so sweet, you can’t help but root for their relationship! It was cute, not spicy, storyline, but had a descriptive-ish scene, and overall a nice read!
