I must firstly apologise for the amount of time it has taken me to provide a review of this book, my health was rather bad for quite some time, something that had me in hospital on numerous occasions and simply didnt leave me with the time I once had to do what I love most.

Unfortunately that does mean I have missed the archive date for many of these books, so It would feel unjust throwing any review together without being able to pay attention to each novel properly.

However, I am now back to reading as before and look forward to sharing my honest reviews as always going forward. I thank you f0r the patience and understanding throughout x

Merry/Meredith is working at a top class hotel. She is asked/told to assist with the launch of a new first class train service over the Christmas period so can’t go home to see her semi estranged family. Giovanni is her boss, who she has already knocked over with a Christmas tree! So she can’t really refuse. The sparks fly, but although he doesn’t do commitment he does offer her a job which she turns down. Will he be able to salvage a HEA?

I received this book via Netgalley and Mills and Boon in exchange for a honest review. I am a #MillsAndBoonInsider #netgalley #gifted

He's the boss, she's the underling.

They meet, get on with business, their attraction is acted upon and then it's over. He doesn't do commitment, she is inconsolable. The job offer he makes, she ignores.

He misses her, when he realises the love he has for her cannot be denied. That is the easy part convincing her could be a challenge.

With a happy ever after ending, in this emotional, romantic story of love, happiness, laughter, family and the commitment of marriage and the children he thought he would never want.

Merry loves Christmas and loves her job at a top hotel, when she is asked to help out on a new festive train holiday experience she knows that it is vital for her job that she makes it a success. What she isn't counting on though is her instant attraction to Giovanni her billionaire boss.
The train journey takes you through an amazing festive wonderland and the viewing carriage sounds like a romantic dream come true.
A great festive romance.

Unwrapped by her Italian Boss is a category romance that does exactly what you’d expect of a category romance. It wasn’t my favourite romance that I’ve read recently, but the story was entertaining enough and I chomped through this in just a couple of days. I did find the hero‘a dialogue irritating though!

I received an ARC from NetGalley and Mills and Boon in return for an honest review.

I always enjoy Michelle Smart's books. She creates a wonderfully escapist world of fantasy, romance, and abundant wealth with an engaging hero/heroine, whose story pulls you right in.

Giovanni and Merry are another great couple, and their journey to a happy ending is emotional and entertaining. I loved the idea of the luxury train and the insight to how the other half live!

Whilst I liked the way Giovanni talked, I found his use of the term 'lady' somewhat irritating.

This is a festive story set in Switzerland, Paris and across the Alps. Part of the story takes place on a luxury train, and this well-described setting makes this a vivid read. Merry is innocent and career-driven, running away from her dysfunctional family. Giovanni is a self-made billionaire, Merry's temporary boss who hates Christmas because of a personal tragedy. There are elements of humour and poignant moments which draw the reader's empathy.

The chemistry between the two is well-written with sparkly romance. Giovanni has old fashioned manners and speech that fit perfectly with the festive old-world setting. There is angst, reconciliation, self-realisation and a lovely romantic conclusion.

I received a copy of this book from Mills and Boon via NetGalley in return for an honest review.

An excellent Mills and Boon. Our couple meet and whilst sparks fly there is no mutual trust. The antipathy that they have for each other, as well as their emotional past and baggage, is well unpacked and explored without making too much of it. This sets up the tale to come to its conclusion well.
The background to the romance is a luxurious train and the descriptions are great and really make you feel present and enjoying the Christmas magic with the guests.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for giving me a free ecopy to review.

I really liked that Merry was into her career. She and Giovanni both had troubled pasts which was interesting.

I loved that it was set near Christmas and in Europe.

I think it might have been a bit better if it was a little longer and we got more interactions between Merry and her best friend but overall it was a cute read.

Loved this pre Christmas tale. Sexy hero, who hates all things Christmas capable.Heroine who loves all things Christmas and the gorgeous glamour of the train. Just perfect.
